Whether you're a novice or an experienced sailor, young or old, there's no place more open to your passion for water sports (and no better location either!) than the Coutainville Sailing Club. The club offers a wide range of water sports, including catamaran sailing, windsurfing, and sand yachting, all of which are available for hire or private tuition. Our favourites include stand-up paddling and water walking!

It is one of the largest and most frequented beaches by young people and families in summer, who easily extend the swim with an improvised picnic on the lawns punctuated by clumps of trees to preserve themselves from a sun that would become too untimely. The sand and gravel bay allows children to walk several meters and its rocky peninsula attracts those who wish to swim more quietly in the distance.

Thonon-les-Bains has received the France Nautical Station label. Rated 4 stars, for the quality of its activities on Lake Geneva and the rivers: sports, cruises, discovery of the heritage and various nautical animations. The marina of Rives welcomes 740 boats for annual rental and keeps 58 places for visitors. Nearby, the municipal beach. The natural beaches of the Pinède and the Châtaigneraie de Rovorée, downstream; the fishing port upstream.

If, like many visitors, you find yourself in this part of the Ardèche on a scorching hot summer's day, you'll be delighted to find the coolness of this landscaped lake. In a very natural setting on the banks of the Saliouse and Eyieux rivers, it offers a sandy beach, numerous activities for the whole family, a waterslide and a picnic area. It is located just opposite the town's campsite. Supervised swimming in summer.

With a surface area of 177 ha, this lake offers a beach with swimming, a water slide and a water sports club. You can also rent rowing boats and pedal boats at the Cabanon, and there are good fishing spots for carp on 9.5 km of shoreline. To know the authorized fishing spots, contact the Fishing Federation. The area around the lake also offers hiking and mountain bike trails. You can also go water skiing (from 7 years old), to which you have to add the rental of the wakeboard (or wakeskate), and the wetsuit.

This lake is located between Coëx and Saint-Révérend. A place that the fishermen know well since it is authorized to fishing. This lake of 37 hectares was created for the irrigation of the cultures and the Golf of Coex. The compacted clay dam, built on the Gué-Gorand stream, has created a water reservoir covering more than 25 hectares. A footpath allows you to walk around the reservoir by crossing the dam. You can see a very old chestnut tree with two trunks. The circuit of the lake of Gué-Gorand (12,9 km, approximately 3h30 of walk).

This 127-hectare reservoir extends over 5 communes: Sigournais, Monsireigne, Bazoges-en-Pareds and Tallud-Sainte-Gemme, offering hikers numerous trailheads, particularly on the La Morlière site. It is the largest water reservoir in the Grand Lay Valley. Set in a landscape of grassy or rocky hillsides, it is home to a colony of migrating ducks in the fall. As for leisure activities, nature lovers will be delighted: fishing (all white fish, pike-perch, pike-perch, carp), swimming, children's games, picnic tables.

This 55 hectare reservoir stretches along the river Lay with a succession of valleys and ends at the reservoir of the Angle Guignard dam. Along the lake, there are walking paths. The path along the lake allows you to reach the village of Fuiteau with its washhouse. On the leisure programme: swimming and fishing (with a pontoon for disabled people between Moulin Neuf and Touchegray), and canoeing (canoes for hire for 1 to 3 people), picnic area.

Between meadows and forests, Belmont-de-la-Loire invites you into the heart of its beautiful hills. The leisure center, with its campsite and gîtes, welcomes you to a green and peaceful setting. On site you'll find a variety of activities for the whole family: playground, hiking trails, boules, paddling pool, fishing, trails around the lake, pony rides, picnic areas with barbecues... For sports enthusiasts, there's a climbing wall, mountain bike hire, tennis court, volleyball court, basketball court, ping-pong table, soccer pitch and fitness trail. Watch out, you'll love it!

Created in 1973, this vast park of hectares within a loop of the Saône is designed as a real leisure base that creates the attraction of families and hikers. Pleasure of eyes with the arboretum and the rose rose, calm, between green area and banks of Saône, pleasure of play with space for children, pleasures of sport with golf, health course and many other sports facilities. A pedestrian journey, for a contrainte ride (or almost, dogs must be kept in leash), in the light of your curiosity and preferences.

Surrounded by the Orléans forest, this 70-hectare pond was originally a reservoir for the Orléans canal. It is now a place for walks and leisure activities, with areas reserved for swimming and others for navigation (canoeing, kayaking, etc.). Two hiking trails have been developed: the sensory path of Carnutes and the Bois Bézards which goes around the pond and goes to the lookout Caillettes, the highest point of the forest of Orleans. The pond Combreux finds its counterpart with the pond of Bois, located in Vieilles-Maisons.

