Day 1: Arrival in Santiago

Steps: Santiago De Chile

Check-in at your hotel. Visit to the city center and one or two museums.

Day 2: Around Santiago

Steps: Valparaíso

Visit to Valparaíso, a World Heritage site, with its cerros, port and Pablo Neruda's house, La Sebastiana. Return to Santiago.

Day 3: En route to Punta Arenas

Steps: Punta Arenas, Puerto Natales

Plane to Punta Arenas from Santiago. Transfer to Puerto Natales (stay in Puerto Natales or transfer to a hostel in the national park).

Day 4: Torres del Paine National Park

Steps: Parque Nacional Torres Del Paine

Driving tour of Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 5: Discover the magical landscapes of the Fjords

Steps: Puerto Natales

Cruise the fjords around Puerto Natales.

Day 6: Heading for Puerto Varas

Steps: Puerto Varas, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas

Return to Punta Arenas, flight to Puerto Montt. Transfer to Puerto Varas.

Day 7: Vicente Perez Rosales National Park

Steps: Parque Nacional Vicente Pérez Rosales, Puerto Varas

Visit to Vicente Perez Rosales National Park, Osorno volcano, Saltos del Petrohue... Return to Puerto Varas.

Day 8: Transfer to Arica

Steps: Puerto Montt, Arica

Plane from Puerto Montt to Santiago and on to Arica.

Day 9: Hiking in Lauca National Park

Steps: Parque Nacional Lauca

Two-day excursion to Lauca National Park and Chungara Lagoon.

Day 10: Breathtaking landscapes

Second day of trek in Lauca National Park.

Day 11: Destination San Pedro de Atacama

Steps: Calama, San Pedro De Atacama, Arica

Flight (or bus) from Arica to Calama. Transfer to San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 12: Salt plains

Visit to the salt desert and lagoons.

Day 13: We walked on the Moon

Steps: Valle De La Luna

Visit to the geysers in the morning, the Valley of the Moon in the afternoon (phew!).

Day 14: A stroll through San Pedro de Atacama

Flight from Calama to Santiago after a final stroll through the streets of San Pedro de Atacama (according to flight schedule).

Day 15: End of stay

Steps: Parque Nacional Rapa Nui

Visit vineyards in the region if possible, or return to your home country.

It is possible to include a visit toEaster Island from Santiago (3 days would be the maximum given the time available). All this means that you need to negotiate your plane reservations very carefully throughout the country.
