Established in Fougères since 2015, Nicolas Royer never ceases to amaze with his mastery of his art. At the Salon du Chocolat 2022, he not only won the "Meilleurs Chocolatiers de France" research prize, but also the "Tablette d'or" and "Coup de coeur" awards from the Club des croqueurs de chocolat! Le Fougerais works with Roellinger spices, Pays de Fougères honey, Combourg saffron and Bordier butter. His creations give his shop window a gourmet touch!

The display cases are always creative and catch the eye with classic pieces and originality. It should be noted that the founder, Georges Larnicol, is the best worker in France. In this shop you will melt for chocolates, torches or kouignettes. Original perfumes that you will enjoy during a walk or during a dinner... This self-service biscuit and chocolate factory specialises in kouignette: an individual kouign-amann. To discover the ephemeral flavours! Good to know: macaroons are made without butter or cream, just with marzipan and fruit. What we also like is the warm and friendly welcome.

Established in 1999 in Bénodet, the biscuit factory offers direct sales but also opens its workshops to visits, followed by tastings. Large windows give a beautiful view of the workshop. The gesture is precise as much for the Breton palets as for the fine butter cakes, plain or filled Breton cakes or Breton pancakes. All you have to do is choose among these Breton delicacies...

This house is adorned with the statue of Philomène, the dressmaker of this former haberdashery. A true Quimper institution, its reputation is so widespread that it has become a national benchmark. Macaroons are available in morello cherry, chocolate, caramel beurre salé, strawberry tagada, fig, lychee, Grand Marnier or vanilla-nougatine... Pastries, viennoiseries and ice creams are also available. We loved the Fresh Raspberry Macaronade with a light vanilla mousseline.

In the heart of Saint-Malo, treat yourself to a sweet break in this gourmet haven. Artisan chocolate and pastry maker for 30 years, crave for one of their irresistible house specialties: kouign-amann, Breton cakes, far breton or many biscuits, all with Bordier butter and Guérande salt. The Galland chocolate factory also offers a wide range of sweets, chocolates and bars of different origins, liqueurs, ciders and calvados... and other artisanal delights, as well as about forty teas.

Florentine which is made in to black chocolate or milky and blends with orange, lemon, mint, and salted butter caramel or red fruits is the speciality of Michel Chatillon the chocolate maker. Florentines are also organic! The Granite rose or grey chocolates symbolising the Breton coast... and all other homemade chocolate sweets will delight you. You can also buy pancakes, kouign aman and Breton palets with salted butter, etc. A free visit of the factory where these specialities are being produced is also offered. 

The biscuit goes well with a move in 2014 at the exit of the Kerviniou roundabout to allow for new manufacturing tools, including three furnaces. Three confectioners were also hired, and it may not be finished. Know-how and imagination are part of the house's recipes, with about cookies including the famous pucks au. Have a new taste: the crakou, a mixture of crushed hazelnuts giving a crispy galette galette!

A real institution of local life, located in the heart of the city on more than 700^m2, come and meet 32 sedentary traders and 12 local producers, who offer a wide range of fresh products all year round, to be tasted on the spot or to take away, thanks to the chairs and tables installed by the city council at the back of the space. Butchers, cheesemongers, caterers, fishmongers, oyster farmers, market gardeners, scalers, wine merchants, crepe makers, chocolate makers, bread and dairy product vendors, the gourmet heart of the city beats strong under the Halles.

Created in 1989, this Costa Rican factory of madeleines, sanded and palm has a laboratory of more than 2,000 m ² and employs more than 30 employees. Committed to the Breton tradition, the factory favors ingredients from local producers for pure butter biscuits and pastries, with fresh eggs.

Flagship product: the madeleines of Armor. You can buy them in sachet or in a tray of 30 units. At this factory store, you can also enjoy very good prices, opting for them.

