Only 10 minutes from the town of Carmaux, the Lac de la Roucarié is a spot that is worth a visit. With its 35 hectares of water and its partly wooded banks, the lake offers visitors a green and exotic setting. Developed as a leisure centre, many activities are offered such as a fitness trail, games for children, sailing, rowing ... Note that swimming is allowed and supervised on the bank of Almayrac in summer.
