Perhaps one of the best addresses in Sosúa, in any case the most original. Installed on the beach, in the shade of an appreciable vegetation, Mosha's Reggae Lounge proposes nothing less than a trip to Jamaica. Everything is there: a relaxed atmosphere, good reggae, a Kingston-style decor, a warm welcome and, above all, excellent Jamaican cuisine, prepared with love and presented with care. Vegetarian plates, jerk chicken, curries, fish in sauce, to be accompanied by smoothies and other tropical juices. One love.

Located at the end of a cul-de-sac, this restaurant offers a magnificent view of Playa Alicia, the sea and the mountains, and is very quiet yet close to the city center. You'll enjoy international cuisine and seafood, as well as some great desserts, like a slice of chocolate cake. The Waterfront is ideal for watching the sunset while sipping a cocktail. Note: good Wifi connection and disabled access. Good atmosphere and smiling service. All this at affordable prices.

Tex-mex, pizzas, grills, Dominican and international specialties make up the menu of this adorable hut, protected from the people who pass by, and with a friendly service. You can enjoy sitting at one of the tables on the Captain Bailee's large terrace and quench your thirst with a cold drink before moving on to the main course. From Monday to Saturday, a Dominican buffet is served at lunchtime . An excellent value for money for a tasty time.

Charming bar-restaurant on the terrace (in the boutique-hotel of the same name), around a swimming pool, lounge atmosphere and a little away from the city centre and its bustle. The Mediterranean-inspired kitchen is open and you can watch the chef prepare your dish: fresh pasta, fish and especially seafood. Everything is fresh! We recommend the tuna trio and the pineapple/crème brûlée ravioli for dessert, a real treat. French-speaking welcome. From January to March, a foreign chef is invited to cook more elaborate meals.

Within the luxurious Ocean Club complex, the Baia Lounge welcomes you between the pool and the sea, with a breathtaking view. The Mediterranean specialities honour fish in all its forms: carpaccio, ceviche, sushi... We particularly recommend the octopus carpaccio and mango conch. A delight. Possibility to have lunch by the pool, and even on the beach. A beautiful address, which reminds us more of Saint-Tropez or Capri than Sosúa. A moment of luxury guaranteed and an undeniably professional and careful service.

Located at the western end of the beach, you can walk past it several times without noticing it. And what a shame! It is one of the only restaurants on the beach without touts. Since it is located on the Dominican side, it welcomes mainly Dominican families who come to share fish and seafood. The restaurant has no sign: it is a white building, with a large kitchen open to the beach, and a few tables outside. Here, fish is king, grilled or fried, in Mofongo with octopus or shrimps, or in paella.

Without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in the region. The setting is pleasant with its small shaded patio away from the tourist crowds. Here, the fish is in the honor as well as the Tuscan specialities: pasta, pizzas, good pieces of meat accompanied by chips or vegetables... We recommend the fish of the day (roasted) as well as the linguini with lobster. A real treat and generous portions! The whole in a warm atmosphere and a service with the small onions. Some evenings, the meal is accompanied by live music.
