It is a bit like the Montpellier equivalent of the Splendid and it does not demerit from its Parisian "ancestor". Kawa is a theatre dedicated to humour and it works well! It has taken place in the creative neighborhood Manufacture/Plaine Achille, in a building with sober and simple architecture valuing the existing. With two rooms, Comedy is aimed at all audiences with programming to families and children. It develops a touring policy in some neighborhoods of Stéphanois and in the countryside.

The theater was built on the foundations of a former prison and inaugurated in 1935 by Sacha Guitry, who premiered his play La Fin du monde, created for the occasion. The work was financed by Georges Leygues, a politician born in Villeneuve-sur-Lot. He used his personal fortune. He died in 1933, never to see the work completed. The Théâtre des Pénitents is located in the city centre, on the site of the former Chapelle des Pénitents. Renovated in 2003, this 230-seat theatre, classified as a Historic Monument, hosts many shows with a focus on music, theatre and circus arts. It is also a space of expression for the city's many cultural associations. More recently, the Théâtre des Pénitents has obtained regional recognition with the Scène Rhône-Alpes label. The composer Jacques Offenbach is the pere of this very lovely dining area to Italian. Les Bouffes Parisiens are initially installed in 1855 in Carré Marigny, on the Fields-Élysées. One year later, they migrate towards passage Choiseul. Offenbach creates Orphée with the hells there, before yielding its theater in 1862 to its orchestra conductor, Louis Varney. This one made shave the room to build some another, equipped with thousand hundred places. At the bottom of a paved courtyard, this former multi-year stable has a small theatre of 72 places. The Green Donkey is the place of residence of the Naphralytep Company and the place of programming of the coréalisés shows by the Âne Oreilles Association (OrAne).

As the Theatre of the City, of which it is the second room since 1996, the Theatre des Abbesses offers a high quality programme. Although eclectic, he is very rich in plays. The National Scene The Theatre took place in 2012 in the old station of Saint-Nazaire, located in the City-Port district. In the Haussmann style, it was built here in 1857 because passengers from Paris could win the maritime station at 100 metres on foot, to sail on the ships and earn South America. Damaged but not destroyed during the war, it remains in service until 1955, the year of inauguration of the new SNCF station. In 1978, the city acquired the remaining buildings. After many years of abandonment and several years of successive work, she is fully rehabilitated and becomes the starting point for attending beautiful shows: theatre, dance, music, song, circus, performance… The entrance takes place by the arcades. The requalifiée nave is accessible from the arcades and from the northern parking lot.

Théâtre de verdure, théâtre de plein air... marin, the Théâtre Silvain faces the sea, tucked away behind the Vallon des Auffes. The Zingaro Equestrian Theatre has existed since 1989. Zingaro's shows combine equestrian theater, dance, world music, poetry and many other artistic disciplines. All of these are invitations to travel and vectors of universal emotions. The fort of Aubervilliers is a unique place, built to be a full member of the show. Made entirely of wood, this tent stands out from the surrounding urban décor. Built in 1913 for King Edward VII of England, one of the great lovers of Belle Époque Parisian life, this was the theatre where Sacha Guitry premiered many of his plays during the 1920s. With a history spanning several centuries, over 20 years ago, the theatre underwent major renovations, after which Jean-Michel Ribes became its director. His aim is to reconcile pleasure and culture by performing texts by living authors. He multiplies quality shows by mixing genres and styles in the rooms of this dynamic establishment: Renaud-Barrault - seven hundred and sixty seats -, Jean-Tardieu - one hundred and seventy seats - and Roland-Topor - eighty-six seats -, in tiers.

The adventure of the New Theatre began in 1827. He had three successive addresses before settling in this 590-seat room inaugurated in 1921. It is one of the temples of the light show: There was a lot of music and a lot of music. The brand new Maillon, which will open in 2019, includes two large rooms, one of which has 700 seats, administrative premises, logistics areas, but also reception areas with a bar restaurant and an inner courtyard. The Italian architect Umberto Napolitano included open and modular spaces to preserve the spirit of the past. The room itself is already a show. Trained in Italian, with about 800 places, it shines a thousand éclats. The th century atmosphere dominates and enchants. It is a jewel in a historic area. The Royal Palace, where it is located, began to be built by the will of the Cardinal of Richelieu. He then called himself the Cardinal Palace. The theatre was built in 1784 in this area, which became property of Philippe d'Orléans. The architect is Victor Louis, who expands the room in 1791. From September to June, Théâtre + Cinéma offers a program of theater, dance, music, circus, for young audiences... and the programming of art and experimental cinema. Théâtre + Cinéma's mission is to disseminate the various currents of current artistic vitality, to support creation and artistic education. Les Comptoirs, a bar and light food area, is open every day (except Monday), before and after shows and before movie screenings.

