Located in an old small factory, this location in Ménilmontant can contain three hundred and fifty people. The room has a mezzanine. The musical program is eclectic and quality. The following went: Magic Malik, Cheikh Tidiane Seck, Katerine, Louis Bertignac, Omar Sosa, Gabriel Yaqoop… Film projections are also organized. The Eurorégional Centre for Urban Cultures, now renamed FLOW, is a unique place whose missions revolve around five strengths. First, support and accompaniment to artists through workshops, personalized advice and residences. In FLOW, artists are given the keys to progress and enrich their practices. But FLOW is not just about professionals. It offers amateurs and semi-professionals a wide range of awareness, initiation and training projects. Yes, here being amateur does not mean being dilettante! Finally, the Centre is at the heart of a network of several structures, all of which are committed to putting urban cultures, mainly hip hop, on the front of the stage. Through strong times throughout the year, FLOW gives the public the best of contemporary creation. The scenic feats of hip-hop dancers and dance break are breathtaking and restore this culture of nobility. This is also what the current Resource Centre also works for. History, sociological studies, archives… urban cultures are studied and analyzed in the same way as all other forms of art. Proof, if one was needed, that urban cultures deserve public attention!

This concert hall places culture and art in honour. Here for all tastes: concerts: French rock or song, theatre for big or small, but also exhibitions and cultural actions of all kinds.

It signed its Smac (Scène de musiques actuelles) certification agreement on November 4, 2011, and launched a month of festivities to celebrate its tenth anniversary. La Tannerie is not only a 550-seat concert hall where you can attend concerts of all kinds (alternative rock, hip-hop, world music...), but it's also a venue where you can take your kids, take part in hip-hop dance battles, visit an exhibition - there's one every quarter - listen to lectures or, finally, see a film-concert.

As a Smac, La Tannerie is also a place to practice music. Rehearsal space is available for local groups.

It is one of the very few venues to appear in our guide this season. Not that it hosts more shows than the others, but it is part of Lyon's heritage. What an incredible history this hall has, a marvel of metal architecture created by the Eiffel workshops and imagined by Tony Garnier! Formerly a cattle market, the hall has become a veritable cathedral of iron and glass built on a stone base. In "normal" times, the hall seats 5,000 and welcomes the biggest stars.

Do not say "Vinci" but Palais des Congrès, since the place has changed its name in 2018. Here is an original address that invites you to live evenings that are out of the ordinary! The decor is a guarantee of escape. A vast room suitable for concerts, several spaces for drinking, dancing, meeting. A huge veranda, heated during the day and open in the summer with shimmering lights, offers a friendly and festive atmosphere. You will be able to attend concerts but also many theme parties (90's, blind test...) while ordering drinks and snacks. It feels like spending an evening with friends, and it feels good!

On the banks of the canal, halfway between the town center and the Etangs d'Apigné, La Guinguette, the MeM's open-air stage, has a bohemian ambience. Come for a drink and share a cornet of charcuterie, eat miso sesame beef or a salad of vinegared rice with fish "burnt" with cucumber and spring onion - recipes by Julien Lemarié. Weekend barbecues. From Thursday to Sunday, the Guinguette invites musicians from eclectic backgrounds. The superb Magic Mirrors tent offers concerts, festivals, conferences and other events all year round. It is under the roof of a former powder keg of the th century that the association Arts Stage Rocks has settled. The idea is: offer eclectic music programming at local, national and international levels and create new talent. A promise of musical discovery, new sounds, new musical aesthetics in a most convivial and atypical room. In addition to organised concerts, several cultural activities are also carried out by the association throughout the year.

The Tram is a third place composed of three distinct spaces: a municipal music conservatory with a 120-seat auditorium, a youth and extracurricular reception area and finally a performance hall. The rich and varied programming ranges from one-man shows, including several comedians, to theater and concerts. The Petit Tram offers fun musical shows to awaken children (from 5 years old) to the sounds of different instruments. The literary aperitifs put forward stories and portraits on a theme. The actors of the DEST theater company lend their voices to paint a society that resembles us.

La Java has a rich history. A small dance hall opened in 1923 at the back of the Palais du Commerce, a gallery now listed as a historic monument, it saw the debut of Edith Piaf. Celebrities such as Django Reinhardt and Jean Gabin also frequented it. Later, it became a discotheque. In the 1980s, it was the scene of sixties and indie rock revivals. The Hot Pants, for example, were Manu Chao's first band. There were other dance evenings, this time with a Latin flavour. Since 2006, the venue has been divided between concerts and clubbing.

Atabal, with 700 seats, has been the Biarritz music scene for over 18 years. With around a hundred concerts a year, the eclectic program is effective, from metal to hip-hop to reggae. A friendly bar is open on concert evenings. There's also an exhibition room featuring local artists, a multimedia space, and a rehearsal and recording studio. Atabal also offers guitar, bass, drums, singing and keyboard lessons... and a boutique selling bags and T-shirts for souvenirs. A creative city within a city.

