The Grange aux Loups, managed by the company " Le loup qui zozote ", is a theater in the center of the medieval city of Chauvigny, installed in a 15th century barn converted into a room for live shows. With a capacity of about fifty people, the animations which are held there are always intimist. The program is rich and varied and is aimed at all audiences, including children: theater and music, puppets, stories, public readings and workshops. So don't be afraid to come and visit the wolves!

The English art of living has been invited to the heart of this small village in Puisaye where the British Jayne has joined forces with her daughter Natasha to create this very cosy and warmBritish-Poyaudin Tea Room. Here you can enjoy cupcakes, carrot cakes, cheese cakes and other scones with a cup of tea or an ice cream. Unless you prefer homemade soups and salads? For more than 20 years now, the cabaret Saint Sabastien has been sold out with its dinner show! An evening in this totally improbable place located in the heart of the Médoc is worth a detour. The reputation of the establishment extends far beyond regional borders. Le Channel is the cultural powerhouse of Calais. Promoted to the status of "Scène nationale" in 1991, the association took up residence in the town's former abattoirs. The renovation of these buildings in 2007 gave a boost to its programming, which combines circus, culinary arts, concerts, theater, street arts... These quality shows are intended to be convivial and festive before being intellectual. The Channel also features annual highlights such as Les flâneries sonores, held in February, and, in some years, Feux d'hiver during the last days of December. Like its program, the association's buildings are surprising: this cultural venue has retained its industrial soul, and since 2009 has housed a bar, restaurant and bookshop. The former water tower has been transformed into a belvedere, offering a breathtaking view of Calais after 122 steps. The marquee opens and closes its colorful canvas like an accordion. Belushi's is located in a millstone building with modern cladding, along the Canal de l'Ourcq. It attracts a young and varied population, from backpackers to neighborhood clientele. And since it's all about eclecticism, the bar, with its terrace and two large rooms, one of which is in the basement, offers karaoke, clubbing, student nights, match broadcasts, billiards... It's full of life, with a youth hostel atmosphere to match, and plenty of sports broadcasts.

May-Line, a dynamic young woman and heiress of a family of winegrowers from a Vosne-Romanée estate, was in charge of the Caveau de la Chouette before the place was taken over in April 2019 by Brian Verpeaux. While keeping the identity of the establishment, its new owner, who has made his mark in London and Paris, has adapted the concept to a wine and cocktail bar, refocusing its menu on 100% Burgundy wines. A la carte: Gevrey Chambertin, Pommard, Saint-Véran, Hautes Côtes de Nuits, or Saint-Romain, from 6 to 24 euros per glass or from 26 to 300 euros per bottle. The house proposes you to accompany your tasting with gougères, bruschettas, a board of cheeses and charcuteries or even snails from Burgundy. The novelty lies in the mixology, where you can savour delicious cocktails. As proof, the winery came third in the Burgundy mixology competition in January 2020. The atmosphere is festive and sometimes even supportive, during the broadcasting of football matches. Some may also privatize the place for tailor-made evenings.

L'Équipage is a lively place to be right from the morning, at the foot of the beach. We love it for its warm welcome and top-notch service, its terrace overlooking the ocean, and its low prices! The bar is bright and warm, and the menu is excellent: wines by the glass, several draught beers, but the speciality remains rum, with a wide range of ti-punches and cocktails. Accompanying the menu are home-made accras and samoussas, and tapas (home-made rillettes and terrines, cheeses...). After the beach, an ice cream or crêpe break. A sports fan, David offers sports broadcasts on the big screen.

During its renovation in 1990, this former fish market dressed its beautiful white stones in steel and glass. Theater, dance, music: the programming of La Coursive shows an eclecticism that rhymes with quality. The "small" theater Verdière alone symbolizes the spirit of the place, with 385 seats, it offers a proximity between the stage and the public. Since 2018, La Coursive has been getting closer to the Coupe d'Or theater, sharing no less than 11 shows in common and setting up free buses to discover them.

