Stay : The Tour of Gaspésie in Quebec

A great summer classic but one you don't get tired of. This tour is to do from June to September, most tourist attractions close during off season. Sainte-Flavie is located approximately 350 km from Quebec (via Highway 20). Perched approximately 400 km from Sainte-Flavie (via Highway 132).

Day 1: Departure from Sainte-Flavie

Steps: Grand-Metis, Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts

Visit Jardins de Métis{ in Grand-Métis and drive to Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. Meals and overnight on site.

Day 2: National Park of Gaspésie

Steps: Sainte-Anne-Des-Monts

Day dedicated to the exploration of the National Park of Gaspégie. Overight in Sainte-Anne-des-Monts.

Day 3: Heading for Gaspé

Steps: Gaspé, Mont-Saint-Pierre, Petite-Vallée, Mont-Louis

Drive to Gaspé with a few stops in Mont-Saint-Pierre, Mont-Louis and Petite-Vallée. Arriving in Gaspé and visit of Musée de la Gaspésie or the Micmac Interpretation Site of Gespeg. Meals and overnight in Gaspé.

Day 4: Forillon National Park of Canada and on the way to Percé

Steps: Gaspé, Percé, Barachois

Visit of Forillon National Park of Canada. Departure to Percé. Stop at Barachois to see the works by Gilles Côté at his art gallery. Meal and overnight in Percé.

Day 5: Percé and its surroundings

Steps: Bonaventure, Percé

Visit of Musée Le Chafaud and the historic area Charles-Robin. Tour of the Percé rock by boat and hiking on Bonaventure Island. In the evening, conference of SEPAQ in La Saline or show in the public place, or concert at Vieille Usine de l'Anse-à-Beaufils. Overnight in Percé.

Day 6: Departure for the Baie des Chaleurs

Steps: Bonaventure, New Carlisle, Paspébiac, L'Anse-À-Beaufils

On the way, stop at Anse-à-Beaufils for the historic General Store and the Old Factory. Drive to Paspébiac and visit the Banc-de-Pêche historical site. Then stop at the Hamilton Manor's tea room and art gallery in New Carlisle. Drive to Bonaventure. Meal and night on site.

Day 7: Outdoor activities

Steps: Bonaventure, Nouvelle

Visit the Bioparc de la Gaspésie or the Musée acadien du Québec. Other possibilities: deep-sea fishing, outdoor activities at CIME Aventures. Departure for Nouvelle and visit of the Parc national de Miguasha and its fossil site, classified as a natural World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Overnight stay in the area.

Day 8: End of the stay

Crossing the Matapédia Valley.
