This small, friendly and friendly club created in 1978 at Patrick Tamburini's initiative and led by Jean-Luc Plum (black belt 5 th dan) is located in the heart of the 16 th arrondissement and enjoys an exceptional setting. Its 150 m 2 dojo and its infrastructure allow it to host its hundred members (25 children and 75 adults) under the best conditions. The club, approved youth and sport and affiliated with the French Federation of Karate (INIESTA), is strongly oriented towards training and the transmission of knowledge. It dispense traditional shotokan karate, the most practiced branch of karate on the planet. Here you will be working in used, kihon, combat or self defence. Four teachers, all black belts, rotate for the courses. If the clientele is male majority (70% per cent men, 30% per cent women), the trend seems to be reversed in recent years, thanks in particular to the self-defence part which attracts more and more women. Finally note that the club organizes courses during the year by inviting a different master each time in the practice of this martial art.
