Sofia is a Cretan tavern of very high quality. Tourists based in the village use it as a canteen, as the prices are reasonable and the quality is high. The tavern also offers hearty breakfasts, with hot toast and coffee in the morning. Fruit juices are exclusively fresh! Excellent service and a pleasant location, just above the small beach with a staircase leading up to the tavern. Take the opportunity to ask about the botanical walks offered by the owner's sister-in-law.

Comment ne pas être satisfait de la gentillesse de Sofia, Yiorgos, des deux fils tellement gentils, de la nourriture délicieuse. Cela fait plusieurs années que nous séjournons pour environ 4 à 5 jours à chaque vacances dans des chambres très simples et très propres, loin très loin des hotels "all inclusive" et c'est un bonheur. Ici on mange Crétois car nous sommes en Crète. Si vous voulez du cappuccino c'est en Italie qu'il faut aller. Si vous voulez des crêpes allez en Bretagne????. Merci encore et à bientôt.

Ottima taverna cibo e cortesia

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte in questa tipica taverna con alcune camere al piano superiore. Ambiente ruspante e senza fronzoli, che ci ha ricordato la vecchia Grecia di un tempo, ma con le modernità di oggi (WiFi, bagno privato e aria condizionata). Già che c'eravamo abbiamo provato anche la cucina della casa, dai solidi sapori tradizionali: vitello al pomodoro, dolmades e saganaki, più vino rosso. Tutto ok, compresa la gentilezza dello staff e il buon rapporto qualità prezzo. In più Mochlos è un paesino romantico e assai gradevole.
