Built in a former psychiatric hospital in 1912, the restaurant is now 10 years old, and already boasts an impressive roster of regulars. Recipes revolve around fresh fish, home-grown and seasonal vegetables, all accompanied by a good selection of wines, as well as beers and ciders from the in-house brewery. Some B&B rooms upstairs.

Smoked reindeer is the main dish here, but we recommend the whitefish from Lake Inarijavi, which is both crisp and tender.