This small 240-seat venue welcomes rap, reggae and metal groups. The bar, with its beautiful brick fireplace, offers drinks and snacks. Musicians can rehearse, train and soon record. Groups such as The Congos and The Gladiators have performed in this room. It is also a cultural and youth centre offering several activities (yoga, sewing, pilates, dance and from an early age: pottery, drawings,...). There are also public shows for children from 2 years old.

Located near the bridge Valentré, this place, which is able to accommodate 500 spectators, has become over the years the indispensable musical meeting point of Cahors with three options in this area: music workshops, three rehearsal rooms equipped for current music and contemporary music concerts - programming available at the Tourist office. The Docks is also a free café.

Since its reopening celebrated in 2019, the Grand Mix continues to attract thousands of curious and music lovers! It must be said that there is plenty to celebrate. The "bunker" has become an open and bright place with lots of new spaces, including the Club, a 300-seat room designed to host emerging groups. It will even be possible to eat there. The goal of this unique venue is to unearth new talent and program the best of today's music, while allowing a real encounter between the artists and the public.

Over the years, La Cave aux Poètes has become an essential address for all lovers of contemporary music. At the origin of the creation of this atypical concert hall, we find the collective L'Eclipse, gathering artists of all disciplines. In 1994, the collective invested a cellar, which was used in the 1970s as a place to read... poetry! The ambition of the collective is to create unique events accessible to all around an eclectic program, by privileging regional artists as much as possible.

It can accommodate between 250 seats and 450 spectators without the floor. It offers Les Jeudis de la Boîte, concerts by artists in the current musical movement.

" Le Moulin "is in the first place a concert hall. It is a very special place, lost in nature in the vicinity of Poligny, which nevertheless welcomed the greatest musicians. From national and international groups to small local groups, music lovers continue to love each other. " Le Moulin "is a very special mood for a truly unique atmosphere. The place has a soul and a history (at the beginning of the century the mill used to pour black wheat). Far from the huge multi-dimensional rooms and the sanitised boxes, the "Moulin" is a place that lives permanently. A second room serves as a snack bar where temporary exhibitions take place regularly. A rehearsal studio is made available to local groups which allows them to repeat each week. The reception conditions are excellent, both personal and material, and many artists come in residence. With an eclectic choice of current music, a frequency of at least one concert per week, some technicians and a reception capacity of 700 places (the public has access to two balconies plus the pit), this room has become a reference in the event. Near the Talensac Market, La Bouche d'air is a human-sized venue with a rich and varied program. The 2022-2023 season was worthy of its anniversary (40 years in June 2023!) and of its desire to honor current music with concerts by Cali, La Grande Sophie, les Fouteurs de joie, Fred Pellerin, Marcia Hugelin, Yves Jamais... We don't forget the aperitif-concerts organized by the hall! Regularly, cultural actions are proposed to sensitize new audiences. The Cité des Congrès de Nantes is the first convention center in the Grand Ouest region. It can host conventions and trade shows for an audience of 300 to over 3,000 people. In the Middle of Devenir, the complex (formerly Cat) is a superb concert and concert hall that offers very good programming throughout the year, almost 100% green-yellow-red. It is therefore entirely dedicated to reggae fans: reggae roots, reggae fondational, Rub Rub A Dub, but also offers concerts and rap evenings, ragga, hip hop, hardcore, become, electro, techno, ska roots, drum and world music. Exodus is in fact a religious organisation (Action Africa Asia) which organises a variety of events (exhibitions, meetings, lectures) including impressive enough concerts for those who know each other there a little. Star in their countries, the humbly artists come to present their musical or song recitals in the small 80 seats near the cours Julien. It is the kingdom of the world music in Marseille, constantly led by a dynamic team and engaged in the defence of the minority cultures.

With its 9 hectares of total surface area, including 14 000 m ^² of covered surface and 8 hectares in open air, the Penfeld exhibition Centre can accommodate up to 12 000 people. There is also a parking space of 3 500 places for the very many visitors. 30 years of the BBC! There have been many artists on this stage! Rock may be king, but other musical styles are also making their mark. This year's line-up includes Talisco, Arthur H and Alela Diane. Its strong points: a small (600-seat) but terribly warm venue where you can get right up close to the artists, irreproachable sound quality and a pleasant bar where you can meet your favorite singers. As a Scène de musiques actuelles du Calvados, the club's mission is to support the creation and revitalization of the local music scene.

This mythical venue for Dijon concerts, founded in 1995 and completely renovated in 2018, offers the public two rooms, with 230 and 1,200 seats, as well as a dining area. In addition, it offers 7 rehearsal and musical creation studios for amateurs and professionals. You will inevitably find your happiness among the eclectic programming of the concerts: hip hop, punk rock, funk, electro, song... Young audience shows and film concerts are also offered. The Yvelinois Music Resource Centre is a network of 25 concert and rehearsal rooms for current and amplified music.