The leisure center covers 27 hectares, more than half of which are occupied by the water. Numerous sports and outdoor activities are possible: walks, fishing, volleyball, ping-pong, petanque ground, sailing school, archery. It is also possible to rent all the necessary equipment such as windsurfing, optimist sailboat, dinghy, catamaran, pedal boat, mountain bike, canoe. There are children's games and a picnic area.

In the commune of La Tremblade, the Centre Nautique Charline Picon offers a unique sailing experience. With a vast, sheltered stretch of water facing the Ile d'Oléron, visitors can enjoy sailing in complete safety, whatever their level. The center offers courses, private lessons and rentals of Optimist, catamaran, windsurf, stand-up paddle, kayak and WingFoil. This multi-purpose complex revolves around a 250-hectare artificial pond that regulates the level of the Sarre canal. It owes its nickname of Lac Vert (Green Lake) to its wooded setting and the reflection of the trees in the water. On the land side, you can play tennis, soccer, basketball and archery, among other activities, thanks to the many facilities on offer and an indoor multi-sport complex, and even relax on the landscaped beach. On the beach side, you'll find a wide range of services, including children's play areas, a beach volleyball court, restaurants, an ice-cream parlour, a relaxation area and a summer stage for entertainment and concerts, all worthy of a real seaside resort. On the lake side, there's a wealth of activities including sailing, water-skiing, canoeing, catamaraning, paddle-boating and even an inflatable structure on the water to delight children. Swimming is supervised in summer. Numerous events take place on the site, including the Triathlon and other summer activities. The leisure park also offers a full range of accommodation for campers, motor-home users, families (chalets) and groups/holiday camps, thanks to the Centre Nature et Sport, equipped with group accommodation and qualified staff to welcome children. The nautical center of Soeix extends over several hectares and proposes to all the sportsmen, amateurs or confirmed, of many activities of white water: the rafting, the canoe hot-dog or the hydrospeed, in the day, in weekend or in week. With more than 200 kilometers of navigable rivers around Oloron, the team of the nautical center assures you sliding outings full of adventures and this, from the discovery to the descent. The latter are done on the gaves of Aspe, Ossau, Saison and Oloron within a radius of 50 km. On the site, there is a base at the water's edge with parking, a picnic area and a comfortable changing room with hot shower. A great sporting idea!

A beautiful beach on the Lake Aiguebelette with many activities. Boat rental with pedals with slides, canoes, electric boats, boats and water games including large diving board of 3 m. A beach where you can exercise physically excluding with beach volleyball. Shade for the white skins and babies, solarium for those who want to have pretty colours. The new: a premium space with deckchairs and parasols for children (from 3 to 12 years old), access to boats (Le Mississippi).

Close to the port, the beach at Aiguebelette-le-Lac is a small oasis with lifeguard surveillance during the summer season, and a picnic area. This stretch of sand also offers a variety of water sports equipment and boats for hire. Open from April onwards, it offers an early taste of summer, allowing visitors to savor the surrounding landscape. The lake is distinguished by its unique turquoise-blue color, offering a soothing visual spectacle.

The base of Prés Prés extends in total over 120 ha. It comprises a lake of 44 hectares of land, suitable for all water amusement, river port and many facilities. Lovers of walks especially appreciate the network of roads, one of which is entirely surrounding the lake - a 40 minute walk! In passing, a visit to the ornithological park where 200 migratory or resident bird species coexist with the possibility of interfering in their privacy from observatories. A beach for tanning and a multitude of activities planned for the day to pass without realising: mini-golf, educational farm and children's village, pedal boats, boat walks with a guide, a tour of smugglers - a game with a gift at the end, a walk and a go train. Fishing, on the other hand, is strictly prohibited, but it is very rare to get bored on the edge of the largest inland water centre in France.

In this leisure base, you can take a tour in pedal boats, throw his line in the water, drink a glass on the bank or eat a pizza at L'Olivier, before going enflammer the dance trail. The "Tropico" is the name of the disco, open on Friday and Saturday, installed on the edge of this water plan (Friday night free for girls and € 5 for boys, Saturday evening 10 € with a consumption and 15 € with three drinks).

These two ponds, fed by the Bief des Quatre Moulins, are located to the south of the town. Surrounded by greenery, including vast grassy areas, it's a popular place for families to stroll, with plenty of games for children and a mini-golf course. From mid-July, the town council is installing an inflatable sports field where you can play beach soccer, beach volleyball and sandball, in other words, beach soccer, volleyball and handball. Pets are welcome.

