Italian and French cuisine with a touch of Asia in the heart of Stavanger. Fantastic team, refined cuisine and explosion of flavors. Very nice wine list. The interior decoration has been thought with taste: design furniture and ultra comfort, small flowers on each table, beautiful lighting, some plants near the windows, nice pictures on the walls... and above all, inventive, daring, tasty and very well presented culinary proposals. We feel pampered. Reservation recommended. To be tried without fail!

Lysverket is housed in the town's former electricity factory. The restaurant has succeeded in the risky gamble of combining class and luxury, locality and taste (in food and decoration). An exceptional address that lightens the wallet but warms the taste buds with dishes each more delicious than the last. The chef was awarded his first Michelin star in 2023! The place is committed to local agriculture, notably through their Mat-Tak project. Their 6-course menu allows you to sample a whole range of local produce - a wonderful discovery!

Enhjørningen (Norwegian for "unicorn") is a fish restaurant in the old Hanse district. The building has been recently restored and still has its original 17th century appearance. Here you can enjoy fish specialties, their specialty, but also meat dishes. At lunchtime, there is an all-you-can-eat fish and seafood buffet. Top quality, real and very good, with a breathtaking panoramic view... Book the table by the window!

Café Ni Muser is a café and at the same time an artistic place. Large backyard to enjoy the sunny days over a cup of good coffee in beautiful company. Located right next to the Trondheim Art Museum, the cinema, the theatre and the Nidaros Cathedral, this place is perfect for a break before continuing your sightseeing programme. The menu is varied and the prices remain reasonable for the quality of the products offered. Two pastry chefs take turns to offer all kinds of cakes, pastries and breads.

Don't be afraid to ask for directions - it's not so easy to find! Some say it's the best burger in Oslo! You can come alone, as a couple, with friends or family. The menu is original: sausage burger, fish, vegetarian or classic... If the wait can sometimes be long because the place isn't very big, once the burger is on your plate, you won't regret having waited a few minutes! As for the atmosphere, like most places in Oslo, it's relaxed. Good value for money.

It's a great place for small snacks. There are bagels that Norwegians eat here at lunchtime. There are also many cakes and different kinds of breads to enjoy with a coffee. We have the croissants, the Norwegians have the famous skolebrød, to test if it is not already done. Pronounce skoulebreu by rolling the R if you can, then enjoy! Bread is really part of the daily life of Norwegians at any time of the day.

Olivia is a chain of Italian restaurants in Oslo. The four restaurants are almost identical inside, but our favorite is undoubtedly the one at Aker Brygge. The food is very good, with a wide choice of pizzas (red or white), pastas and antipasti, as well as a fine menu of mixed dishes. As for the service and, above all, the restaurant's location, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the low prices! A good idea for the budget, because as we know in Oslo, it's not always easy to eat for cheap!

An exquisite restaurant hidden in a recess of the street, with a small terrace at the front. This French restaurant offers typical dishes prepared in the greatest tradition, and a wine list selected with particular care. The interior is all stone and wood, and the decoration, made of wine boxes, gives a modern rustic atmosphere. A varied and satisfying choice of starters, main courses and desserts. Also many vegetarian options. An exceptional address.

On the Henningsvaer Feriebrygge marina, this is the best fish restaurant in the Lofoten, with its bar and heated terrace. One of the best restaurants in town in a very cosy old house. Traditional cuisine in a rustic setting, with a large collection of oil lamps. Inventive and international cuisine. The pub part is also very developed and especially for sports and in particular the replay of football matches. A large choice of draught and bottled beers. On match nights, don't expect to have a quiet dinner with your partner!

Although the name of the restaurant does not sound very refined, don't be fooled: this highly gourmet restaurant promises you an unforgettable time with its delicious bacalaos and its breathtaking view of Ålesund. The restaurant has been named Europe's best bacalao restaurant several times! A true fusion cuisine between Portugal and Norway, the results are amazing. You should absolutely choose the tasting menu: the Royal bacalao plate. Otherwise, opt for the klippefisk or the fiskesuppe. Reservation required!

A simple, elegant Norwegian bistro in downtown Trondheim. You'll receive a warm welcome and prompt service. The varied menu combines continental and local cuisine, with a particularly recommended fish soup. The place is busy at lunchtime and in the evening, so book ahead if you don't want to sit down too late. You can also drop in for a drink, perhaps to sample the local beer brewed just a few yards away, Dahls.

Located opposite the ferry terminal, Molo Brew is an address not to be missed! In this large, fully-glazed industrial building, there's something for everyone. Come for a quick bite before catching the next ferry, eat a (delicious!) burger if you're feeling a little (or a lot) hungry, or simply enjoy one of the 25 in-house beers, as Molo Brew is first and foremost a local brewery! Beer lovers are in for a treat: there's something for everyone! At the back of the room, a shuffleboard for players.

This big wooden house from 1870 in the heart of Stryn attracts attention and for good reason, you can guess through the windows a warm and lively atmosphere. The team is very welcoming and smiling, the menu really diversified: salad (rare in Norway!), fish, burgers, focaccia, tacos, pizza, pasta. The fish soup of the day was delicious. Intimate atmosphere and traditional Norwegian interior where tourists and locals mix to have a good time. We recommend it!

One of our favourite places in Kristiansand. Here we are at the crossroads of authenticity, local cuisine, originality and gourmet restaurant. The menu changes according to the seasons and the food. There is something for everyone. You can see the chefs at work in the kitchen which overlooks the dining room. The place is warm and subdued. The dishes are well balanced, super tasty, not too salty and very well presented. Plus, there's wifi if you need to work! That said, you are apparently on holiday! We recommend it!

Located in front of the harbour, the place is divided into several parts, if on the ground floor there is a café serving simple but good food for an average of NOK 115, on the first floor, only in the evening, there is a fish restaurant, Arctandria, with whale and seal steak specialties, but also other more common dishes. After Christmas, the locals come to enjoy Mølja, literally "mixture". It is cooked after returning from cod fishing, with carrots and potatoes. In the same place, right next door, there is a nice cocktail bar.

One of Bergen's best addresses. Colonialen first opened its doors in 2005, before moving to the beautiful Kong Oscars Gate neighborhoods in spring 2014. Since its inception, the restaurant has won rave reviews for its refined cuisine based on local, seasonal produce. Worthy of the great restaurants.
