The Pays du Vignoble Nantais is a traditional region of Brittany, located in the southeast of Loire-Atlantique, bordering Maine-et-Loire to the east and Vendée to the south. It comprises 28 communes and a population of around 135,000.

Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire is a commune delegated by Brissac Loire Aubance, located between vineyards and hillsides. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, this small town offers a remarkable panorama of the Loire Valley from the Parc du Mont Rude. With its 1,400 inhabitants, Saint-Saturnin-sur-Loire is dynamic and attractive, with a community crèche, two schools, shops and a rich community and cultural life. The commune also has an interesting feature, being both the highest and lowest point of Brissac Loire Aubance. Mazé is more than just a village in Anjou. Mazé is the cradle of the fort of Fort and Emile Joulain, a rural storyteller and poet, two pillars of Jordanian culture.

Lantuscia, as it was called in the 12th century, perched on a promontory just above the Vésubie river, is probably inadvertently placed at the junction of several tectonic plates.
