Regional museum presenting permanent and temporary exhibitions on the history, art and culture of the Gaspesians.
A regional museum institution, the Musée de la Gaspésie is the place to (re) discover the history of this fabulous peninsula. The permanent exhibitions " At the confluence of worlds ", " The open sea " and " La Gaspésienne n° 20 " (an authentic cod fishing boat that can be visited) as well as the numerous temporary exhibitions are based on the history, art, heritage and culture of the Gaspesians. The Museum also houses the Gaspesian Archives Centre and a boutique selling regional arts and crafts products.
