As far as the restaurant part is concerned, Don Camilo tempts you with dishes such as: homemade fresh duck foie gras, piece of beef roasted with perigourdine, leg of lamb roasted with thyme flower, salmon roasted with white butter and garnished with gratin dauphinois and small vegetables, Norwegian omelette..

Meat eaters, be ready to draw your forks because here, the specialty is beef! This chain of grill restaurants, created in 1968, is located in Odysseum and in the center of Montpellier. Open every day, the brasserie in the shopping center has a varied menu of dishes that are always very copious. Essentials include entrecote, ground steak, brochettes and sirloin, roast beef and sirloin heart, tartare, etc. It is also possible to enjoy large salads, burgers, codfish and chips or salmon steak. Kids and adults alike will be catered and generally come out of the address fully satiated!

If you ask a Dunkirk inhabitant where to go for a drink in a nice place, he will direct you to the well named "rue de la Soif" and more precisely to Le Bommel, a very famous (but not only) beer bar. You can't miss it with its ten or so (Belgian) beer signs on its façade. The menu is also impressive: 14 draught beers, a wide choice of bottled beers, but also rum-based cocktails. The original decoration, with its heterogeneous objects, its hanging hop vines, its flags and beer napkins on the ceiling, its woodwork, has not moved despite the change of ownership. The establishment has a strong identity and on Friday and Saturday evenings, it's buzzing! This is what makes its charm. There are people of all ages, sailors on port calls, workers on the move, English people who often find a pub spirit in this place. The establishment regularly organises events and concerts, but people come here mainly to mingle, to chat all night long... listening to good big rock music, having a good time on Les Lacs du Connemara, and dancing to Dalida music. Le Bommel is just great!

Well-known acoustics, red velvet curtains, a balcony with impeccable views of the scene, two thousand places… Olympia deserves its fame. His story is rather turbulent. There was on its site of the Russian mountains, and then a first Olympia from 1893 where all the stars of the caf period were passed: La Goulue, Frehel, Damia… The room is then converted into a cinema before becoming the Parisian music Hall temple in 1954 when the daring Bruno Coquatrix takes the lead. A legendary period begins with the performances of the young Gilbert Bécaud. All the French and foreign stars want to climb on the scene of this place that became mythical, especially after Edith Piaf touched thousands of spectators. The Beatles, Umm Kalsoum - for its only recital outside the Arab world - Jacques Brel, Georges Brassens, Jimi Hendrix, Otis Redding, Louis Armstrong, the Rolling Stones… History fails to stop in the 1990 s when the owner, Société Générale, plans to demolish the block of buildings where Olympia is located. Classified in 1993, it is finally reconstituted 6 metres below its original location, while the facade is preserved. This curious operation took place in 1997, Bécaud was the first to sing in this new Olympia, a room that was bought by the multinational Vivendi Universal in 2001.

It was the first cabaret where Leo Ferré gave a concert in 1948 and great names of jazz went through this: Sidney Bechet, John Coltran, Count Basie and his great orchestra, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, and many others. Today we take a drink at the piano bar, dine in the restaurant and direction the cabaret to listen to world music: South American, African, Oriental, French, etc. Until 5 o'clock in the morning, dancers and musicians follow on stage. 

For the past two years, the legendary Lido has been known as Lido 2 Paris, and remains the well-known address on the Champs-Elysées since 1946. But glamour and nudity have given way to musicals, and therein lies the main difference. While it still smells of the revues of yesteryear, the venue has embraced the times, with fairly low introductory prices and offerings that are much more geared towards the general public. Some love it, others regret it, but a visit here is a must, and we encourage you to make the most of it.

Located in a former 18th century farmhouse, Le Cheval Blanc is one of the main cultural venues in the town of Schiltigheim. Its hall can accommodate 170 spectators, its sound and light control system guarantees a good quality of performance. Throughout the year, plays, shows, concerts and film screenings are organised. The Joan of Arc Tower is the very last vestige of the Château de Rouen, which has become one of the symbols of the Norman capital. Joan of Arc was not imprisoned here, but she was granted a hearing in 1431, a few days before she was burned at the stake on the Place du Vieux-Marché. Today, the dungeon is the playground of escape game enthusiasts, whose scenario is "Libérez Rouen! Join the Resistance". You can also discover the dungeon on a guided or self-guided tour.

This funny history that of the Semicolon. In 1975, a group of youth actors like Martin Lamotte, Gérard Lanvin or Anemone build a place called "La Veuve Pichard". Three years later, Christian Varini follows the theater and creates the Semicolon. It became famous in the tea Trempoint, stage discovered comedians still today place on saturdays at 16:00. Before this superb neo-Renaissance theater was built in 1900, an ^18th-century music salon already existed on the same site. In 1931, the Ranelagh became a renowned art house cinema. It gradually returned to theater and music, as well as circus arts, notably with the successful performances of Howard Buten as the clown Buffo. The current 300-seat auditorium has retained its character, with carved oak panelling lining the orchestra and balconies.

Also known as the "French", this institution was created nearly 340 years ago. King Louis XIV, a great lover of entertainment, was responsible for its creation. Molière's plays are performed here, of course, but also those by Racine and Scarron. Over the centuries, the Comédie-Française has never moved from the Place Colette, just a stone's throw from the royal palace. A Grisbi that touched us with its velvety paw. A place beautifully inspired by the speakeasies of the American Prohibition era, yet with an elegant French touch. In this universe blending cinema, music (excellent by the way), architecture and interior design, we keep coming back to taste the 4 seasonal menus and enjoy the perfect cocktail to suit our mood. Sweeteria is a "factory of artisanal sweets" as its owner Cindy likes to call it, recently reconverted in pastry making. In her small cozy nest of about twenty places, completed by a small terrace, she honors her Caribbean-Latino roots. You can enjoy a Brazilian coffee or a Kréyol cocoa, served with a good cookie made with homemade peanut butter and unrefined sugar. At noon, wraps, in limited quantities to avoid waste, are offered. For the duration of a show, Cirque Imagine makes life more beautiful. The Comédie Caumartin is one of those popular theaters where laughter has been the order of the evening for decades. Numerous plays by Georges Feydeau, Tristan Bernard and Sacha Guitry, as well as "one-man shows", are on offer. Built in 1906, this 400-seat theater was named the Comédie Royale before adopting its current name in 1923. It closed in 1932 and was revived 20 years later by Jacques Fabbri's troupe. From 1960 to 1980, it presented "Boeing Boeing", Marc Camoletti's timeless vaudeville. Since then, one boulevard play follows another.
