Located in the middle of a small green park, with other small museums nearby, it is actually four traditional Thai teak houses grouped together by a pretty terrace where you can enjoy a little peace and quiet. Models show the daily life of certain regional ethnic groups, and some handicrafts used for folk or religious events. The museum also has a multimedia room.

"Japanese English Australian & American Thai War Museum", this modest establishment was created by a Thai monk in memory of the prisoners of war who worked on the Japanese construction of the Siam-Burma railway during the last world war. We can see various tools or weapons of the time, maps, some paintings (naive but realistic) and especially interesting photos dating from the construction of the famous bridge of the Kwai River. An authentic and moving exhibition in its simplicity.

This large museum, located in the south of the city, houses many statues of Buddha, but also of Indian deities, Srivijaya or Ayutthaya style. Part of the museum is dedicated to the region, with an exhibition of instruments, tools and other typical objects of Nakhon Si Thammarat, including the famous puppets. Another part of the museum is dedicated to the history of the city's inhabitants: way of life, gastronomy, customs and traditions.

Inscribed on the list of national monuments in 1973, this museum is a must for history lovers. It features religious statues, pottery and ceramics of various kinds, as well as objects dating back to the period of the Srivijaya Empire (7th-14th centuries CE) found in the area, and an exquisite series of Chinese-style furniture and decorations that belonged to the local Na Songkhla dynasty. It is also an opportunity to enter the grounds of this beautiful Sino-Portuguese house built in 1878.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is a large private museum of contemporary art composed of five floors (four dedicated to the permanent collection, the ground floor being reserved for temporary exhibitions), well arranged, clear, and dedicated mainly to the Thaï Sur, i. e. the Thai surrealist movement. The museum shop is focused on "culture", with posters, books (of very good quality for a reasonable price), but also t-shirts, accessories...
