This brewery is the story of a passionate couple who came from Toulouse to live off their passion in the heart of Bigouden country. After training in the cultivation of hops, they went on to create their own craft beers with a rich variety of flavors. Whether you're a fan of light beers or prefer bolder flavors, you're sure to find what you're looking for in their creations. The products are also on sale in the store in Pont-l'Abbé. Merlin is the spirit of Brittany, where tradition and creativity come together to create unique experiences.

This establishment is located on an exceptional site that you will certainly appreciate. Olivier Lallemand has indeed set up his brewery at the end of the world, on the Crozon peninsula, in a former military underground. The modern and constantly evolving workshop produces high quality artisanal beer that has won several awards in France and abroad. Whether it is white, blond, brown or triple brown, Térénez's beer is authentic and has character! You can buy and taste this nectar produced with love on site, the brewery having a tasting and sale area (which faces the cemetery of the boats of Landevennec!). A great way to taste a little bit of Brittany... To be noted: The brewery offers tours of the site in July and August, which can be done from Brest by sea (from the Customs quay), in partnership with the boats Brestoâ, Loch Monna and Dalh Mad.

Located in the commercial area, this cellar-bar franchise occupies a space arranged in an industrial style, a mixture of wood, bricks and concrete. You can sit on stools, around high tables or cans. Eight beers are available on a draught basis, a panel that changes regularly. You can also try one of the many bottled beers, also sold in the adjoining cellar area. Among the 300 references, many Belgians and Trappists, a good choice of French and some Breton. There are also whiskies, arranged rums and other spirits. Various activities are offered throughout the year: broadcasting of sporting events on giant screens, tastings, concerts... Not to mention the afterworks with DJ, every Thursday from September to mid-June.

This friendly bar-cave, a stone's throw from the Place du Martray, welcomes you in a warm and atypical retro setting. Here, you can enjoy an excellent homemade hot chocolate or, at aperitif time, enjoy a beer or glass of wine, accompanied by a charcuterie board. In the back room, the beer cellar offers a vast selection of Breton and Belgian mousses, as well as rums, whiskies and a regional grocery corner. Apero concerts are regularly organized. Not far from the center of town, this rock-solid brew pub, whose name means "bottle-opener" in Breton, has a sales and tasting area, open on Saturdays and for weekend aperitifs. From the bar, large glass windows offer a view of the vats where the beverages ferment: blonde, amber, white or vanilla brown... Each one bears the name of a member of the "club of 27", those rockers who died early: Joplin, Hendrix... Top-quality beers, with a touch of bitterness. The bar also serves wine, softs and hot drinks.

The credo of this artisanal brewery: beers of low fermentation, neither filtered nor pasteurized, to preserve the natural flavours. Tri Martolod privileges the human aspect as well as the independence of the company. Blonde, white, red or brown, the beers are available according to taste. In its building at the entrance of the town, you will find all their products. In the extension, the bar comes alive on the occasion of evening concerts. It is also possible to take a closer look at the manufacturing process, the vats being open during fermentation.

This microbrewery with a warm and family atmosphere has taken up residence in the heart of the old town. Three atmospheres make up the premises: the "workshop" where the beers are produced, the "bistro" where you can taste them, and the store where you can buy them as well as various other local products or even beer water, beer vinegars or beer preserves. Crack open the Port-Malo, a light blonde and the Saint-Malo, a golden beer.

In the centre, a stone's throw from the market, La Bonne Heure is a cellar specialising in craft beers from Brittany (Philomenn, BK, La Dilettante...), France and around the world (Poland, Denmark, Germany, Mexico, Quebec...). If you don't know what to choose among the 250 references, don't panic: Denis can describe each beverage and tell you the story of each brewery. You can also leave with Breton spirits: Lannionnais whisky, chouchen, Pommeau... Some grocery products for the aperitif complete the offer.

Beer from here or elsewhere, the choice is declined in more than 300 references of craft beers. Needless to say, you won't know where to turn and the evening with friends will be celebrated with dignity. As far as flavors are concerned, treat yourself with notes of oysters, coffee or honey. In Craft Beer We Trust!

This leitmotiv sums up well the spirit of the first artisanal brewery in Brest, which was founded in July 2015 in the Saint-Pierre district, with the declared desire to give back to Brest its brewing know-how. Benoît, at the origin of the project, surrounded by Sébastien, Guillaume and Daniel, also wanted to offer a beer made from local and organic raw materials, part of a short virtuous circuit, to the delight of lovers of traditional beers from all the Biocoop in Brittany.

Their committed and festive project took the form of four recipes: the trapper's beer, Captain Baril, Original Barrel and White Barrel. And because they like to enhance the value of their territory, all their "drêches" (malt grain husks) are offered to the Traon Bihan farm, the last dairy farm in Brest, to feed the cows, whose milk is converted into farm yoghurt to supply the city's canteens, for the happiness of all the children in Brest. This is a committed company that is enjoying a growing and deserved success.

