This large wooden structure houses a café-restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere and terrace and a small air-conditioned room on the ground floor dedicated to the coffee section. Excellent Thai cuisine, fine and flavoured. The dishes, both classic and original, are delicately presented. Efficient and friendly service. A recommended place for lunch or dinner, but it is likely that once you try it you will want to go back!

Located in the Jungceylon shopping centre, this restaurant is decorated like a Parisian bistro with a leather bench and a small table, with a Thai touch (photos, paintings, half tuk tuk...). You can also eat at the counter, sitting on stools. The menu is divided between Thai specialities and Western recipes. The dishes are generous, very tasty, and the atmosphere is always very friendly. A good option to eat during your shopping session, or to start your evening. Good alcohol list.

Good chic Italian restaurant located south of the Night Bazaar, at the level where Pracha Samphan Street branches off towards Chang Klan Avenue. Very correct welcome. Giorgio, a very discreet Venetian, offers a wide choice of specialities from his country and prepares his own pasta. Pizzas and other Italian specialities are of course on the menu. As for drinks, there are some Italian wines, Thai beers and the must-have Grappa, Limoncello and Amaretto.

Very pleasant bar-restaurant installed on a corner of the beach, with a very friendly atmosphere. The rustic decoration has a lot of charm. Excellent Thai specialties served with feet in the sand and eyes in the water. Wooden tables and chairs, delicate presentation of the dishes and a smiling team. Get ready to have a good time, because they also serve good cocktails, it will be hard to leave! Warmly recommended.

This chain-owned establishment stands out for several reasons. Firstly, it's located opposite the railway station, ideal for stocking up for your train journey or grabbing a bite to eat on arrival. Secondly, it offers a wide range of snacks in a modern, impeccable setting: small pizzas, croque-monsieur, pastas, cakes, pastries, good croissants... Finally, the drinks on the menu are delicious: coffees, teas and especially cha manao (iced tea with lemon), one of the favorite drinks of young Thais.

An excellent place for those wishing to sample traditional Lanna cuisine, prepared to the highest standards. Very popular with locals, this typical, unpretentious restaurant offers a range of specialties: grilled pork, offal, beef, stuffed chicken, lanna sausages, soups, curries, various nam prik, several recipes for papaya salads (som tam)... The menu is exhaustive, and here dishes are shared between guests, Thai-style! The portions are generous and the flavours authentic. A recommended address.

Finally a small traditional Thai restaurant in Pai! Located at a corner of Walking Street, this local colourful establishment offers dishes at very competitive prices! The classics of Siamese cuisine are present on the menu, from Khao Soi to Pad Thai. The service is nice, you can choose to sit in the open room or in another air-conditioned one. The only drawback is that the portions are a bit small. In the evening, the restaurant is a bit hidden by the Night Market stalls but a raised sign indicates its location. A good plan for the city.

Restaurant located in the southern area of Pattaya, beyond the «hot district» (pedestrian area), right next to the French-speaking Area. The place is rather quiet. The location manager, Jacky, offers different options at reasonable prices. Grills and pizzas.

Right in the city centre, on the left bank of the Phetchaburi River and just next to the Chom Klao bridge, this nice little wooden restaurant with its old-fashioned decoration exudes a certain charm: background music, photos of singers hanging on the walls and a view of the river. Thai specialties at low prices. The proposed rooms have shared bathrooms and look like small cells! For (very) tight budgets only.

View of the bay and boats at anchor. Interesting explanations in various languages, including French, are provided on the menu, setting it apart from other establishments. And the food? Much the same as its neighbors: very fresh seafood, preferably grilled. If there's more than one of you, it's best to order several dishes so you can build up a range of grilled fish and seafood. Dishes requiring more skill are rarely successful.

In the early evening, part of Dechanuchit Street is transformed into a night market where clothes, jewellery, handicrafts and other typical souvenirs are sold and of course many food stalls of all kinds. Many stands offer all kinds of tempting dishes at really competitive prices: khao phat (fried rice), tom yam, grilled chicken, doughnuts, sausages, fried or grilled fish... The best stand is undoubtedly the Moo Sea Food: beautiful presentation, fresh and well-cooked products... A treat!

