THÉÂTRE DU NORD - LILLE
Read moreThe Theatre du Nord is a privileged place for culture with its repertoire parts in Lille, and its contemporary creation in Tourcoing. Housed in the prestigious Grand'Garde building of Louis XV, this theatre offers a beautiful overview of the spirit "subsidized public theatre": if he is able to show demanding and successful creations (Calderón, Houellebecq…), he also displays more popular shows, concerts and creations for a younger audience he proposes to play in schools and even on public square to show that theatre is done by everyone and for all. But the theatre of the North is also a nice bookstore that works in partnership with the no less beautiful bookshop Lille Le Bateau Livre, and a cafe now held by the Peek team in Boo. Theatre in the North? A beautiful address, both cultural and greedy!

Sitting around the tables as in the bistro or setting along the walls, spectators (one hundred more) take place and necessarily talk to each other. Here we cultivate the love of words, music, bloody polar or rock history. Totally atypical like the beginnings of shows announced at 19 h 23 sharp: after, we close the doors to respect the actors and the comfort of the visitors.
