THÉÂTRE SÉBASTOPOL

Built after the Lille opera house burned down in 1903, this theater boasts a large, handsome auditorium with typical 19th-century architecture and striking gilding. The recently renovated facade is splendid! What we love about the Théâtre Sébastopol is that you really feel you're in a place apart, with an eclectic program that includes many popular national artists, as well as international dancers and other performers. A program of operettas at very attractive prices completes the line-up.

magnifique

In the centre of Lille, rue Solférino, this theatre of 1880 can accommodate up to 1350 people. Unfortunately this place is outdated and poorly maintained and it is a shame because new rooms settled, more modern and more welcoming! Despite the programming is quite large (light comedy in Louis Chedid) it is a theatre of type basket and try to have rooms face of because side the view is not exceptional!
