Located near the campus and the Grillenbreit district, the Grillen is the contemporary music hall managed by the city of Colmar since 1998. Its capacity does not exceed 350 seats, the concerts remain intimate, far from the zeniths and the gigantic and impersonal halls. All musical styles are represented: pop, rock, punk, soul, metal, hardcore, garage, electro, experimental, rap, blues... Teachers from the conservatory also come to perform there and the hall is open to all associations wishing to organise alternative and festive evenings (notably Live!, After Dark, Hiéro Colmar, Hopla! Zone 51...) The Grillen also puts two rehearsal studios at the disposal of local bands who regularly have the opportunity to showcase their talent during opening acts. The Rock School Barbey is a great scene for current music, offering an eclectic program at affordable prices. It is also a place of musical cultural diffusion. Music groups can record there with quality equipment. It is also a music school that offers percussion, saxophone, keyboard, guitar and singing lessons. The Rock School Barbey also organizes many events, including the cyclo-musical festival "Ouvre la Voix" which offers concerts, bike rides and tastings.

Housed in a brand-new building straddling the Cleunay and Courrouze districts, the Antipode is no half-measure. Its imposing monolithic structure includes two concert halls, one of which can accommodate up to 900 people, a creative workshop, rehearsal studios, spaces dedicated to artistic practice... and even a library. The history of this MJC is deeply rooted in the Cleunay district. A veritable institution in Rennes, the Antipode focuses on contemporary music and offers a wide variety of programming, including rock, rap, soul, pop, jazz, electro, hip-hop and metal, as well as a program dedicated to young audiences.

This is an unavoidable scene in Val d'Oise, which has already revealed an incredible number of talents, from Sum 41 in Tryo to Cali or Bénabar. The Espace Michel Berger, which everyone now calls EMB, is a large flexible space that can accommodate up to 500 people and whose programming is constantly renewed. Focusing on the new rock scene in the 1990 s, it gradually evolved into what it is common to call today the «new French song». In parallel, the EMB is now a place of residence for artists, as well as a music awareness educational place.

This small room is discreetly located under the Saint-Jacques viaduct. The idea? A multifunctional space, focused on culture, music, creation and sharing. The space can be adapted to suit different uses. On one side, an area with wooden furniture adaptable to any event. On the other, a studio for artistic creation and concerts. The place is starting to make a name for itself among Clermont-Ferranders, both for the conferences and meetings that take place here, and for the artist residencies, concerts, screenings and private parties. Paul B is the diminutive of the Paul-Bailliart cultural centre. This room of five hundred and fifty places - which also has a club of three hundred and seventy places - is very dynamic, its programming - rock, songs, reggae, music of the world, jazz, blues… - is all excellent year, playing equal to those of the Parisian rooms. This hall and its vast scenic area is a privileged place to host the largest shows and the biggest concerts. In August 1992, the first evening took place in this industrial wasteland converted into a modern music scene. These labels attributed by the Ministry of Culture as well as the associative history which carried this project contributed to make the "Nouma" a high place of the music in Alsace and in France. This human-sized concert hall is located in the heart of the La Pallice district. It has quickly become a must-see address for all fans of shows with a varied musical universe. For 10 years, La Sirène has hosted some of the biggest names on the international music scene. Moreover, it is easy to get there thanks to the shuttle bus offering a free return at the end of the concert.

This place is THE emblematic place of Mulhouse industrial history. Installed in DMC's building 75, Motoco welcomes 140 artists and 7 open spaces. Carpenter, visual artist, photographer, entrepreneur, such are the inhabitants of this extraordinary place. Formerly an industrial wasteland which is being reborn from its fallow land, it is regularly featured in the press. Renaud Papillon Paravel, author-composer-performer, has turned this former vineyard into a unique venue combining accommodation and musical events from April to October. The Grand Sauvage stage is the ideal place for artists to meet their audience and vice-versa. The season kicks off with the "J'irai cracher sur vos tongs" festival (^2nd edition), and then it's on to live events with no stylistic boundaries (concerts, DJs...) and always with good food and drink at the Food-Caravane. Located just a stone's throw from Place de la République and Place du Théâtre, Bam Jam is a café you can recognize by its blue paintwork, large bay window and the many posters on the walls. If you come early in the evening, you'll be able to satisfy your hunger (plates of French fries, galettes,...) and whatever the time of day, you'll be able to have a drink with friends while listening to music and, from time to time, attending a concert (agenda on the Bam Jam Facebook page). Since 2006, it is the big hall of Nantes Métropole. The Zenith is located at the crossroads of the Nantes-Saint-Nazaire expressway and the ring road, on the Ar Mor site, near public transport. The large and beautiful hall of the Zenith in Dijon is always full or almost full, and for good reason! Programming knows how to bring together all genres and generations. Inaugurated in 1989, the Transbo is one of Lyon's must-see stages, and has now been given a facelift to present a permanent festival featuring a mix of the world's best bands. Hot evenings are in store, with artists from a wide range of genres, including some dates in 2024 with MC Solaar (already sold out), Luther, FFF, Chinese Man, les Fatals Picards, Steel Panther and more. Le Bikini is the mythical concert hall of Toulouse! Inaugurated in 1983, it is the place of all the musical scenes and affirms it loud and clear " In Bikini dura rock ". Placebo, Indochine, Arno or Saint Germain, Agar Agar, Angèle, Cats on Trees for the new generation. The artists benefit from a large stage of 20 meters, the acoustics are excellent. Installed under the naves, Steréolux is a high place of the cultural life of Nantes. Limoges is part of these cities with their Zenith. Between Ester and Uzurat, the room designed by architect Bernard Tschumi accommodates up to 6 047 people and more than 4 500 seated. Its wooden structure covered with a semi-transparent envelope leaves its eyes to the surrounding woods. It's a bubble, a cocoon but open on the outside. The opening of this expanded music room in March 2007 was inaugurated by a show by Michel Polnareff, who chose Limoges for his great return on French soil before even playing his first date in Paris-Bercy. Since then, the hall has seen the performance of the public artists, the song but also the comedy scene, not forgetting musicals and shows for children. The only space of such capacity, the Zenith hosts regional events, shows and events. Caveat, traffic: The parking lot with only one exit, the caps are common, so we have to take its patience in patience.

