Day 1: From Paris to Douala

Day flight, arrival at the end of the day, reception and transfer to the hotel; free evening.

Day 2: Cap on the north

Steps: Garoua, Maroua

Departure for Maroua, in the Far North, at the end of the morning on an inland flight via Garoua; late arrival, transfer to the hotel and evening free.

Day 3: Discovery of local life

Steps: Foumban, Maroua, Pouss, Mourla

Visit of the market and the furs neighbourhood in Maroua in the morning, then departure for the fishing village of Maga, on the lake of the same name, and visit the villages of Pouss and Mourla and their famous obus shells; return to Maroua late in the day and evening free.

Day 4: Wanderings in the Cameroonian markets

Steps: Foumban, Mokolo, Rhumsiki

Departure for Rhumsiki in the morning, stop in Mokolo to visit the typical markets of Tourou and Mabas, and for lunch; Road to Rhumsiki, arrival at the end of the day, reception at Campement camp and free evening.

Day 5: Local crafts and lunar landscapes

Steps: Maroua, Rhumsiki

Walk in the morning in Rhumsiki, visit of the artisan centre, the famous sorcerer to the crabs and village of the blacksmiths of Amsa; in the afternoon, excursions to the discovery of the Kapsiki rocky peaks and their lunar landscapes. return to camp at the end of the day and free evening.

Day 6: Arrival at Waza National Park

Steps: Mokolo, Koza, Mora, Oudjilla, Parc National De Waza

Departure early in the morning, crossing Mokolo, road by the Col de Koza and its magnificent landscapes, stop at the artisan cooperative of Djingliya, shortly before Mora, for lunch and visit a traditional saré saré (shopping opportunity); Traversée Traversée and visits to the Leadership leadership; arrive at Waza camp at the end of the day and evening at the camp, in the heart of the large national park of Waza, the main natural reserve of Cameroon.

Day 7: Observation of wildlife

Good time for a safari in the park, looking for lions, elephants, giraffes and other antelopes; return to camp late in the day.

Day 8: Road to the border with Chad

Steps: Foumban, Parc National De Waza, Kousséri

Waza-Kousséri. Departure in the morning of Waza, arriving in Kousséri, just opposite N'Djamena in the afternoon; reception at camp, visit of the city and its market, free evening.

Day 9: Towards Lake Chad

Steps: Kousséri, Blangoua

Kousséri-Blangoua. Expedition via Makari, towards Blangoua, at the northern end of Cameroon; arrival in the afternoon, installation of the camp and visit of the city and its market.

Day 10: Between long stretches of water and arid landscapes

Excursion to Lake Chad to admire the ballet of the canoes and the kotoko fishermen, crossing arid landscapes of the Sahelian type; return to camp late in the day.

Day 11: Road along the Chad border and the river Logone

Steps: Kousséri, Logone Birni, Blangoua

Blangoua-Logone Birni. Early morning departure from Blangoua for Logone Birni via Goulfey and Kousséri; at the end of the day at the camp of this city-stage.

Day 12: Transfer to Maroua

Steps: Maroua

Early departure for Maroua, via Mahé and Bogo; arrival at the end of the day, reception at the hotel and free evening.

Day 13: Excursion to the village of Mindif

Steps: Maroua

Visit of the village of Mindif, its artisans and its rocky peak; return to Maroua late in the day.

Day 14: Return to Douala

Steps: Douala, Garoua

Departure for Douala, via Garoua, on an internal flight; reception at the hotel and end of free day.

Day 15: Last hours in Cameroon

Steps: Douala

Free day in Douala, possibility to relax at the marina or at the hotel, or shopping in Bonapriso; departure for Paris in the evening, by night flight.