The Life (International scene of Emerging Forms) is a space dedicated to the production and dissemination of artistic creation in its various aspects, such as the plastic arts, music, architecture, performing arts, literature, cinema, or video and new media. It was imagined by the architect Berlin Finn Geipel. Inaugurated in April 2007, it became a major element in the recovery of the old submarine base. Life is close to 2000 m 2 on the ground, a reception capacity of 150 to 2500 people. In the programme: shows, exhibitions, concerts, projections, meetings; a regular bar and dance; day or night, a place of experience, meetings, discoveries and exchanges.

Rock, reggae, blues, rap, jazz, electro, metal and French song are all part of the repertoire of this concert hall located on the banks of the Yonne. With a capacity of 500 seats, many national and international stars have already played there, such as Mickey 3D, Miossec, Kimberose or Piers Faccini. Keep an eye on the programme: it is both varied and full of great surprises, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, musical courses and even activities for young people. A must in Auxerre, Le Silex is THE rock and jazz scene par excellence!

Cherrydon is a rather famous concert hall in the region. For many years, it has mainly specialized in "tribute" concerts (Led Zeppelin, Sting...). Every month, the Cherry' develops a dense programming rather focused on rock and variety. The audience is rather composed of forty and fifty year olds, the atmosphere is good and without any headache. The look-alike shows (Sardou, France Gall...) are particularly appreciated. A nearby restaurant, the Comme à la maison, will welcome you in the early evening. A real piece of local popular culture, atypical. From time to time, American big names perform there.

Micropolis is the Spectacles Concert Hall. Its reception capacity and flexible spaces make it convenient for many events or concerts. You'll get bored on the occasion of the big annual meetings of Luna Park and the Fiera Franche (among others!) as well as at the concerts and one-man shows of our favorite national artists! On the practical side, the days of high crowds, when the all Besançon rush to a show, we appreciate the huge parking that allows to park easily and its situation at the gates of Besançon which facilitates access, even if it does not avoid the caps!

"La Manoque" is a modern, spacious cultural complex open to hire for all kinds of events and functions. The venue comprises 2 halls. The first is ideal for shows, with 755 seats (up to 1200 standing) and a stage of almost 100m². The other, designed for seminars, wedding receptions, association meals and other events, seats 400 and includes a catering area. The open-air theater, with its 800-seat amphitheater seating, is the perfect venue for open-air events (concerts, film screenings).

A 400-seat venue with a documentation center, four rehearsal rooms, a recording studio and even an artists' residence, the Route du Son is the musical counterpart to the Bel Ordinaire. It is the Centre de Musiques Actuelles de la Communauté d'agglomération Pau Pyrénées. It is run by the musical association L'Ampli, which promotes contemporary music in the south-west of France, as well as by other associations such as ACP, A Tant Rêver du Roi and Pau Concert Production. La Route du Son accompanies initiatives and projects, providing support for production, welcoming musicians, distribution and information.

The centerpiece of the Tours Exhibition Center, the Grand Hall is also an XXL-sized concert hall that regularly welcomes the greatest national and international artists. It must be said that with its 10 000^m2, the place can receive 4 000 to 12 000 spectators! Of course, with the Covid, it was not often opened these last months... Le Prism is the entertainment room of the city. All year round concerts are programmed. In particular, the site welcomed Pascal Obispo, La Snoops or even comics like the Knights of Venom. Parking can be used for large machinery shows for the Street Theatre Festival. Prism it's also fairs, festivals and conventions. Rental of equipment and room possible. This site has two configurations with a maximum of 3 717 standing spaces and places for people with reduced mobility. Please note that the ticket is located at the Convention Centre at 1st rue des Carmelites (open from a. m. to p. m. Monday to Friday). 

Made of concrete, wrapped in mahogany wood, it has the shape of a violin's resonance box. Designed by Rudy Ricciotti, the Auditorium has natural acoustic qualities. It welcomes nearly 300 people for concerts, world music, theater or dance. It is managed by the Soufflerie, which has 3 venues: the Auditorium, the Barakason, and the municipal theater. On the program for 2023: Célimène Daudet's piano, Cédric Cherdel's choreographies, Erwan Keravec's bagpipe players... Program 2024 to discover online!

You will recognize by far the white neon displaying the name of the room. The 112, all wood, fits intelligently into this tree décor. The stage of more than 100 m ² has already been excavated by many artists, and not least: Jacques Higelin, Pete Doherty or Oxmo Puccino… And yes! The Mosellane hall, not far from Thionville, offers its eclectic programming and good taste. Apart from concerts, some events such as exhibitions or restoration are organized. Pan Piper is a great place, with a diverse musical programme that embraces the whole world: Celtic music, samba, hip-hop, reggae, electro and more. The address is gradually expanding, and it's exactly the place to get away from it all. The place, which is not lacking in assets, also offers Pan Cooker, a great takeaway service. The place is also a caterer and can be privatised for your private events, which can accommodate up to 900 people.

A child of the country (a talent of the land), nicknamed Doumé, with his punk style, and an alternative group Les Marto's Pikeurs, fully at 100%, created the ID ID to promote audois and regional artists. He has set up festivals like Hace Calor, he manages Les Galette… His experience that in September 2014 he decided to open a concert club/concert hall, and DB was born!
