Local atmosphere guaranteed in this restaurant located in the heart of Halki and perhaps one of the best tables on the island of Naxos. The setting is idyllic, under the climbing vine arbour, directly on the small square in the heart of the village, a stone's throw from all the pretty shops and galleries. The menu is not bad either with its spanakopites (spinach pies) and Naxos sausage spestofaï. Attention: the restaurant is taken by storm by Greek families and it is often necessary to arrive before 7:30 pm to have a table without a reservation.

This is the oldest tavern in the small village of Myrtos. Its owners run the hotel, also the oldest in the village. This is one of our favourites in Delphi. A restaurant in an exceptional setting, with the sea of olive trees stretching as far as the eye can see below the terrace... We recommend the stuffed pepper or the delicious stuffed vine leaves. If you spend time in Delphi in winter, you may have the chance to taste game specialities from the surrounding mountains, such as wild boar, the famous betrayed soup or stuffed cabbage leaves. To vary, he also prepares good pizzas but it is better to stick to the dishes of traditional cuisine.

Akrogiali is the oldest tavern in the Kato Zakros region. Founded in 1898, it was taken over in 1991 by Nikos and his wife Tania. Since then they have been offering Cretan meals based on local products (meat, cheese, vegetables) and good fish and shellfish. At 5 meters from the beach, almost with your feet in the water, you will taste at the Akrogiali (which means "at the end of the sea") good dishes carefully prepared. The owner, Nikos, speaks French. He also owns the Athena and Coral residences where you can stay.

To Spitiko is a way of saying "like at home", at Patricia's, a French expatriate in Paros after a crush on the Cyclades. The creator of this small haven of peace provides the service while, behind the stoves, her husband is passionate about cooking traditional recipes, thanks to the products gleaned from their local and organic producers as much as possible. The place is very pleasant and the cuisine delicious to enjoy in summer on the terrace with sea view (and sunset!) and in winter in a room with fireplace.

One of the best restaurants in Lindos, it sprawls over three floors, but you won't be disappointed by the climb once you reach the top: the view of the Acropolis is memorable. Preferably go there at dusk and enjoy the panorama from the rooftop. The dishes are not disappointing either: we recommend that you share with several of the mezzedes. They are excellent, copious and more economical. The atmosphere at Stephany's Taverna is relaxed and friendly. Favour the place to spend a warm evening with a view.