Christine and Joël Mochet are based in the Vitréen bocage, renowned for its gastronomy. They offer pork and traditional charcuterie directly from their farm. Born on the La Grande Pialière estate, raised on a 100% natural diet and processed on the spot, the pigs are available for purchase as wholesale or retail products, or in the form of grilled meats, blood sausages, bacon, roasts or pâtés. As for the charcuterie, Christine and Joël prepare it according to old-fashioned recipes, using only fresh products and without colouring agents.

Here you'll find all kinds of local artisanal pastries: kouign-amann, Breton cakes, Breton palets with churned butter and prune fars. In addition to these delicacies, the boutique also offers a cellar of regional spirits, artisanal preserves and decorative objects. Located in the heart of South Finistère, a stone's throw from the sandy beaches, the brewery welcomes the public in a reserved area where the different beers are offered on draught: britt, recognizable among all by its "puffin" bird, but especially its flavor that evokes the strength and freshness of the Finisterian waves, Saint-Erwann, with intense and varied flavors, an organic beer with seven abbey-type cereals, Dremmwel, and Ar-Men, which is not only organic, but has a lot of character and comes in four recipes.

It's a veritable gourmet palace, housed in a grand ^19th-century house with a superb blue shopfront on the banks of the Aven. During a tour of the workshop, you'll see the making of Breton cake, far aux pruneaux, excellent palets and kouign-amann, lichouseries that would be sinful to resist! The market takes place every Tuesday morning. It extends to the Place de l 'Évêché, the square of Guébriant and the place of Parvis. In summer, visitors enjoy a pedestrian extension on the streets of the city center. In mid-August, a lot of animation thanks to the great sell, which attracts the world.

We would deal here with the oldest cider of France led by the fourth generation «Johann». This is, in any case, a great family history begun in 1892, when Joseph (Johann) decided to base at the Field of Fairground near Paimpol Harbour a house of cider, wine and spirits trading in order to supply schooners to Iceland and local businesses. From the beginning, the cider is made on the spot and alongside, on the boats, the wine imported from Bordeaux. Trade lasts until the 1980 s when wine consumption begins to decline. A chance? Established for over 4 years in Roadstead, the winery of Regusse offers the production of a superb vineyard of Provence, which has been awarded numerous awards and medals over the years. You will find here, according to the good advice of the sommelier, red wine, rosé and white from all French regions. Some of them are very large wines and others to discover. The shop also offers champagne and spirits.

The market takes place every Thursday morning on square Aristide Briand and Rue du Lac, from 8 h 30 to 13 h. Many regional food products including bio, clothing, plants, etc. There are exhibitors in winter and twice in summer. In July and August, you will enjoy the presence of musicians who drive the market but also the entire city centre.

This is the oldest cannery in Concarneau and also one of the oldest in Brittany. That's why it is today an integral part of the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the city! Georges Larnicol is the best chocolate pastry chef. He likes designing beans in different forms - rocks, pebbles... and to show it for a unit, in boxes, baskets and even in impressive sculptures! Well beyond south Finistère, is evidenced its many shops scattered throughout France, the delights of Maître Larnicol are not unknown to fans of chocolate delicacies. Close to these, whose flavour fineness can only over joy the most demanding palate, the kouignettes^®. They come in different flavours you could give anything for and capsize the elegant... For 4 generations, La Perle des Grèves has been producing bouchot mussels from Mont-Saint-Michel Bay and flat and hollow oysters from Cancale. Over 30 years of satisfied gourmets with shellfish - cooked on site or live - crab, (crab cake, spider crab), langoustine, scallops and Breton lobster. The store, located between Cancale and Mont-Saint-Michel, delivers seafood platters to homes all over France (orders placed before 1pm and delivered the next day between 8am and 1pm). Excellent.

Just a stone's throw from the Place du Martray, this renowned cellar has been a fixture of the wine scene since 1985, and boasts some 2,500 wine references. Here, you'll find expert advice and the ability to guide you towards small, surprising vintages as well as fine houses. You'll also find whiskies, old rums, armagnacs, cognacs and calvados. Beers have pride of place, with around a hundred references. The grocery section offers a fine range of local products: buckwheat potato chips, caramels, preserves, teas... This distillery is a family farm specializing in the cultivation of cider apple trees. As an extension of this production activity, Nicolas Poirier and his team carefully produce quality products using traditional methods, including fresh and acidulous aperitifs such as the "Little Prince Guillevic". The eaux de vie distilled in their still are aged in oak barrels in their own cellar. The production, labeled organic, is planted with about fifteen Breton bitter, bitter-sweet, sweet or tart varieties.

