In this small restaurant frequented by the people of the island, one tastes a traditional local cuisine based on local products. We particularly liked the fresh pasta from the house, and the rabbit with a typical sweet and sour sauce from the Aeolian Islands, a real delight. The service is fast and the setting, with paintings by local artists and ceramics, is particularly warm.

This is an excellent Chinese restaurant, which proclaims the first gay friendly restaurant in the capital. On this point, doubts are allowed, on the other hand, in the kitchen, that is a great yes! The map is extremely varied, from crispy duck to seasoned shrimps, through a multitude of doughnuts and other tasty nems. Plus, the service is excellent and attentive. Go with your eyes closed.

Located in the old town, at the foot of Castello Monforte, this family-run restaurant serves traditional Molisane cuisine (try the pizza e minestra!). The address is well known in Campobasso and, for good reason, the room is pretty and the quality-price ratio is excellent! As a bonus, the dishes are copious and the service is fast. You will taste here the regional family cooking, the one that is served on Sunday at lunch time. A sure value!

In addition to the traditional pizzas, the hotel is truly proud of Neapolitan cuisine. On 2 levels, murals at an extra cost in the lower room, you get very well with a cheap menu.

A real little favourite for this trattoria in the Spanish districts. Via Roma, the vico della Tofa, you go up will be welcomed by the owner. Here, the sober and elegant is combined with delicious cuisine, at low prices and the generous portions. Keep a little space for a glass of limoncello.

Simple cuisine, rustic surroundings, Rusticana is a classic restaurant on the seafront. Mario, the emblematic patron, does not miss any service and keeps the grain with the sharpened eye of a service eagle. Situated on a small alley near the Duomo, La Pergola has always been a family establishment: it offers a simple but quality regional cuisine. Delicious homemade pasta and local meats. In addition to a warm interior room coloured in green and yellow, this trattoria has a veranda (winter garden) and a small covered courtyard for eating in the sun. The service is fast and courteous. Ask for advice if you can't choose from the regional wine list! Good value for money.

If you like fine wine, this restaurant is for you. The menu is particularly neat and offers almost all the wines of the peninsula. A bar is on the ground floor and the restaurant on the first floor is located on a terrace protected by a pergola. The welcome is friendly and the outstanding quality of the dishes (fish fresh and is prepared with skill). We recommend Greco di Tufo, dry white that accompanies fish perfectly.

One of the best tables in Cosenza, ideal for discovering local Calabrian products. Among the culinary specialties of the Aeolian Islands, you will find antipasti della casa, involtini di pesce (fish rolls) or totani ripieni (stuffed squid). Their pizzas are among the best on the island. Specialities: Tavoletta (three types of pizza in one) and Cannolo (cannolo-shaped) pizzas. There is no lack of choice and the welcome is very friendly. A sure value!

An institution on the island. Managed by a whole family from Lampedusa, this restaurant founded in 1983 is very friendly. No à la carte menu. The dishes, mainly fish-based, follow the inspirations of the day and the arrivals and are all on the slate. A festival of seafood, fish divinely prepared in the local fashion.
