Offering concerts, theatre, circus, dance and even cinema, the Hippodrome has established itself as a place for artistic creation and distribution. Recently, the Hippodrome has joined forces with the Arras theatre under the Tandem collective. This structure forms the Scène nationale de Douai et d'Arras, de l'Arrageois et du Douaisis. Theatre is improvising at ARTI, so let's leave timidité in the closet and start yourself in the arena. A nice practice, good child, that will allow you to develop your relationship with others, your imagination and your trust in you. Words such as weapons, humour for shield, take part in improvisation games, friendly confrontations between two teams, managed by a coach, who improvise on themes drawn out and invented by the arbitrator. You will only have 20 seconds to think, before you start, with your team, on the playground and build a story, sometimes comic, sometimes dramatic or poetic… The public is invited to participate actively in this show, since each spectator has a multi-dimensional voting card which allows him to designate the team that seems to deserve the point at the end of each improvisation. A chausson, distributed at the entrance, allows him to express his dissatisfaction with the players or the referee, a master of ceremonies to prescribe the show. All on a background of music in a passionate atmosphere.

Taverny's main cultural facility, the Théâtre Madeleine Renaud boasts a vast 487-seat auditorium, an outdoor stage area, three rehearsal studios for artists, a dance studio and two function rooms. Families, teenagers, children's authors... everyone finds their place in this stimulating factory where resident artists experiment and train. The cross-border spirit is also illustrated by fruitful collaborations with Luxembourg, Belgium and Germany. This ambitious facility, the precursor of a new building in 2024, has an impact on the Grand Est region and beyond.

The location is well known: situated in the lower part of the Champs-Elysées, it was the Espace Cardin from 1970 to 2016, then home to the Théâtre de la Ville until 2023, while the latter underwent renovation work. It is now the Théâtre de la Concorde. The aim of this new venue is to be a space for artistic creation, reflection and debate, to question the world today. To achieve this, the infrastructure is not lacking in scope: in addition to the 650-seat auditorium, the venue boasts a 150-seat studio, as well as a film club.

A great success for this completely renovated Italian-style theater dating from 1834, Bayonne's cultural Mecca at the confluence of the Nive and Adour rivers. Created by Sam Harkand & Cie in 2000, this theater is happily developing its specificity: expressionist theater. The Dérézo company was born 15 years ago from the meeting between artists and technicians, most of whom were trained at the ENSATT (Ecole de la rue Blanche). Established in Brest since 2000, it is distinguished by its desire to bring authors, artists, visual artists, sound and light technicians to the same level of creation. The Dérézo company now forms a collective, under the artistic direction of director Charlie Windelschmidt. With numerous creations already to their credit, the members of the company also focus on raising awareness of theatre and street arts. They've reclaimed an old church to make it their bastion of creation.

Maintes et une fois is a clown and puppet theater based in Saint-Étienne, France. Founded in 2003 by Gérald and Marlou, the company offers a variety of workshops and courses focusing on the clowning world. It also stages shows for all audiences, from young audiences to themed shows and street performances. The company also takes part in symposiums and conferences, giving offbeat presentations. Formerly a sensational cinema that had fallen into disrepair, the "camion-théâtre de l'ouest" has been rehabilitated as a travelling auditorium with 80 tiered seats. With its PRM access, all audiences are welcome, starting with children, who always come away amazed. The "camion-théâtre de l'ouest" also hosts film-concerts and more thematic evenings, preceded by a meal at very reasonable prices.

In Valenciennes, theater is a historical tradition, so much so that it was nicknamed "the Athens of the North" until the beginning of the ^20th century! But in 1940, the theater of Valenciennes fell victim to a fire. It is only in 1996 that the work begins to build the Phoenix. In 2018, finally the theater in Valenciennes rises from its ashes (hence its name) and offers us a place in the shape of a huge red liner, with two rooms (750 seats or 170 seats), rehearsal spaces, an exhibition space and a restaurant.

The Bar-le-Duc theater welcomes you to a modern, architecturally unique 400-seat venue considered one of Lorraine's finest stages. The Guignol de la rue Carrand could just as easily draw the curtain following the departure of the Zonzons company - remote by the municipality whose relationship with Guignol still seems problematic… - with whom Guignol and his entire troupe (we must know that the puppets belong to the city…) had spent so many years. Let's say it all go, it wasn't going to happen like that! We are Lyon and Guignol is part of the heritage. Closed in 2022, the "Théâtre des Treize Vents" will reopen in spring 2024 under the impetus of the municipality. The premises have been renamed. Born in the Lot-et-Garonne commune of Coulx and dying at the age of 72 in Villeneuve-sur-Lot on January 25, 2023, Roger Louret was a well-known figure in the world of show business. Founder of the "Baladins en Agenais" theater company, he worked with Muriel Robin, Elie Semoun and Annie Gregorio in their early days, and launched a new generation of young artists (Gabriel Sarrou Vergnac, Baptiste Gonthier). The small theater opened its doors in September 2019 with the aim of bringing together the many improvisation companies, facilitating public access to this discipline and legitimizing it. Since its creation, it has served as a federating distribution space and a resource center for improvisation in the Nantes region. The theater is a convivial space organized around three areas: a bar, designed as a meeting point for Nantes residents, to share good times before shows and do improv again afterwards; a 90 m² auditorium, equipped with sound and light (and a 15 m² stage), seen as a space for discovery and pleasure, where innovative creations are proposed, mainly performed by Nantes-based troupes; and upstairs, the actors' offices and dressing rooms (in other words, the theater's backstage area). In this converted former service station, La Station-Théâtre in La Mézière offers exciting shows. This small 50-seat venue creates an intimate setting for shows that are often new to the region. Located in Reims since 2008, Cie Crocs en Scène is a major venue for live performance, with 300m2 dedicated to the performing arts. There are no fewer than 17 theater, singing and Modern'Jazz workshops, and over 200 members. The annual program features plays and musicals, in partnership with the "Scènes pour Tous" collective.
