Since 1980, the Italian Comedy has been established in a former commissariat. A nearby boutique has been attached to expand the entrance hall. This room of a hundred seats exclusively from the pieces of Italian, Classical and Contemporary authors, many of which have never been presented in France. He is a specialist in the Commedia dell'arte, who founded the Teatrino Italiano from Montparnasse in 1974 on rue du Maine. Pantomimes, texts by Ovid, Goldoni, Machiavelli, Casanova, Malaparte, Gramci, Pavese or Pasolini were mounted here in French. In addition, a school of Italian commedia issues courses and organizes courses in this unique place.
