Low season: open Thursdays 12pm-2pm; Fridays 12pm-2pm and 7pm-10pm; Saturdays 12pm-10pm; Sundays 11am-6pm. High season: Wednesday to Saturday, 12pm to 10pm; Sunday, 11am to 8pm. Le Chat Perché is a Country Pub, tearoom and garden tucked away in the heart of the Pays d'Auge.

Our guests are welcome throughout the day to enjoy UK inspired dishes and cakes. We take pride in serving home-made, wholesome food, prepared from fresh, seasonal produce. Most of our ingredients are sourced from small local farms and wherever possible we use organic fairtrade produce. We are deeply committed to a more eco-friendly approach to catering and aim to create a space where people can enjoy themselves without compromising ethics and values of Fairshare and Earthcare.

For lunch or dinner, why not tuck into our traditional Fish and Chips or try one of our home-made cheeseburgers ? Vegetarian? Or free-range, local, organic beef? The choice is yours. The only ingredients in our burgers that aren’t locally sourced are the Cheddar and Stilton because we only want the best in farmhouse British cheese. So we have them shipped over from across the pond. We also offer a selection of soups, curries, salads, light lunches… most of our dishes are available in vegetarian options.

If you have more of a sweet-tooth, you're in for a treat ! Our tearoom menu is brimming with all sorts cakes : lemon meringue pie, carrot cake, Guinness cake, cheesecake, cookies, muffins, vegan pastries… and of course traditional Devonshire Scones. Best enjoyed with a locally-made farmhouse ice tea on the sunny terrace or with a creamy hot chocolate by the fire after a long autumn country walk.

When night-time comes, Le Chat Perché transforms into a cosy, romantic, friendly bar. With a wide range of local craft beers and ciders and premium spirits, you’ll be spoilt for choice. We also offer a selection of fine bar snacks, a “Ploughman Platter” for a light nibble, and our lunch and dinner menu is available for a hearty meal.

In the daytime, children are welcome to enjoy our playroom or take a stroll in the garden. Come meet our sheep, hens and guinea pigs ! We also host a range of events and workshops for both children and adults throughout the year. The listing is available on our website
