The Celtic, a little difficult to find, offers Thai, French and Italian specialties, the menu offers an incredible variety of dishes. For more than a dozen years now in Thailand, Bertrand, an expatriate from Brittany, has always been in a good mood in his restaurant. It is not uncommon for the boss and chef to come to the guests' table to make sure that the meal is going well. Very friendly welcome. The dining room exudes a friendly atmosphere. The setting is nice, you could almost imagine yourself in a Parisian bistro. A la carte, the dishes on offer are mouth-watering. You can find pan-fried foie gras as a starter or in a terrine, Norwegian salmon smoked in a home-made smokehouse, scallops, beef tartar, to name but a few examples. But what we prefer are the fish, here magnified by the chef's paw. Lovers of meat, simmered or grilled, will be delighted. Not to mention the excellent Thai cuisine... The original idea was to allow travellers and other expatriates with a reduced budget to have access to simple but quality French cuisine. The Burgundian fondue and the cheese fondue, more expensive, are on the map.

This restaurant is located at the end of a garden not visible from the access road. It's a little hard to find but your efforts will be rewarded! Subdued lighting and friendly atmosphere. José, the master of the place, ensures a dynamic and smiling welcome. It has become one of the must-see places for French residents and holidaymakers, a meeting and sharing point. Romantic restaurant in a superb setting, a house of Thai and Balinese architectural style, with a small courtyard, in a quiet area. The cuisine is of French inspiration, the meats are excellent (Wagyu beef in particular). This is also the case with oysters, foie gras, or lobster. Of course it's not cheap, but the cuisine is made with noble products of excellent quality. Very nice wine cellar and superb international alcohol list (gin, whisky, vodka, cognac...). Proper attire is required. A real gourmet's address!

Chef Gao worked in some of the finest restaurants on the Côte d'Azur before settling in Bophut with his wife. Two types of cuisine are offered: Thai and French, Mediterranean and Provençal. Half-cooked tuna with exotic sauces, fish of the day, porcini ravioli, 7-hour-cooked lamb mice, also very good meat from Australia. Dessert was also top-notch, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream surrounded by a warm doughnut covered in strawberry coulis. A real treat!

This small restaurant, masterfully managed by Frank, is a great success. The tables are set in a large open terrace or in an air-conditioned room. Didine's menu offers very good French dishes (salmon tartar, duck with orange sauce, Chateaubriand steak, etc.) but also pizzas and Thai dishes, prepared fresh from the market. And for the gourmets, very good desserts. The menu is varied. Good choice of wines to accompany your dinner. Nice welcome and service.
