The vaulted medieval cellars of the Porte Noire were used for the kitchen of a 16th century convent. Now, it is one of the very good refuges for beer and whisky lovers. There is a wide choice including a dozen on draught. The emphasis is on smaller-scale craft beers rather than their mass-market commercial counterparts. Live music every Thursday evening from 22:00 (except in the summer) and jam sessions at other times. The bar also celebrates Saint-Patrick's Day (March 17th) very appreciated by Irish people and those who like their beverages.
