La Bussola is a safe bet. The restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the park and the sea, a fine trattoria, and a giant pizza bar with a straw hut feel on the second floor. On the first floor, you can enjoy pasta or almond ice cream in a more intimate atmosphere, while upstairs, the tables resound and the Italian records twirl. A beautiful address. It is a perfect restaurant for weekends in dolce vita mode. The upstairs terrace is so well ventilated that even when it starts to get hot, it remains pleasant.

This is what we can say about the unreal view that this marvellous terrace offers us: below, the dhows and their coming and going, testimony of a vanished past, and at the bottom, the insolent towers that stand on the whole horizon. The setting is idyllic and the terrace has for horizon the skyline of Dubai downtown and the superb yachts of the Marina of the Bulgari hotel. On the plate side, Italy delights us with its risottos and pasta alla vongole. An ultra-refined place far from the hubbub of Dubai.

In the most fashionable artistic and commercial complex of the square, with its canal, its abrasions and its Ferris wheel, there are several cafés and restaurants where you can play "leapfrog", from the French Gérard to the Italian Mangiare, from the oriental Shababeek to the Indian Biryani Box. And many others, like the delicious Fish Corner, with pleasant terraces. Very good spot for lunch, and for dinner not far from the luminous fountains.