It's an institution in the Trégor region, found in every bar. This brand of beer is named after the great-grandmother of Bertrand Salomon, the brewery's founder. Handcrafted from organic, local barley, Philomenn comes in red, blonde, stout, peat, white, triple... not to mention the ephemera. To make your choice, visit the brewery, which has taken over former railway workshops on the banks of the Jaudy. The beautifully renovated brick warehouse features a sales and tasting area, with a view of the vats.

Spirulina addicts, kombu lovers or gastronomes curious about iodine flavours: the Algues Armorique company shop is made for you. You can of course buy seaweed in all its forms (dehydrated, powder, paste, culinary preparation, etc.), but the place also wants to be a place of exchanges and discoveries. Activities are regularly offered: presentations, culinary workshops and even walks at low tide, for a session of observation of seaweed in situ.

Installed across from Belz town hall, the Ria cellar renamed Ivre Mer cellar in 2023, opened its doors in July 2017. There is a nice selection of wines but also spirits, cider and local craft beers. The boss is Simon. He welcomes you to his cellar with pleasure and good humor and will bring you, as a passionate connoisseur, his sound advice to find the bottle that will ideally accompany your feast. The cellar serves as a wine bar during the two weekly markets of Belz.

In this very elegant building built in the 19th century, facing the Close-City, more than fifteen shopkeepers offer you the full range of fresh produce, fish, butcher's wares, market produce, florists, cheese and creamery, bakery. The Biocoop in Belz, in its eco-built building, needs no introduction. The store offers a maximum of products from local farms: fruit and vegetables but also a selection of processed products. La Criée - Marché Central has been welcoming shopkeepers since 1923, and now boasts 28. Here you'll find expert culinary advice, fresh produce of the highest quality: fruit, vegetables, farm butter, cheese, fish and meat... As well as delicatessen dishes, groceries, fine breads, wines and even exotic dishes. On the first Sunday of every month, La Criée hosts the Marché à Manger, a Breton-style food market.

Little sister of the Biocoop in Lorient, the 7 Epis shop in Lanester offers nearly 10,000 items, many of which are local products. Three quarters of the fruit and vegetables are grown in the department. You will find excellent organic or wild fish in the fresh section, smoked by hand at the Pointe du Raz (in the neighbouring department). The bulk department has nearly 200 references in cereals, pulses, flours and cakes. A delicatessen area offers all kinds of spices, herbal teas and teas in bulk. The latest addition to the Jus d'Octobre cellars that have been delighting Malouins since 2014, this address opened its doors at the end of 2019, to the delight of epicureans on the banks of the Rance. The cellar offers a fine selection of wines and spirits, all tasted and approved by the team, which delivers sound advice. Its objective is to make you enjoy the complexity and diversity of the world of wine in a welcoming and modern setting. Le Jus d'Octobre continues its journey, favouring wines that respect the environment.

In the Loup Gourmand you enter Brittany greedy. The house is known for its unique choice of Breton beers: more than 150 references from the 60 listed breweries. It was formerly called «The house of the 100 Breton beers». In fact, when you pass the door, you are immediately impressed by the quantity of bottles dividing the walls from the floor to the ceiling. White, blond, elliptical, brown, organic, hops or black wheat, small bottles or large containers, they spoil beginners and connoisseurs, who sometimes come from very far. The house also offers a huge offer of Breton liquor and food specialities at very good prices. In 2016 a website is in gestation to present all this.

