This restaurant is very popular with locals. It occupies a large terrace overlooking Chao Phraya with a pretty view of the Portuguese church, illuminated in the evening. Manfredo, a friendly Italian who speaks perfect French, and his family are in charge of the kitchen. Prices are relatively high, as he cooks with top-quality products imported from Italy, including cheeses (gorgonzola, pecorino, gran padano) and cold meats (Parma ham, mortadella, coppa). Known for its good reputation, it is somewhat outlying to the south of Lake Chong Kham. Downtown restaurant located on a small side street between the lake and the main avenue. Completely renovated in 2021, it now has a very pleasant modern setting with high ceilings. Classic Thai cuisine for the most part: pad thai, morning glory... The food is quite simple but of good quality. Menu available in English. The waiters are smiling and attentive. The only drawback is that the place is a little difficult to find, the street where it is located is close to Ngamta Hotel. Recommended.

The products are fresh and the portions correct. The room, spacious and ventilated, is pleasant. The place is mainly frequented by locals and Asian tourists.

What is obvious when you enter the Mee Gaan is the modernity and cleanliness of the place. High ceiling, with large bay windows, the place gives a feeling of space. You can sit on stools, at a table inside or on the large terrace where you can observe the comings and goings of people. Excellent pizzas, tapas and some Thai dishes are available. As for drinks, cocktails, wines and good espressos. The lounge music is pleasant, without being too loud. A bit of a "bobo" atmosphere, which is different from other Pai establishments.

Chef Gao worked in some of the finest restaurants on the Côte d'Azur before settling in Bophut with his wife. Two types of cuisine are offered: Thai and French, Mediterranean and Provençal. Half-cooked tuna with exotic sauces, fish of the day, porcini ravioli, 7-hour-cooked lamb mice, also very good meat from Australia. Dessert was also top-notch, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream surrounded by a warm doughnut covered in strawberry coulis. A real treat!

Ban Mai is a Phitsanulok institution. Set in a small alleyway, this restaurant in the heart of an old building offers a classic setting that's a little old-fashioned, but nevertheless pleasant. The menu features tasty traditional recipes, with a wide choice of dishes. We particularly liked the red duck curry (gaeng phed ped yang), smooth and delicately spicy, and the fried fish in red sauce (chu chee pla nue deng). Very good desserts too. Service is professional and friendly, and we'll be happy to recommend the best dishes if you're unsure.

This small restaurant on the road, just past Klong Jak Bay, is located on a cliffside and offers a spectacular view of Bamboo Beach. It belongs to the resort of the same name which is not recommendable because it is badly maintained.

The place looks good, with lots of woodwork. The food served is correct, but remains below the expectations of the place. The service, a bit nonchalant, could be improved. The Diamond Cliff remains however an excellent spot to admire the sunset with a drink in hand.

El Gaucho moved from Chaweng to Bophut in 2019: same team, same concept!