This 14-hectare lake is a popular summer destination. An area is reserved for swimming, and it's possible to sail on a dinghy, canoe, kayak, windsurfer or paddleboard, as well as dive. Fishing is permitted on the banks. There are also multi-sports fields, sand games, a skatepark, fitness trail, archery range, orienteering course and children's playground. La Gèmerie is the starting point for jogging, hiking and mountain-biking trails.

Between town and ocean, the Vieux-Boucau marine lake is one of the resort's main attractions. Fed by the ocean according to the tides, you can swim, canoe or paddle around its islet. Enjoy the pleasant 4.7 km-long promenade, easily accessible on foot or by bike, from Vieux-Boucau town center or from the Soustons Plage parking lot. A fun trail to discover the marine lake has also recently been laid out.

10 minutes from Thermal and close to Monestiés, this recreation base is dedicated to outdoor activities: sailing, quad, horse riding, rowing… Many hiking paths are also available. And for contemplative, the activities of discovery of the fauna and flora, and aquatic activities around the lake, remain. Swimming is permitted and monitored on the bank of Almayrac in July and August.

The Louis GO water sports base is located in an exceptional and particularly protected setting, in the middle of the steep cliffs of the Roquebrune rock. This municipal water sports base for canoeing and paddle boarding is supervised by state instructors, a real plus. Different formulas for renting canoes and kayaks and paddle boards are available, but it is advisable to book 3 or 4 days in advance. The only requirement for this type of activity is that you know how to swim! A shaded picnic area is at your disposal.

The communal lake of La Loge is one of the best places to swim in a quiet environment. The lake is appreciated by both swimmers and fishermen. The pretty grassy beach and the facilities along the lake make the place ideal for a nap or a picnic, encouraging us to go and dip our feet in. It is bordered by the campsite Les Marins. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake is home to trout, tench and carp. In fine weather, fishing is prohibited at the beach. The fishing card is sold at the restaurant Le Bruges.

A must-see leisure base in the Montagne Bourbonnaise, with water sports activities such as paddling, canoeing and pedal-boating. And land-based activities: waterbike, bicycle, electric mountain bike and pedal go-kart. Fishing pontoons with barbecues are also available. Interpretation trail along the lake with information panels on local flora and fauna. Picnic area, toilets. Snack-bar-restaurant, 24-hour service on the large wooden terrace. Hot and cold drinks, ice creams, salads, grills and fish & chips.

In a majestic setting of unspoilt nature, come and swim in Europe's largest biological bath! In Beaujolais Vert, it's not just the air that's pure. The water in the Lac des Sapins biological bath, perfectly integrated into its environment, is totally pure thanks to a plant biofiltration system. An 8,000^m2 bathing area, bordered by a 16,000^m2 grassy beach, where everything is designed for the comfort and well-being of the maximum 2,500 daily visitors. Swimming shorts and smoking prohibited. A refreshing paradise.

With the arrival of fine weather, Lac de Tignes is transformed into a veritable summer haven. Skis and snowboards give way to exciting and safe water sports. Why not opt for a paddleboard session, gliding over the waters of Tignes against a mountain backdrop while feeling the gentle caress of the sun on your skin? Surrounded by 25 hectares of pure water, the lake offers the ideal setting for relaxing with family and friends. Let yourself be lulled by the surrounding calm, or immerse yourself in the many water sports available.

The Centron leisure park is an ideal place for families to relax, offering a wide range of activities. In addition to its lake, playgrounds and green areas with barbecues, the base de loisirs is the starting point for a wide range of adventures. You can take to the Isère and Doron de Bozel rivers, with activities such as rafting, hydrospeed and stand-up paddle. During the summer, two special bases dedicated to these sports are available.

Lac des Hurtières is a haven of peace in a majestic mountain setting, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. This alpine lake invites you to swim in the summer months, while the surrounding trails are ideal for hiking, offering exceptional mountain panoramas. For fishing enthusiasts, the lake is a prime spot, rich in fish. Families also appreciate the picnic areas, perfect for relaxing afternoons by the water.

We know Flumet, a village perched at an altitude of 900 m, for its resort of Flumet-Saint-Nicolas-la-Chapelle, but perhaps a little less for its lake which is equipped for swimming during the summer. You can enjoy a relaxing day in a green setting and take advantage of the sports facilities and games for children at the Arrondine leisure area. The leisure centre even has its own highlight in summer with the water festival during the^third week of July: entertainment, games and music are in full swing (ask at the tourist office).

Between the waters of the Bourget lake and the mountains, it is on the northern bank that you can discover new panoramas, where nature is wilder... A touch of romanticism for some, in the wake of Alphonse de Lamartine who stayed in Aix-les-Bains for a while, in any case, calm and sweetness for others.. For the more sporty, rentals are available on site, whether for boating with or without a license, pedal boats, or other rowing activities. The restaurant Ô Lac serves fresh and delicious food.