The Gorvello cider house is a small family farm of 18 ha, recently organic. Nicolas Poirier elaborates with care and according to artisanal methods quality products, including two ciders from Brittany, the "Tradition" cuvée (IGP Bretagne), acidulous and fruity, and the famous "Guillevic" cuvée, monovarietal, typical of the Vannes region. You will find, here again, two house specialties: "Le petit Guillevic", a blend of monovarietal cider and cider brandy, and "La Fleur de cidre", sweet apple wine. To be tasted without moderation!

At the Benoît family, the cider-making know-how has been perpetuated from father to son for decades. Their multi-awarded production is referenced in many restaurants of the region. Their range includes a dozen kinds of ciders (organic, rosé, flavored...) and some spirits. The cuvée Prestige, aged in oak barrels, offers a cider of a beautiful golden color, which develops aromas of tarte Tatin and caramel in the mouth. The new and spacious store, located on the road between Lamballe and Pléneuf, also offers other local products.

The biscuit factory has been operating in Brittany since 1937 and has always produced top-of-the-range biscuits and cakes. The quality of the biscuits is recognized by the biggest names in the luxury delicatessens that the company has been supplying for over 40 years. The products are classified by categories. Biscuits, cakes and desserts in jars are prepared using traditional methods. Discover the classic churned butter biscuits (plain puck, thin puck, small butter butter, mini-pucks, mini pancakes, shortbread), or candied fruit, honey, prunes and armagnac cakes.

This is probably the largest cellar in Brittany with its 800 m 2 of thematic spaces and discoveries of all kinds. A veritable temple dedicated to Bacchus in an innovative and particularly attractive setting. You will find about 1 500 references of wines, from France or the World, but also from alcohols (from the most classical to atypical) and 80 references of bag in box. The Marché market is held every morning on the church square. It is a food market: Here you will find local products, seasonal vegetables, sometimes organic, poultry, eggs, dairy products, pancakes. In addition, a fair, which extends at the foot of the church in summer, takes place in the city centre on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month. You will find food and crafts, clothing, footwear, hardware. Morgat has a large market on the 1 st, 3rd and 5 ^th Wednesday of the month, from June to September.

The great chef Jean-Daniel Rosa who was five times rewarded at the Quiberon gastronomy competitions, delight his guests with his delicacies. His latest creation is nougat, cooked with Breton honey and chips of salted butter caramel and dried apples in its matzo leaf decorated with Breton ermines. Its bigoudènes truffles - ganache amber flavoured with honey and mead rolled in icing cinnamon sugar are equally very delightful.

If you are looking for a bottle of champagne or fine bubbles, wines of passionate producers, generic names, great wines, wines of the world or spirits, then this address is the one you need. According to the labels approximately 2/3 of the references are stamped in Agriculture bilogique. You will also find essential accessories for a cellar as well as excellent local products. The boss knows his job: He is there to advise you.

The farm has been in existence since 1900 and has seen three generations. Since 1998, Isabelle and Ronan Lamourec have been market gardeners in the village. Plus: pick-your-own on Saturday afternoons from 5pm to 7pm in summer. Organic vegetables sold directly to professionals and individuals and available at the Port-Louis and Lorient station markets and in various local shops. Futé: the couple also organize educational tours and hikes on request, to help visitors learn more about the market gardening profession.

The first oyster farm on the Bélon, the Oyster farms of the Château de Bélon were created in 1864. Since then, these famous oysters with a good taste of hazelnut (due to the mixture of fresh water and sea water) have conquered all palates. Today, the oysters of Bélon, flat or hollow, are always of great quality. Note that the Huitrières have been approved as an oyster farm as part of their "Bienvenue à la ferme" label.

Fromagerie Kérouzine, a cheese-ripening facility, offers some 140 cheeses, depending on the season and ripening: forty or so made from goat's milk (fondant, tight, fresh, ripened...), such as Pouligny saint-pierre (certified AB, the only one in France), saint-nicolas de la Dalmerie (small ingots flavored with thyme), pressed or blue-veined cheeses, bloomy rinds, washed rinds... All cheeses are represented, even the rarest. Bonus: the yellow wine jelly is the perfect accompaniment to a fruity Comté... Ask for our advice: you'll be won over!
