Day 1: Arrival in Santo Domingo

Steps: Santo Domingo

Evening arrival in Santo Domingo (most flights to the Dominican Republic arrive at Las Americas airport in the evening). One night at the Nicolas de Ovando Hotel to sleep well and prepare for an intense stay.

Day 2: Horse and waterfalls

Steps: Jarabacoa, Santo Domingo

Early morning bus departure for Jarabacoa 150 km north of Santo Domingo. To start off gently, go horseback riding to the powerful waterfalls of Balneario de la Confluencia.... Sumptuous decoration.

Day 3: Rafting, canyoning and mountain biking

Rafting, canyoning or mountain biking to extend the discovery of this exuberant nature, full of the Dominican republic.

Day 4: Towards Pico Duarte

Steps: Parque Nacional José Del Carmen Ramírez, Jarabacoa

Ascension in 3 days of Pico Duarte, the highest summit in the Caribbean. Start early in the morning or day before in the evening to be on the right time and equipped with all the walking and hiking equipment, ready for the high mountain. The departure is made from the village of La Cienaga, 55 km from Jarabacoa and 1 100 m from. After renting at least one mule for the equipment and having found his guide (mandatory), start the ascent. Sleep in the cottage at 2 650 m above sea level.

Day 5: Ascension of Pico Duarte

Take the right time to reach the summit where the statue of Duarte (emblematic political figure of the island) admires the landscape and welcomes walkers. Go down slowly to the cottage to spend a new night.

Day 6: Back to La Cienaga

Finish down to the village of La Cienaga.

Day 7: Fiesta in Las Terrenas

Steps: Las Terrenas

Go to Las Terrenas on the Samana peninsula to practice horseback riding, quad biking, diving, tennis. All the infrastructures necessary for sports are here, in an idyllic setting, on a background of turquoise sea and fine sandy beach. Another local sport: the celebration! Change the rhythm for an evening and enjoy the dance and rum in a welcoming Franco-Dominican atmosphere.

Day 8: Meeting the whales

Steps: Santa Barbara De Samaná - Samaná

Spend a day in Santa Barbara de Samana to watch the fabulous whale watching during the season (from mid-January to mid-March) and enjoy the surrounding beaches.

Day 9: Beach in Cabarete

Steps: Sosúa, Cabarete

Departure for Cabarete, world reference in kitesurfing and windsurfing. Windsurfing initiation day in the morning and visit of the superb beach of Sosua in the afternoon.

A day of surfing on Kite Beach beach and enjoy the young, international and relaxed atmosphere of the place.

Day 11: Place for Golf

Take advantage of an excursion to the atypical village of Altos de Chavón to discover the reconstruction of a 17th century Italian village on the heights of the river.