The Opéra de Rouen is the city's cultural institution, with two performance halls: the Théâtre des Arts and the Chapelle Corneille. For a long time, Parisian Sabine Couder had a dream: when she retired, she'd leave Paris and welcome gourmets and cultural enthusiasts in an atypical location. In Saint-Sauveur, she fell in love with a superb building, its garden and its old square tower. "Le Jardin du Bardado" was born. Tours-sur-Loire has become a summer must for tourists and Tourangeaux. This ephemeral bar installed at the water's edge expands from season to season. From May to September, three spaces are installed on the quays: the "historical" guinguette, west of the Wilson bridge, with its concerts and various animations. On the east side of the bridge, Chez Dupont offers a retro and calm atmosphere. On the other side of the bridge, the Beach, where calm and nature reign supreme. In this gigantic bodega inspired by the Basque country, the charm begins as soon as you enter. This is certainly one of the best-located cafés in Bagnoles. Indeed, the Renaissance is located in the heart of the city, at the intersection of several busy streets, a few dozen meters from the lake. Meat eaters, be ready to draw your forks because here, the specialty is beef! This chain of grill restaurants, created in 1968, is located in Odysseum and in the center of Montpellier. Open every day, the brasserie in the shopping center has a varied menu of dishes that are always very copious. Essentials include entrecote, ground steak, brochettes and sirloin, roast beef and sirloin heart, tartare, etc. It is also possible to enjoy large salads, burgers, codfish and chips or salmon steak. Kids and adults alike will be catered and generally come out of the address fully satiated!

If you ask a Dunkirk inhabitant where to go for a drink in a nice place, he will direct you to the well named "rue de la Soif" and more precisely to Le Bommel, a very famous (but not only) beer bar. You can't miss it with its ten or so (Belgian) beer signs on its façade. The menu is also impressive: 14 draught beers, a wide choice of bottled beers, but also rum-based cocktails. The original decoration, with its heterogeneous objects, its hanging hop vines, its flags and beer napkins on the ceiling, its woodwork, has not moved despite the change of ownership. There are people of all ages, sailors on port calls, workers on the move, English people who often find a pub spirit in this place. The establishment regularly organises events and concerts, but people come here mainly to mingle, to chat all night long... listening to good big rock music, having a good time on Les Lacs du Connemara, and dancing to Dalida music. Le Bommel is just great!

Overlooking the Marais Girard beach, La Paillote d'Eliott is both a bar offering food and a grocery store selling local produce. We like the original design of the terrace, made from wooden pallets and decorated with lanterns. Here, just off the beach, you can share an aperitif with friends over tapas, sardines, cheese platters and fish rillettes (available from the grocery store), with a cocktail. The menu also includes pasta salad, burgers and fish and chips. A great place to go at any time of day!

The Comoedia is a privileged meeting place for films, their creators and audiences, who enjoy exceptional programming all year round: films d'auteur in VOST, documentaries, revivals and special programming for young audiences. Preview screenings, meetings with directors and actors, as well as meetings between spectators to share the most beautiful emotions. Comoedia is the venue for many festivals. On the first floor of the restaurant Les Caudalies, we discover this pretty place: Le Décalé. Both a tapas bar and a wine bar, this place, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, is dedicated to beautiful bottles and beautiful boards to share with friends or colleagues,... You come here for afterwork evenings, cocktail dinners, wine tasting. This wine bar offers an à la carte menu of about forty wines by the glass and by the bottle from different regions of France and foreign countries. But also boards of cold meats and cheese, sandwiches, salads of the moment ... Seasonal nibbles are made from products selected by the chef. The Joan of Arc Tower is the very last vestige of the Château de Rouen, which has become one of the symbols of the Norman capital. Joan of Arc was not imprisoned here, but she was granted a hearing in 1431, a few days before she was burned at the stake on the Place du Vieux-Marché. Today, the dungeon is the playground of escape game enthusiasts, whose scenario is "Libérez Rouen! Join the Resistance". You can also discover the dungeon on a guided or self-guided tour.

This place is a must during the summer season. This is the "Wine and Music" version of this good gourmet address facing the quays of the marina. A large room on the first floor and its panoramic terrace above the quays to meet with friends and often in the middle of the fans of the Bastia soccer club (the SCB for the regulars).