This microbrewery, in the heart of the Capucins district, leaves no one indifferent. A complete change of scenery is provided by a cellar offering some 100 references of local and foreign beers. But that's not all: the shop also offers a brewing workshop where you can create your own drink. You can choose from twenty-five different recipes. A moment of sharing and discovery guaranteed. The pleasure continues a month later when you return to collect your own bottles. Price: 170 euros for one or two people. Privatization possible for up to twenty people.

A former airplane pilot, Dave Bednarowicz took up craft beer brewing in 2013, a passion he'd already pursued as an amateur. Today, he produces no less than 10,000 liters a month. Beers brewed year-round include Pilote en Mousse (blonde), Covale (white), Boom (blonde IPA), Kervignacoise (triple) and Chonchon (amber). Building on its success, the brewery now welcomes you to a beautiful space in a former printing works, converted into a brewpub for evening concerts, tastings and afterworks!

Located in the heart of South Finistère, a stone's throw from the sandy beaches, the brewery welcomes the public in a reserved area where the different beers are offered on draught: britt, recognizable among all by its "puffin" bird, but especially its flavor that evokes the strength and freshness of the Finisterian waves, Saint-Erwann, with intense and varied flavors, an organic beer with seven abbey-type cereals, Dremmwel, and Ar-Men, which is not only organic, but has a lot of character and comes in four recipes.

In this den, you will not lack advice and explanations on unique beer and food pairings. Alain, a zythologist (beer expert), offers a wide selection of beers from various origins. From Brittany to Belgium, through Europe and the USA. There is something for everyone, from the most classic to the most unusual. Let yourself be tempted by the Sacred Heart 8 from La Débauche with apricot and bergamot or the Coffee To Go from Maltgarden. Beer lovers will also find beers with chili pepper, coconut or others aged in rum barrels. To taste these finds in a friendly atmosphere, go to Alain's bar, Le Sur-Mesure, at 18 rue de Robien.

It's an institution in the Trégor region, found in every bar. This brand of beer is named after the great-grandmother of Bertrand Salomon, the brewery's founder. Handcrafted from organic, local barley, Philomenn comes in red, blonde, stout, peat, white, triple... not to mention the ephemera. To make your choice, visit the brewery, which has taken over former railway workshops on the banks of the Jaudy. The beautifully renovated brick warehouse features a sales and tasting area, with a view of the vats.

In the Loup Gourmand you enter Brittany greedy. The house is known for its unique choice of Breton beers: more than 150 references from the 60 listed breweries. It was formerly called «The house of the 100 Breton beers». In fact, when you pass the door, you are immediately impressed by the quantity of bottles dividing the walls from the floor to the ceiling. White, blond, elliptical, brown, organic, hops or black wheat, small bottles or large containers, they spoil beginners and connoisseurs, who sometimes come from very far. The house also offers a huge offer of Breton liquor and food specialities at very good prices. In 2016 a website is in gestation to present all this.

In the land of Per Jakez Helias and Hénaff pâté, in an old farmhouse with an undeniable cachet, Patrick Daniel (the first brewer in the Bigouden region in 1999!) brews traditional, top-fermented, pure malt, unfiltered beers in vats from Wales. There are five types of beer from Penhors: amber, blonde, brown, white and stout. About 400 hl/year come out of the Bigouden vats. And since a few years, a delicious organic lemonade is also made on the spot! A very nice discovery.

Located in the heart of Saint-Martin, l'Urbaine is an artisanal micro-brewery in Brest created by Julien Plégades. The establishment wants to be a place of creation and production of artisanal beers in an eco-responsible spirit. L'Urbaine offers organic beers made with passion! The Stoner, a blonde Pale Ale, for example, is distributed in bars, restaurants and wine shops. Here is a modest craft brewery that seems to be filled with beautiful human and ecological values: research, taste and pleasure!

Gérald, three-time world champion windsurfer, is passionate about the maritime world and beer brewing. It was therefore natural that he wanted to set up his brewery on the quays of Brest, at the marina. The first beer brewed, a light lager, is, as will be the following ones, artisanal and organic. As for the partners of the brewery, they are local and supportive. In short, a port beer, made to federate and transmit the taste of the open sea! The wager is successful: a real pleasure! Born in 2016, the "brewery of the tontons" is the fruit of the adventures and desires of its three founders: Mathieu, Benoît and Benjamin. In an old boathouse, the beers (of Anglo-Saxon inspiration) are produced from about fifteen hops and a dozen barley and wheat malts. They have a fruity taste, with citrus and pine aromas, and a pleasant bitterness. Their Tagarin Ale, Blanche IPA, Witbier, Stout Toujours and IPA can also be found in several local wineries and bars.
