KODOKAN PARIS 15 SECTION JUDO

Combat sports and martial arts

Judo is the other side of the Kodokan Paris 15… and may be as famous as the aikido section. Bruno Louis has a double hat of president and teacher (black belt 6 th dan). 130 members are taking part in its courses to follow a classical lesson, that recognised by the French Judo Federation (F.F.J.) but which has the particularity of remaining open to other methods, always in éveil. In this sense, whether it's to practice traditional judo, leisure judo or competition, everything has been studied so that every member finds shoe in his feet. As part of the competition, the club participates in all those set by the League of Paris and the French Championship. The training, for its part, leaves an important place for the randoris, because nothing is worth the practice! Internships are also organized during the year. If you add to this a real atmosphere, this club certainly deserves a detour.

They bring together small groups of 10 to 15 children: 5-6 years, 7-11 years and 11-15 years. Judokan 9 is affiliated with the French Judo Federation, so teaching is rather classical and focused on the fundamentals of judo, which does not prevent the club from presenting its chicks and minimal at the championships of Ile-de-France. After heating in the form of games, the technical bases are discussed and then worked alone or to two in combinations. Small battles traditionally complete the meetings. A charming small neighborhood club is expected to double or triple its staff with the arrival of the big ones.

If you are looking for a small, friendly and family-friendly club, it should suit you. It actually brings together a dozen members and is only asking for enlargement. AÏKIDO SÈVRES

Combat sports and martial arts
4.2/5

Open - Close to 21h30

Around 1915, O'Senseï Morihei Ueshiba, inspired by several martial arts martial techniques blending his philosophical principles, created aikido. It is this sport, bringing together combat and self-defence, that Patrice Audren, a graduate teacher of the LFS-ISTA and volunteer president of the new Sèvres club, proposes here. Aikido learns to use the adversary's strength to return it to its own advantage. It is the other, which by its difference makes the wrestler progress through the development of concentration and coordination of body movements in space. Gradually mastering stress and aggression, it is a good way to resume or reinforce self-confidence. A thick kimono or a survêtement is the duty to shoulder to participate. The first course is free.

SHAOLIN MON

Combat sports and martial arts

The Shaolin Mon Association, chaired by Philippe Saint-Solieux, has been in existence since 1974 and has benefited for over 40 years from the experience of four teachers all masters of their discipline. Here, the 80 adherents follow the so-called Jisey do method, an energy path midway between taï-chi-chuan and qi gong. The two-hour courses take place at the Vaugirard Littré gymnasium (6 th) on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and are structured in two parts. The first part, close to qi gong, therefore mainly energy, begins with breath work and respiration, the first step of progressive meditation. The second part, closer to taï-chi-chuan, involves exercises in broad gestures to facilitate the movement of energy and the work of chakras. Martial martial applications come at the end of the course to give you the essential foundations of self defence. Friday is reserved for an energy dance course whose aim is to learn through different exercises to know his body for, sitting in session, to reach a real liberation, what to liberate from the stress of Parisian life. To achieve these goals, it is advisable to make two trainings per week and to continue daily the lessons learned.
