AU VIEUX BOURG
Read moreA mecca for Verviers' gastronomy, the menu remains a must with grilled meats (over a wood fire), real calf's head or other regional dishes and game in season. Also noteworthy are the excellent dumplings of the chef (who was awarded the Boulette d'Or in a previous establishment) and other local specialities. The atmosphere is that of a relaxed bistro-brewery, where the staff is friendly and efficient. A beautiful classic masterfully managed by Daniel Tsoutzidis and his wife Virginie Bordawé.

NOÏ
Read moreNoï has taken up residence in an old carpenter's workshop. The address isn't easy to find: GPS mode on mandatory (yellow house with a big "Noï" sign, that should help). The setting is typical and original. But in fine weather, one of the most beautiful terraces in the area is open to diners. On the plate, classic chicken, pork, beef or shellfish dishes are enhanced by local curries, ginger, sweet and sour or sautéed vegetables, and served efficiently. We warn the novice with little pictograms that sting more and more.
PLAY BOUZOUKI
Read moreLocated just outside Anderlecht, Play Bouzouki is a hybrid concept: it's a Greek restaurant, a grill restaurant and a scaling bench all in one! So there's something for everyone. On the Greek side, you can find mezze, moussaka or small bones; on the grill side, lamb is in pole position (the meats are cooked on a Josper, THE compèt' grill) and on the sea side, fish (sole meunière), shellfish and crustaceans compete for the menu. And we finish with a good Greek pastry from Tolis, their own catering service at the same address.
SOURCES DU LIBAN
Read moreAldar offers a menu of typical specialties, tasty dishes that magnify this sunny cuisine. You can choose to eat in, take away or have delivered falafels, mezzés, tabboulehs, eggplant caviar... not forgetting the indispensable vine leaves and a host of curiosities with more confidential but excessively tasty names. Lebanese cuisine is one of the best in the world! So are their wines... and this little address in Fort Jaco boasts some fine specimens. And it's open 7 days a week!
LA SUCRERIE
Read moreRestaurant at the Hotel Van der Valk. The preserved setting of this former sugar factory is original, spacious and comfortable. At lunchtime, the buffet opens its doors, and on Sundays, it transforms into a sumptuous brunch. Even if you're not a hotel guest, you can still enjoy a hearty breakfast here. Other advantages include a lovely summer terrace and an attractive cocktail bar.

Read moreLunapontina's cuisine is mostly inspired by Lazio and recalls life in the small villages of the region, between sea and mountains. A cuisine of specialties that changes almost every day, promoted by Cinzia and Astrid, mother and daughter with certified origins. The menu pays homage to fish dishes like there and we will also mention the tagliere of cold meats, scialatielli, tonnarelli... In the glass, the best of the small local wine growers. In the dining room, smiles and the unfeigned pleasure of welcoming in an inimitable Italian style!

FRITERIE CHEZ CLÉMENTINE
Read moreServed in cones (better, say the purists!) or in packets, but always in generous quantities, the chips of Clem' are to be enjoyed on the "terrace" offered by the place Saint-Job. Nice service, at any time of the day or night, but not always very fast... Clem' (Clémentine) is none other than the daughter of the founder of the famous Antoine's house and her chip shop is self-certified with an "eco-responsible" label, which is applied to all the production stages. For those who are grumpy, this does not change the taste of the fries!