This restaurant is located near the Kasemsarn Hotel. The setting is pleasant, you can sit in the large white tiled room or on the small terrace. The cuisine, mainly from the east of the country, is excellent and the prices are quite reasonable. Thai customers come here in large numbers. Specialities based on crab with coconut or shrimps. The most courageous can try the massaman curry with chicken and durian! The desserts on crushed ice are very refreshing. One of the best restaurants in town.

Don't miss the Talad Nampu day market, offering local produce, clothing and more. Note that this walking street market also transforms into a night market every Saturday and Sunday evening. A series of trailers set up in the streets offer good, affordable food: noodle soups, seafood fried rice, kebabs, cut-up fruit... A great opportunity to sample local specialties!

The place is atypical, a house with metal sheets and a big wooden surfboard as a panel! The place comes alive in the evenings when it is nice to stop by for a drink. It is modest but nevertheless attractive, located just opposite Residang Guesthouse. Juke box with 1960s rock'n roll (but also CD player!). The chef worked abroad for about fifteen years before setting up on his own, and his know-how is real. Blues, rock and folk musical entertainment every night, starting at 9pm. Perfect to have a good evening!

Restaurant with terrace on the banks of the Wang River. Beautifully decorated entirely in teak. The cuisine is decent, the menu varied and the prices reasonable. You can come just for a drink. For atmosphere, live music orchestrated by Thai bands, in the evening from 8 or 9 pm. The neighboring restaurant, called The River, offers more or less the same services, but with a slightly nicer view.

We fell in love with this small establishment located between the old Chinese market and the Wang River. Housed in a traditional wooden house, this restaurant-bar offers revisited Isaan cuisine. The menu is limited, but the dishes are carefully prepared. The Isaan-style salad with smoked salmon was our favorite. The only drawback is that the dishes are not very copious. The decor is superb, the place very welcoming, warm, almost lounge-like. Special mention must go to the bar, where the subdued lighting is a real eye-catcher.

The menu also includes homemade pasta, as well as a whole range of Thai specialties, such as the classic pad thai. The dining room is simple, well-maintained and pleasant. Service is friendly and smiling. And motorcycle fans can enjoy long conversations with the chef: he's a motorcycle enthusiast! An establishment acclaimed by travelers.

If you are keen on Chinese cuisine, it is the address of circumstance. The restaurant offers specialities typically cantonaises in a pleasant setting: dim sum in particular are excellent!

Modest facility located in the city centre, just opposite Government Savings Bank. The boats is open directly on the central street. A very nice family kitchen and, in particular, the famous Thai pad: Skipped noodles, mixed with eggs, soy and meat (choice) cut into small pieces (sweet sweet taste). This is not the place for a romantic dinner but to get a little hunger, it will be very good! The Internet Point next door.

The hotel has an excellent reputation among its neighbours and competitors. We actually eat very well at really reasonable prices. Thai specialities are tempting. The simple frame offers a unobstructed view on the river.

The restaurant on the ground floor, without reaching the summits of the siamese gastronomy, makes it possible to take a meal near the border crossing. You can observe the outdoor animation from the open room on the avenue. This is the right place. Prices are reasonable. The internet is available on site.

Restaurant located right after the bridge on the left bank on the other side of the road compared to the bus stop at Chiang Mai. Very well located, it offers a unobstructed view over the river. The pier is just opposite.

In the absence of a tempting restaurant in the city centre, this market is really worthwhile. The stands are set up at the end of the afternoon and dismantled around 9pm. So don't be too late: at 10pm, the place is deserted. Many locals come here to shop or eat on the spot: a large choice of local specialities at unbeatable prices. Don't hesitate to taste the honey chicken cooked over a wood fire in a large terracotta jar or the ribs of pigs. Anyway, it's cheap and it's very good.

They also serve alcohols, beers and good cocktails to sip with your feet in the sand while admiring the blue horizon. An unpretentious, simple establishment, which has the advantage of being very pleasant and friendly. In the evening, musicians come regularly to perform live. A good place to spend a good evening without breaking your piggy bank.

Right next to the guesthouse of the same name and the Sinkiat Thani Hotel, this colourful local restaurant is run by a little Thai lady called On. The establishment is split in two, with a restaurant part and another bar opposite, but both serve food. The room is very pleasant, and one eats both traditional Thai specialties and a very successful western cuisine. It's the best place in town.