Le Lucernaire was founded in 1968 by actors, authors, and directors Christian Le Guillochet and Luce Berthommé, and in 1984 was awarded the label of "Centre National d'Art et Essai". Then, variety theatre and share the poster: Do and Valley, Jean-Roger Caussimon, Luis Rego, Le Père Noël is a refuse, by Beautiful... The large actors passed by all the Gaîté since: Catherine Rich, Pierre Arditi, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Fanny Ardant, Niels Arestrup...

The Splendid left the Beaubourg district in 1981 to set up in a former showroom, taking the name of Splendid Saint Martin. Built in 1896, Les Fantasies Saint-Martin merges songs and theatre. In 1907 they became the casino Saint Martin, a café concert where the young Mistinguett and Maurice Chevalier pass. Like many places of show, the place is transformed into cinema after the First World War. Until the day when actors who had had a splendid success on the big screens returned to animate his boards. Appearing on stage in 1973, the Splendid troupe had previously set up rue d'Odessa, then rue des Lombards. Its members: Josiane Saxo, Marie-Anne Chazel, Claire Magnin, Michel Blanc, Christian Keyboard, Gérard Jugnot, Thierry Lhermitte, Bruno Moynot and Christian Spillemaecker. Even though the group quickly broke after its arrival in this room - 300 places - at least on stage, they set the tone for programming. It was played in the Splendid of St. Martin: Grandpa makes resistance, as well as Night of intoxication and the Ex-woman of my life from Saxo. Many comics have gone through it: Jango Edwards, Michel Boujenah, Elie et Dieudonné, Les Robins des Bois, Jean-Marie Bigard, Valérie Lemercier… There were also singers Tom November, Sade, the Louis Trio case, Jacques Higelin… The Splendid is, more than ever, a place dedicated to humour.

Lulu has set up shop at Jean Macé. Lulu does us so much good, even more so in these times of "crises" in the plural, with its program of comedies full of madness to share. A colorful, cheerful theater, in the image of Renaud Gairard, the reopened head acrobat who decided to bring these walls back to life with a beautiful 180-seat auditorium and a table to enjoy along with the audience's comments. A place dedicated to comedy and laughter, to revivals of classic texts and to the most unusual creations, can only be salutary at a time when the performing arts need our support. The theater of the Grand-Rond is a small theater with a beautiful popularity in Toulouse. It has to be said that its programming is as dynamic as it is sympathetic, like the team at its head. Just steps from the metro station François-Verdier, visit this small street to attend one of the two shows of the evening. For the originality of this theater is to propose an aperitif from 6:30 p. m., which opens sometimes to music, theater, mime or tales… The show can then start under the best auspices at 9 p. m. As the name suggests, laughter is the watchword at this beautiful purple-hued venue, which seats up to 240 people. The opening acts are regularly café-théâtre and one-man/woman shows. Unlike the smaller theaters in Vieux Nice, the hall is spacious and offers three different categories. This theater often hosts well-known artists and revisits famous plays. Curtain lift for Michel Theater! Or rather "reopening" since this place, founded in 1906 by Michel Mortier, already has more than one story to tell its audience. Bought by Francis Nani, CEO of the Palais du Palais Royal, he began his new life, ready to make discovery, surprise and seduce, particularly with the boulevard comedy that made the reputation of the place. For more than 100 years, laughter has been resounding in this theater of 350 seats! During its existence, Théâtre Michel has never deviated from its original vocation: Entertain the public and highlight new talent. A challenge he is always prepared to face!

Marie-Antoinette was responsible for this hall. Built in 1781, it hosted lyrical performances until 1794. After a few years of neglect, it was reborn as the Théâtre de la Porte-Saint-Martin. Romantic dramas, notably by Dumas and Hugo, were performed here. The theatre burned down during the Paris Commune and was rebuilt in 1873. Cyrano de Bergerac and Chanteclerc were created here. The alternation between classical and contemporary music keeps the place beating.

From its construction in 1925 - architect: Auguste Bluysen - this theatre has preserved an Art-Deco aesthetic. The room, of seven hundred places, is dominated by red and gold - decorator Jacques-Émile Ruhlmann. It presents parts intended for a wide audience. Yvonne Spring, Pierre Fresnay, François Citéa, Francis Perrin, Roland Giraud, Charlotte de Turckheim played. Among the authors who attended their work are Edouard Bourdet, André Roussin, Jean Anouilh, Marcel Achard and Françoise Dorin. The Michodière is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the boulevard theatre.

Throughout the year, the TAM offers a variety of entertainment programming for all audiences: in the poster, many plays, classical or contemporary, but also great names, heart strokes and discoveries of the live show (music of variety, dance, magic, humour), as well as representations to the young public. Renovated in 2006, the TAM is home to up to 850 spectators, and is often complete! A few tables in the foyer will allow you to restore or drink a drink before or after the show. The Grand T (formerly Espace 44 - Maison de la culture de Loire Atlantique) is the departmental council's conventioned stage (879 seats + annex chapel of about 100 seats).
