Quelle déception!!! Ou est donc le musée d autrefois avec ses motos, sa cuisine flamande, ses uniformes, les artilleries.... Et les reuzes ? Enfermés dans un placard sous prétexte qu'il fallait de la place pour une expo de tableaux certes très beaux. Ce musée à perdu toute son identité , son charme et son authenticité . Les jardins!!! Quels jardins? Ah !! ce morceau de terrain broussailleux .. Passez votre chemin , et allez boire une bonne bière au café d ´en face..

Museum re-opened after an exemplary renovation.
Housed in the Noble Courtyard with Cassel, beautiful building that is worth visiting. From the garden of the museum, the view of the Flemish plain is exceptional.
This museum highlights the rich cultural identity and artistic of Flanders.
It is a " Must" for visitors to north/pas de calais region.
In this remarkable moment exhibition " Sensuality and Volupté" , which features the female body painting in the 16th and 17th centuries.
