AL PORTO
Read moreLocated in front of the port, a restaurant where fish and seafood are king. Chef Andrea's mission is to sublimate his products without distorting their taste qualities by using too many condiments and side dishes. Culinary minimalism, one might say, but make no mistake about it: the dishes are sought-after, the presentation is very elegant. On the menu, there are several proposals both raw and cooked (tartars and sashimis of fish and shellfish, seafood platters), pasta and risottos, grilled fish with Cervia salt, etc.
LA BARACCA
Read moreThis restaurant is located inside a former 18th century oratory, in a green setting. The large room under the frame, decorated with old objects, gives off a warm and slightly old-fashioned atmosphere. The cuisine is based on fish and seafood with guaranteed freshness. The dishes are very simple - it would be a sin to denature these quality products by an excess of primer! A must try, risotto all'anguilla. Even if the place is a little hard to find, it's worth the detour.

Its strong point is a cuisine that favours fish and shellfish caught off the Amalfi coast, as well as products grown in the restaurant's own vegetable garden.

Warm welcome and authentic family atmosphere.

Simply delicious, week staff is in small care.

It is copious, very warm and appreciated by the locals.
L’ANTICO BORGO
Read moreA good restaurant specialising in the flavours of the sea. A direction that may seem incongruous in view of the mountainous environment, but the magic of Calabria lies precisely in the fact that the sea is never far away: Morano is located about forty kilometers from the sea, whether on the Ionian or the Tyrrhenian side! Also, the fish and seafood dishes are of high quality, with perfect cooking, successful associations of flavours and refined presentations. A must try: the salmon and liquorice risotto.
TRABOCCO PUNTA ROCCIOSA
Read moreThe initiative to open a restaurant on the platform of a trabocco, this fisherman cabin on stilts, could only arouse interest. Fortunately, the originality of the site does not reduce it to a attrape address. The fixed menu, which varies according to the fishing of the day, consists of antipasti, first, secondo and dessert, all cooked precisely and nicely presented. As the place is small, you can dine in peace and enjoy the spectacle of the sunset on the coast of Trabocchi.

ANTICHI SAPORI
Read moreThe fish under all its bones and in all sauces! As everywhere in Trapani but with a special mention, fish couscous is a great classic here. This (very touristy) restaurant offers a considerable choice of sea antipasti but also dishes based on grilled fish or fried seafood. The service is certainly a little long, but the quality justifies it. And then the room is not unpleasant, one would think one was in a mountain chalet with pine chairs and benches, red gingham cushions and panelling on the wall... confusing!

The fish and seafood are guaranteed to be fresh. Modern and slightly cold setting. Professional service and good wine selection.
MARGAZZILLO
Read moreThe young Claudio, descending from a family of renowned restaurateurs in the region for many years, manages this popular seafood restaurant from local people. They are pressurized every night, with a hint to make full iodine. The framework is not the most authentic: A modern building with large windows and aseptised decoration, reflecting, perhaps, the impeccable freshness of the products. And we have to recognize that they are very well cooked and developed. You are recommended to opt for the antipasti assortment at 30 €, consisting of 20 services offering a gradation of the baked bats (from raw to cooked) with very interesting textures and flavors, all in a fully controlled kitchen. Too bad the service is as cold as the frame…

Don't hesitate to let yourself be guided by the suggestions of the day, depending on the return from fishing.

LA GARITTA
Read moreNo room for hesitation! A must during your passage or stay on the island of Capraia. La Garitta is an excellent fish restaurant, just as much appreciated for its pleasant terrace with sea view as for the exquisite courtesy of the owners (who have been running this address for over twenty years). The local fish dishes are really delicious: from the simplest, such as acciughe alla povera (marinated anchovies), to the most unexpected, such as linguine with seafood carbonara style. And the port of call becomes gourmet!

There are no good restaurants in Giglio, don't hesitate to go to Amerigo, owner of the place.

Also worth trying: morzello di baccalà, a dish inspired by a traditional Catanzaro recipe, but in which the tripe and giblets have been replaced by cod, slowly simmered with tomato and chili. Delicious!

Philosophy: a simple cuisine with little elaboration to enhance the raw material and its freshness, combining it with seasonal vegetables and fruits, such as mushrooms or truffles. Compliments, a real delight! An address to try.

Starters include octopus salad, Catalan-style red mullet, burrida, mussels, crabs and more. Grilled fish is a must, as are fregola and risotto. NORD OVEST
Read moreShip's bow, old iron tuna cans, a skeleton dressed as a pirate and a shark hanging from the ceiling... you'd think you were in a pirate lair! It's a tavern that Hemingway wouldn't have denied, and with good reason: here, the owner cooks, and you can enjoy his "variations on tuna". Not forgetting the tuna couscous, as Pietro reminds us! Heartfelt, generous cuisine, just like the staff. The terrace, overlooking the harbour, is another driftwood setting. Last but not least, this is where you'll find the best pizzas on the island. We love it!
ALTAMAREA
Read more"It was a small bar when it was born in 1957," says Stefano, who has been running the place since 2003, half a century later... Altamarea is S'Archittu's must-visit restaurant. Three modestly sized dining rooms, one of which has its feet in the water. The atmosphere is family-friendly, simple and straightforward, much like Stefano's own image. The food is delicious and fine, and the prices are very reasonable for the location. The pizzas are also an excellent choice, as are the local wines. We love to sit under the straw hut, facing the Grande Bleue... Contemplative!
SA CORTE
Read moreAntonio, the son of a farmer and proud of his origins, created Sa Corte in 2005 to share with customers the products from his father's farm (cheese, charcuterie, fruit, vegetables and honey). Almost 20 years later, it's arguably the best restaurant in Santa Lucia. From appetizer to dessert, there are so many surprises! Our favorite is the radicchio semi freddo. The locals will tell you that they come here for the fish. We love the intimate interior with its exposed stonework, fireplace and reeded ceiling.
I DUE FRATELLI

A family history for generations and a fishermen's cooperative that runs a restaurant. Installed on the terrace facing the small port, you will taste fish of a rare quality, kilometer zero as we say in Sardinia, ultra fresh and local. The service is attentive and the owners are very friendly. We like the atmosphere of the sea front of Sant'Antioco, like a little air of Ile de Ré...

You'll only taste fish from the Cabras and Marceddi fisheries on the west coast. One of the restaurant's specialties is fried whole octopus, and Le Futé recommends the antipasti mix as a starter. The interior decor features objects brought in from the sea or washed up on the beach. A fine address.

We like the terrace in the pedestrian street and the atmosphere at the end of the day. Our favorite is the octopus which, in this restaurant, is cooked in a thousand ways according to the chef's mood. Everything is extra fresh and we love it.
