For fans of Finnish history and the national hero Mannerheim, this place is a must! Arrival begins with a visit to the log-built hunting lodge, originally built in Eastern Karelia. Eating at Marksin Maja means total immersion in Finnish traditions and military rules. You'll earn your meal after a lengthy introduction to Mannerheim's special table rules, such as not getting up from the table before coffee, or not drinking without the chef's permission.

Opening time and information on MARKSIN MAJA

The museum area is open in summer, from Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 5pm. Admission 4 € per adult and 1 € per child. Restaurant under reservation, as well as collective sauna.
