A gourmet table in a carefully laid out setting and à la carte exclusively dedicated to fish, run by the same family for three generations. The freshness of the products, from the Ionian Sea, is guaranteed. The traditional recipes are spiced up with a few creative touches and the plates, carefully prepared, offer a colourful palette. Everything is good, from raw and cooked seafood antipasti to spaghetti with vongole, and swordfish cooked at low temperature and accompanied by caponata. With the added bonus of a cordial welcome and attentive service.

Ristorante storico di Taranto con una cucina a base di pesce ricercata ma non al punto da snaturare la semplicità dei piatti. Matera prima ottima cucinata impeccabilmente. Personale gentile e attento. Locale moderno sobrio ma accogliente. Ho mangiato proprio cone desideravo pensando ad una bella cena a base di pesce.

We actually had a quick lunch at Al Gatto Rosso on a saturday. We didn2t have a reservation but they had availability. It wasn't spectacular but we really enjoyed the dishes we had.

Based on our experience with the service and the fodo we had, we would totally come back and recommend.

Overrated restaurant. Both the service staff and the food do not meet the expectations of a restaurant listed in the Michelin Guide. Price-performance ratio is not right.
