PLAYA DE SOSÚA
It divides the locality into two parts: to the west, the Dominican village of Los Charamicos, and to the east, the more touristy El Batey. The sand is brilliant white, and the water incredibly crystal-clear. Magnificent panoramic view of the bay. But the beach is often overcrowded, invaded by sunbathers and water sports enthusiasts... It's hard to escape all kinds of solicitations. It's not until 5 p.m. that the place regains its calm. The pink and orange swirls of the sunset then offer the most beautiful of spectacles.
