A very well located restaurant, on the peninsula at the exit of the pedestrian bridge, which offers a very pleasant traditional Finnish cuisine! In the winter you can sit comfortably in the cosy interior room with its wooden style and in the summer you can enjoy a beautiful sunny terrace. On the kitchen side, the chef uses only Finnish meat and fish, to guarantee maximum freshness and favour short circuits. As for the vegetables, they come from the surrounding farms. Very good value for money.

A restaurant installed in a kind of big traditional chalet. The decoration is typical but a bit busy: wooden tables and chairs, bear skins, a dark and decorated ceiling... Fortunately the food is delicious and you can eat all the Lappish specialities: reindeer, elk and even roast bear, which is rare because the hunting of the animal is subject to quotas. The salmon is particularly delicious! Good welcome and smiling service. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is good.

This gastronomic restaurant with sea view is by far the best in Naantali! Its menu is composed of fresh local products from the sea and prepared with care. You will love their delicious fish soup, smoked reindeer dishes or fish with crayfish stew... The chanterelle risotto is excellent, just like the rest. Be careful though, sometimes the service can be quite long. The plus: some dishes are gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian. Nice wine list to go with it all.

A Sri Lankan specialty restaurant in Naantali? Some would say it's a crazy idea, given the richness of the local gastronomic heritage. And yet, the Red Lobster has managed to make a name for itself and a loyal clientele since it opened. It has to be said that, with the quality of its cuisine and the (welcome) revival of its spicy dishes, the gamble paid off! At lunchtime, for example, there's a very hearty €11 menu (with main course, salad, rice, naan and coffee). A great place to take your mind off things!

Far from being just a pizzeria, Cup and Pint is more of a bar-bistro where people like to get together to share a (delicious) pizza, have a drink or enjoy one of the many entertainments offered by the bosses. Be warned: the place fills up very quickly, and service can be a tad long (but that's part of the charm of the place)!

The restaurant room, in the style of American-style dinners, is pleasant, has a children's play corner and the pub is in its extension with a selection of Finnish beers

For fans of Finnish history and the national hero Mannerheim, this place is a must! Arrival begins with a visit to the log-built hunting lodge, originally built in Eastern Karelia. Eating at Marksin Maja means total immersion in Finnish traditions and military rules. You'll earn your meal after a lengthy introduction to Mannerheim's special table rules, such as not getting up from the table before coffee, or not drinking without the chef's permission.

We fell in love with this high quality address. In a bohemian and intimate setting, the simple but original cuisine combines European recipes (Russian pelmeni with chanterelles in beetroot broth, French-style artichokes, black pudding with apples, mussels...) with perfectly selected natural and organic wines. The service is competent and pleasant. Don't skip the bread and butter, they're to die for. This discreet and unobtrusive sign is ideal for taking your new conquest along as well as for dinner with friends.

Chalupa has brought Mexico to Helsinki. This colorful cantina, which is part of a small local chain, serves tacos and burritos that are (almost) as good as in Los Angeles, but with a Nordic twist - a faint scent of cinnamon seems to waft over the fillings... A brand-new address in Mariehamn that has been very well received by the locals: Me Gusta Burgers. Ideally located on the town's main street, this small restaurant (with an upstairs dining room and terrace) offers fine burgers at very reasonable prices. Whether you choose the halloumi, blue cheese or crispy goat's cheese variant (yes, yes) - and don't hesitate to get some sweet potato fries with it - it's a treat! In short, with smiling service, we simply love it (and recommend it, of course).

A good twenty kilometers north of Marienhamn, this is an address you need to know to go there (but saves many people, including hungry cyclists). Here, you can enjoy pastries, but also (and above all) tasty pizzas, cooked by the family in the back room. The decor is as old-fashioned as it is charming - you'd almost think you were in a London tearoom. Locals flock here as connoisseurs, and the crowd is divided between the dining room and the huge terrace. An ideal stopover during a day's travel!

In keeping with the seasons, the chef chooses to cook Baltic salmon, fresh catches of the day and succulent mussels marinière. There are also house specialties which, in summer, revolve around shrimp! An address with attentive, smiling service that makes for a wonderful evening!