Les Mottets beach is a real gem, popular with locals and visitors alike. Its modern facilities and well-designed amenities make it an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway or a pleasant stroll. Visitors can take part in regular educational workshops to learn more about this fascinating species. The site is also ideal for a convivial picnic or barbecue, in an enchanting setting where nature reigns supreme.

From Saint-Amans, you take the D999 towards Ribennes and after a few kilometers, you reach the Colagne valley, on which an artificial dam has created a small lake. On its beach, a refreshment stand installs its tables and parasols, rents canoes, pedal boats and mountain bikes. Games (swings and slides) keep the children busy while the parents relax. The experienced fisherman will look for some quiet spots to catch trout. In season, the beach is supervised by a lifeguard.

On Lake Sames, 30 km east of Bayonne, you will find on this 13-hectare lake, a 220-metre cable at the end of which is attached a rudder, a wetsuit, a helmet, a wakeboard... The water ski lift is an ideal aquatic activity for water sports enthusiasts! Unique sensations guaranteed! While the body is slowly being pulled, the board gently takes its place on the water. A few seconds to tame the tension of the ski lift line and the first sensations will appear. Also, water skiing, kneeboard, wakeboard, etc..

The artificial lake is big enough. It is surrounded by vineyards and pine with a sandy beach. Swimming is monitored there in July and August. The grade 2 grade lake is open all year for fishing (summer, permitted until 10 h). We play volleyball, football, tennis, basketball, bowls… And the little ones have their playground. It is also the starting point for beautiful family walks. Picnic or landing at the Cahute, the restaurant-grill-glacier that organizes theme evenings all summer long.

The club run by Julien and Caroline, two ex-champions of windsurfing, is one of the must-see spots in the sport. Located on the Goulet spot, it attracts professional riders and amateurs looking for equipment and training. The duo rents out windsurf and paddle equipment, organizes courses, hosts events during the summer season and puts two skateboard ramps at your disposal. At the Wesh Center Crew, you can also eat a delicious burger or have a drink, while enjoying a breathtaking view of the pond. A great spot!

This green space offers various activities: fishing pond, pony rides, tree climbing, mini-golf, outdoor laser game, merry-go-round and trampoline, animal village. You can also eat at the restaurant Le Caméléon. This natural leisure center also attracts visitors for its organic swimming area, the only one north of Paris. The water is treated with biofilters and plants. The park offers 5 free orientation courses, 2 of which are for children. Very well maintained, this place offers a pleasant setting for your family walks.

La Ballastière is a water body located near Bischeim. It offers a green setting, walkers and swimmers like to get together, to relax on long sunny days. On the programme: swimming of course, in water whose quality is regularly monitored, sunbathing on the beach with small stones or grass, but also sports and leisure activities. Because on summer afternoons (except weekends), agents organize activities. Barbecues are available. A holiday atmosphere accessible without a budget.

Located right next to the supervised beach at the Laives lakes, the Aqua fun park has been delighting tourists and locals alike since summer 2022. This course of inflatable water games, which can be accessed with a life jacket, lets you let off steam for one or two hours. Spanning some 1,000^m2, the course features a number of modules: slides, a blob jump, a jumping tower, etc. For adults and children alike, there's plenty of fun to be had. A great family activity at the heart of a nautical base with a wide range of activities.

7 km from Rhône, an area of 24 hectares with a beautiful lake surrounded by many species where you can practice swimming, canoeing, pedal boats, windsurfing, beach volleyball. There are also picnic tables, children's games and fishing opportunities or walking around the lake. Originality of the site: the leisure base is located around the ruins of the ancient medieval abbey of Noah, which still remains majestic remains. Off-season, the lake remains freely accessible. Nestled at the bottom of a glacial valley, Sewen has more than one particularity in its lake! This peat bog is the only natural lake in Alsace that has not been modified by man. A Natura 2000 area with an exceptional environment, it is full of protected species. Morning fishermen say they regularly see beavers. And for botany enthusiasts, endemic species such as sphagnum moss and droséras populate the environment. Attention! The peat is spreading and the lake is closing! It is therefore important to avoid going off the marked trails. A stroll along this magnificent lake will allow you to enjoy its calm before arriving at the foot of the impressive Lake Alfeld dam.

Situated on the Bourdon lake, between Saint-Fargeau and Moutiers, this famous leisure centre offers, in addition to accommodation (chalets, dormitories, tents), a wide range of activities: kayaking, canoeing, paddle, windsurfing, archery, mountain biking, orienteering, beach volleyball, etc. Cultural activities are also on the agenda with numerous workshops for children. But you can also simply enjoy the beaches along the lake and its restaurant area.
