Warm welcome and joyful atmosphere in this cantina room, located in a beautiful vaulted ceiling. On the menu, quality regional products with excellent cheese trays and meats, and good meat. But also traditional dishes, that the chef with from the kitchen open in the room, and that he sometimes revisits some discrete notes, playing on the balance of flavours, with a variant of the pasta cacio e pepe nuanced by the addition of lemon, for example. The hotel is also a wine bar with a good selection of Abruzzo wines, all for excellent value for money.

We came in when they opened at 730pm on a Sunday night, late March. No reservation is needed. (The night before, Saturday, we couldn't get in before 900pm). Our server was delightful; we learned some Italian with her little bit of English teaching us. There is no English on the menu. We tried a gnocchi dish with sausage and saffron that was incredible. And 6 good pork medallions in a montepulciano reduction. Wine by the glass was very good and inexpensive. Nice decor and music. We had a lot of fun and ate very well.
