Theater

At the beginning of the adventure there is a university theatre troupe organised in the Superior Ecole Normale since 1964 as Theatre 45. In 1986, Jacques Nichet took the direction of the dramatic centre of Montpellier and, in 1998, that of the current national theatre of Toulouse. In 1997 Didier Bezace was named Head of the Commune Theatre of Aubervilliers. Jean-Louis Benoît was called to lead the theatre at La Auction in Marseille in 2002. Julie Brochen continued the history of the Aquarium theatre, which has about five hundred places, and then François Rancillac took his succession in 2009, the latter invited Antoine Caubet to be the artist associated with this place for three years.

Enlarged in 1897, she welcomed artists like the young Maurice Chevalier. The decor, painted by the painter Cup, dates back to 1910. After the First World War, the theatre is a time transformed into cinema, followed by the live show with Berthe Sylva, among others. THÉÂTRE LA BRUYÈRE

Theater

The theatre of three hundred and sixty squares was created in 1943 by two actors, Georges Herbert and Paquita Claude. It's launched when in 1948, Robert Dhéry set up Les Branquignols, a crazy show mixing the insane humour of the Marx Brothers with a typically French drolatique spirit. Coming from the théâtre de la Death, Georges Vitaly took the direction of the room in 1954. Until 1982 he defended his contemporary authors, Jacques Audiberti in the lead. Stephan Meldegg then continues to serve the creators of his time in this theatre. Two notable pieces among others: What Fox, James Saunders, sees as being staged by Laurent Terzieff and Kitchen and Dependencies, Agnès Jaoui and Jean-Pierre Bacri. Have played here in recent years: Rufus, Francis Perrin, Niels Arestrup, Philippe Clay, Philippe Laudenbach, Jean-Jacques Vanier… In 2007, Marguerite Gourgue succeeded Stephan Meldegg.

For 50 years, Théâtre Ouvert in Paris has been a bastion for new stage talent, carrying the flame of an innovative and committed vision. COMEDIE-FRANÇAISE THÉÂTRE DU VIEUX COLOMBIER

Theater

A top place in the history of the Parisian theatre, this room has depended on the Comédie-Française since the 1990 s. In 1913, the theatre of the Old Colombier opened its doors in the old Athenaeum Saint-Germain under Jacques Copeau's leadership. A theorist, director and actor, he leads a troupe that is resolutely determined to renovate drama, in an ascetic spirit - no spaces - opposed to the «cowardice of mercantile theatre». To be part of Louis Jouvet, Charles Dullin, Valentine Tessier… The classics and contemporary authors - Claudel, Gide… - are here. The company Pitoëff and Jean Tedesco took the lead in 1924. The Pitoëff create many memorable shows. In 1944, the camera was mounted in camera by Jean-Paul Sartre in a staged by Raymond Rouleau. As you can see, the Old Colombier is one of the places of cultural renewal that cristallise after the war in Saint-Germain-des-Prés. And that continues! Classified Historic monument in 1978, it was bought by the State in 1986. After staying closed for many years, Old Colombier flies Again in 1993. It became the second theatre of the Comédie-Française, which plays works mainly from the contemporary repertoire. The room was renovated by the architect Bernard Kohn. With three hundred places, it gives the spectators the impression that they are under the hull of a vessel overthrown by the shape of its wooden structure.
