The wood panelling, the shelves, the herbal and potion jars are still there, as well as the counter. It is the medication that has changed. No Belgian beers here, only cocktails of all kinds, from the classics to some very strange ones that seem to have come straight out of an alchemist's old book! Nice initiative, but a note that can quickly go up in the towers.

Very nice to watch soccer games and sip a good brown Guiness in this typical Irish pub. To make matters worse, it offers concerts every Friday and Saturday night (covers by a local band...). All the sporting events are broadcasted on the 12 screens and followed by numerous regulars. The pub offers 9 types of draught beers and more than 50 whiskeys. The Porte Noire's medieval vaulted cellars were once used as a ^16th-century convent kitchen. Now one of the very best havens for beer and whisky lovers, there's a wide selection, including a dozen on draught. The emphasis is on small-scale craft beers rather than their mass-market commercial counterparts. Live music every other Thursday night from 10pm (except in summer) and other jam sessions. The bar also celebrates St. Patrick's Day, dear to the Irish and all those who love their beverages.

Its name does not refer to any eye problem... or stomach problem, but to a one-litre glass designed for beer (although the less adventurous can fill it with mineral water). The H 2 O is the discotheque not to be missed if you pass the French-Belgian border! For years Muriel and his daughter Rylia have been looking after you to spend unforgettable nights in a cosmopolitan place with two halls where the watchwords are diversity and openness to all trends. On Friday the "white room" greets electro-ready with Fred Hush and Beat Ben, while the "hand room" is designed for pure techno addicts, mixed with Ghost and Danny C. both rooms are still crowded. Saturday is more the fashion with a more mature clientele where everything seems to be allowed. The "hand room" is worn on the electro and the house of Chris with the players while the "white room" develops a happier style with the funky-house sounds of Johan and Cimaï. Always at the tip of musical trends, in an atmosphere of madness midway between the gentle decadence and chic class, with a motivated staff, the H 2 O remains one of the pillars of a successful night of clubbing around Lille (barely 20 min). In addition to the evenings with DJ's residents, many international DJ's are regularly invited to the most original themes. A significant and significant feature all year round: a drink of alcohol purchased, a drink of alcohol offered! Only negative aspect: a little too dark in the "hand room" can rebuter some.

An artist's island in the heart of Kortrijk put on research and artistic creation to find the animation that reigned in the area in the s. This idea, born of the perspective of "Lille 2004" in artistic and cultural development, is the work of Kurt Vanbelleghem, the conductor and artistic director of this beautiful initiative. Le Coq is this little café near the Bourse that has the look of a village bar. In the great tradition of the stamcafés (these popular cafés where you come as you are to be quiet, to meet friends or to make new ones), Le Coq with its old counter, its tired benches and its wooden furniture welcomes you with open arms. With more than 300 beers (kegs or bottles), Barnabeer is the bistro in the centre of Namur with the widest range of beers. More than 50 Belgian breweries are represented, which is almost a record. The Palais des Beaux-Arts, also known as BOZAR, is a cultural landmark in Brussels. This multidisciplinary space, designed by architect Victor Horta, hosts a wide variety of artistic events, including concerts, visual arts exhibitions, theatrical performances, dance shows, literary readings, film screenings and lectures on architecture. The Palais des Beaux-Arts covers an area of 8,000 m² and attracts over a million visitors a year.

Welcome to the coffee house run by Ken, the barista and owner. It's a bit like the trendy café of Oostduinkerke. The decor is all white walls, wooden tables, blue-green velvet chairs and antiques... a little Scandinavian, but with marine touches reminiscent of its location in a seaside resort. Atop a bookcase, a pair of Ken dolls watch over customers who come in for a very good coffee, breakfast, toast or bagel. Enough to fill your stomach before heading to the beach at the end of the avenue.
