Opened in 2003, in the heart of the maze of the historic district, it is a charming shady patio located in the most arty-fanatic guest house of the neighbourhood. One can stop there at any time to take a break either for the best lemon mint in town, or a salad or a burger such as the eggplant, tomato, cucumber and feta burger. A chance to discover this unique establishment, which pays tribute to the country's heritage and is both an artistic centre and a place to stay. Its interior architecture is typical of the houses in the area.

Welcome to the house of Persian delights on the first floor of this hotel that is a legend! Known and frequented by many Iranian Emirati people, it is the den of quality Iranian dishes: fried aubergines, saffron rice, kebabs... Not forgetting the creamy ice creams. Live music except on Sundays, but keep away from the speakers so as not to leave your hearing. This is an address where you can go to dinner with your eyes closed. The service is attentive and the maitre d' has been there for more than 25 years.

The Milanese company, which is more than a century old, is accompanying the great Giorgio in his Dubai adventure. Smoky cured meats, fresh transalpine cheeses, soft almond sponge cakes, the stalls play the catering card and everyone does their own little gourmet market, also picking from the menu of hot dishes. Unique of its kind in Dubai, all words weighed up, because we're not talking here about an air-conditioned beach-resto with a few tables on the terrace, but a large deck laid out on the beach between the palm trees, naked, in flip-flops. Shimmers is a table in Bermuda shorts, under the palm trees and in the wind, just like you'd find on the beach at Pampelonne with the DJ in front of his turntables. In the evening, we tuck into the sun while smoking a double-apple hookah, watching the lofty profile of the nearby Burj Al Arab on the right and the Pierchic on the left, before enjoying a light dinner.

In the context of a reconstructed souk and knowing that the number one objective is to be able to get the best seats for the fountains and the Burj Khalifa, the Little Wise Guy offers you a selection of the best placed restaurants in the souk. Either on the first floor: on your right, Bice Mare (Italian marine) and the Lebanese restaurant Abdel Wahab. On the first floor, on the right, Sammach (and its fish stalls) and on the left, Meat&Co.

It's difficult to choose the terrace, even though it is open onto the seigniorial swimming pool and the waters of the Palm, when you discover a room so beautiful, shiny, as if enchanted by the silver reflections, the nuptial white! Do according to the weather and your taste of the moment, but make sure you settle in, because the moment will be memorable: the menu is created by the starred chef Yannick Allieno. Let's set off on a trip to Asia, the Arab world and the shores of the Mediterranean. For dessert, you can choose between smoothies, milkshakes and fresh desserts.

This is a nice place where you can mingle with the Emiratis who take over the restaurant at mealtime. On the menu: saloona, a kind of soup with meat, similar to goulash, or the very hearty machboos, a dish made of rice and meat cooked with spices and cooked for a long time at very low temperature. For desserts and without hesitation, take the small fritters called lekeimat covered with date syrup. No alcohol is served in this establishment.

Nolu's is a fusion restaurant created by its happy owner who grew up in the United States and is of Afghan descent. She has succeeded in mixing a healthy and trendy Californian cuisine with revisited Afghan dishes. The result of this palette of flavours delights the taste buds, all the more so as the resolutely relaxed atmosphere plunges visitors into a space far removed from Abu Dhabi. A pretty room and a terrace, offering beautiful views over the water, make it a very good address for lunch.

Several restaurants of international chains follow one another in the Pointe sur la Palm district: Lebanese, Argentinean, Mexican, Asian, fish restaurant... Almost everything is there. We recommend you to stroll in the evening, after 7pm when the fountain show begins. Be careful however with the world which rushes there and it is better to go there during the week if you can, because the traffic jams can be kilometre long. Most of the restaurants offer a terrace with a sea view. The atmosphere is familiar and relaxed. No alcohol.

Located at the end of the Hilton resort's beach, you can dine outside in peace and quiet. The menu focuses on meats of exceptional quality, always grilled to perfection in the traditional Brazilian style. Portions are copious, so it's wise to come almost starving. Vegetarians are advised to move on; carnivores, on the other hand, are sure to enjoy their visit.

This restaurant, although a little expensive, has been one of our favorites for years. It is ideally located on the Corniche and depends on the Saint Régis hotel, but on the other side of the road not far from their beach club. The zen, minimalist and contemporary decoration immediately infuses a feeling of tranquility and softness. On the menu, the fresh fish, the Asian notes of sushi and sashimi of great quality awaken the taste buds. Finally, we appreciate the impeccable service. We prefer the restaurant at lunch time and inside.

