The oldest café in Bruges offers simple and generous cuisine in an authentic Flemish setting. A must!
Dating back to 1515, this is the oldest café in Bruges, and its antique Flemish furnishings recall the atmosphere of bygone days. You have to dare to push open the door in this little street a little off the center of town. It serves beers, of course, but also snacks such as croque-monsieur, spaghetti and specialties like "roulades de chicon au jambon". The food is simple but tasty. However, prices are quite high for this type of restaurant. If you can, take advantage of the vast indoor garden: a real pleasure!

For those who are looking for authenticity and impressed places of local history. Good beers although the choice is limited. Snacks at moderate prices. Possibility to eat in a small courtyard and very pleasant garden interior weather permitting. Outdoor toilets (unpleasant when it rains!) - Hotel closed sunday afternoon, mondays and tuesdays.