El Mediator is THE concert hall of the Théâtre de l'Archipel. With a capacity of 900 people, this place in Perpignan is a reference for all music lovers. Near the Docks of La Joliette, this former wheat silo dates from 1927. Rehabilitated in 2011, it is now a performance hall dedicated to artistic programming: concerts, dance, theater, comedy... Located on the banks of the Seine, the AccorHotels Arena is a modular pyramid-shaped venue with a capacity of up to 17,000 spectators. As its name indicates, the Palais des Congrès is a site where congresses and other events related to the economy are held. It was built for the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 1974, enlarged and renovated in 1999. With three thousand seven hundred and twenty-three squares, without balcony, its Grand Amphitheater is designed to ensure perfect visibility for all spectators. Located just a few metres from the market in Wazemmes, Le Biplane is one of the privileged places of the artists and amateurs of conviviality in the centre of Lille. It is a double room (theatre and concert) Lille which has been managed since 1998 by the Night Theft association. In total, there are no fewer than 60 volunteers each day to ensure the operation of the establishment, its programming, the reception of the public and also artists. A place of expression in connection with the Association Luciol. Bobino is a beloved name among music-hall fans. It was originally the name of an early ^19th-century clown. Several venues were successively built on the same site, starting with Folies Bobino in 1873. From cabaret to café-concert to music hall. From the 1950s onwards, Bobino rivaled the Olympia, welcoming Georges Brassens, Édith Piaf, Coluche and many other stars. The venue was closed in 1983 and demolished, but the show went on, and in 1991 Studio Bobino took over.

A sumptuous liner stranded in the heart of Brest, this building is a lovely nod to the maritime city. An evolving infrastructure, it houses a multifunctional hall dedicated to hosting shows, concerts and sporting events. Second regional venue in terms of capacity after the Zenith in Montpellier, Zinga Zanga - pronounced Zingo Zango - is an entertainment and leisure venue located west of Béziers. A sign of the revival of the Biterrois area, since autumn 2007, it completes the range of venues in the Béziers conurbation offered by the municipality - the theatre -, the Hérault departmental council - Sortie Ouest - or the Sérignan town hall - La Cigalière. Chato' C, it is a concert hall for 600 people managed by Asso' Mars and labelled Smac (scene of contemporary music). But also a Space club is in the end, beginning, middle of evening or listen to a concert more intimate than in the spacious dining room. The Trabendo is located in one of the small red buildings built in the Parc de La Villette. Park historians may remember the first venue here, but Trabendo has quickly swept the past under the carpet. Since 2000, this seven-hundred-seat venue has continued to expand its program: Manu Chao, Calexico, The Neptunes and Bugge Wesseltoft have all played here. Note: the murals are signed by Futura 2000, a historic figure in New York graffiti. And the word "Trabendo" comes from contrabando, Spanish for contraband: quite a program.

This 300-seat room dedicated to humour in all its forms was created by two passionate lovers of living art and scratch-hair, the couple Marguier. Because they lacked a place to express in an amusing way their local and national favourites, the Warehouse had to fill this void. The programming is of high quality, and many national artists come here to test their new shows. The most? The possibility of having dinner or a drink before or after the show.

Le Temps Machine is a contemporary music venue. When you step through its doors, you'll discover emerging groups and established stars of rock, rap, electro and pop... And don't forget to give a helping hand to local artists with special evenings dedicated to them. Established in 2011, the venue has made a name for itself and a regular following, attracted by its varied prices (including for small budgets) and eclectic programming. With a 600-seat venue, a "Club" space for more intimate concerts, rehearsal studios, and a library-resource center, Le Temps Machine is a must for music lovers.

This former cinema, well known to the people of Toulouse, located near the boulevards and bought a few years ago by the Chevaliers du Fiel, has moved away from humorous programming to devote itself fully to music. It strives to represent it in its widest diversity: soul, rock, funk, French chanson, rap and even big band... Without forgetting to highlight local artists and groups, of course! Enough to satisfy the passionate as well as the curious. A bar is open half an hour before the concert and, to extend your evening, you can dine at the Comptoir du Rex, a friendly tapas bar.

A concert hall equivalent to the huge bunker of Bercy, but in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais. Yet we do not think enough about it, when more and more major events are taking place there. So think: 14 000 places! It doesn't take any more to see large names of international scenes make a small hook by our region. Muse or Depeche Mode made the move. Here the sound is warm and does not stop in all corners of the room, as in Paris… In spite of the size of the Arena, there is a certain closeness to the artist. Unfortunately, the imminent delivery of the Grand Stadium could bring big sizes to prefer this new high place of the department for ever more shows. Shame.