The name Suhail comes from a star that the Bedouins used to use to find their way. An excellent steakhouse in the middle of the desert, but you have been warned: the restaurant is expensive! You can feast on creamy, hand-picked meats in the middle of nowhere, in the magical setting of the Qasr Al Sarab hotel, facing the dunes. A good glass of wine from the 120-vintage cellar will give you the ultimate feeling of exclusivity. Not a bad way to get your strength back after a hike through the dunes of the desert of deserts, eh?

This great Pakistani restaurant, is one of the institutions of Dubai and therefore it is always full, especially in the evening. Decoration is simple: plastic tablecloths, paper place mats, and neon light, so it's best to refrain for a romantic dinner in a hushed setting with subdued light. Watch out for the address! Due to its success, Ravi has been copied in recent years and many restaurants with the same name have opened in the city! Try haleem and nihari, traditional Pakistani dishes. A real treat!

A superb restaurant with a panoramic platform from which to admire the al Hajjar mountain range! Located at 1,484 metres, as its name suggests, this high-altitude restaurant is the perfect stopover after a hike in the neighbourhood or after taking the world's longest zip line. Installed on the terrace, a small glass of rosé in the hand, a small gravlax of tuna to be tasted, one contemplates the beauty of a landscape too ignored of the Emirates. A few deckchairs allow you to prolong this delicious interlude! Book the weekend.

The warm ambience creates the ideal atmosphere for a meal for two or with friends. The staff are attentive and helpful. Dishes are prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. We highly recommend the escargots de Bourgogne, the filet de boeuf and the entrecôtes with their homemade sauce. And last but not least, the chocolate fondant is a real treat.

After Wall Street, the bull and bear chose to set up shop in the very heart of DIFC, on the 18th floor of the Waldorf Astoria hotel, with a magnificent view of the Burj Khalifa. The Chef de Cuisine, Luca Domenico Depalo, after spending twelve years in London, was attracted by the Dubai sun. He offers a spicy and creative cuisine full of flavors. We recommend his magical tartar. The beef steaks are famous. The mocktails and cocktails are not lacking in spice! The service is fast and very attentive. In the evening, the atmosphere is light.

One of the nicest places in Bur Dubai to have a coffee, a snack or a lunch. An Italian woman, Ilaria, married to an Emirati, Mohammed Al Mazmi, opened this charming place on the waterfront in the textile souk. The decoration is particularly successful, both inside and outside. Beautiful books that reflect the tradition and heritage of this neighborhood are available inside! As for the menu, it is simple and good with some dishes with Middle Eastern accents and good salads. The ice creams are delicious.

It's the hottest restaurant in Middle Eastern cuisine. The cuisine of Iraq, Turkey, Morocco are in the spotlight and to showcase a superb terrace that awaits you in front of the financial center and the towers of Downtown. You will be comfortably installed on one of the sofas, in the oriental fashion, almost a bivouac in the desert, except for the resolutely occidental music. We recommend the place for an aperitif at sunset time to take a few mezze, a cocktail in one hand and your scented shisha in the other.

This small café is part of the beautiful Al Bait boutique hotel located just behind it. This superb café is located in the old post office of the district and offers a magnificent terrace which benefits from the shade of a magnificent jujube tree (locally called sidr), and just in front of the majilis of the municipality. Filter coffee, Turkish coffee, or just espresso with a sweet... The ice creams are also delicious... everything is there to be in the best possible mood before starting a visit in the historical heart of Sharjah

This is a great fish and seafood restaurant! We like the short circuit, because the products are bought at the market of Dibba every day! We loved the perfect cooking of the seafood, and we enjoyed the warm atmosphere of this restaurant. The Copper Lobster has long been the highest rated restaurant in the area and it is well deserved. For those who don't like fish, the menu offers some delicious meat dishes too. A very nice address to include in your gastronomic escapades.

A little outside Dubai, we take the road to this restaurant as we take the road to the countryside. Indeed, The Farm is an oasis of greenery in the middle of the desert, enjoying a large garden, various water points, and lush vegetation. The atmosphere is resolutely zen and everything is done to make you relax. In the plate arrive beautiful portions elaborated from local and organic products for the most part and it is possible to add or remove ingredients, to make a dish more to one's taste. A gourmet and exotic visit!
