Sport and viticulture go hand in hand! Leplan-Vermeersch is a family wine estate of 24 ha, created by Dirk Vermeersch, a former car driver. In 1986, he obtained his first "victories" with a 2003 (two stars in the Hachette wine guide) then with a 2006 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (95 out of 100 in the Parker guide). The estate produces a diverse range of organic wines from local (single) grape varieties such as Aramon, Carignan, Grenache, Syrah and Viognier. He is assisted by Ann, his daughter, an oenologist, and Sébastien, his son-in-law, a former rugby player.

One of our favourites. An organic estate where the stony soil of Tulette has been worked since the 1920s. Daniel Couston and his sister Marie-Françoise Abbès Couston now run the 80 hectares of vineyards created by their grandfather. On this terroir, which alternates vineyards and olive groves, they produce organic and vegan wines in all three colours. Beautiful Côtes-du-Rhône and Côtes-du-Rhône Villages wines with frank aromas of ripe fruit and a silky palate. The wines can be tasted in the cellar in the centre of the village.

A magnificent estate created in 1964 by Odette and Henri Bour. Descended from a long line of winegrowers, the Bour family set out to build an estate that respected tradition. In 1974, the construction of a vinification cellar enabled them to showcase the products of their terroir. Since then, their efforts have been rewarded with over 200 medals. The winery is located in the heart of an ^18th-century bastide. A warm welcome and a variety of events: introduction to wine tasting, educational walks, gourmet moments, wine and truffles...

The history of the Chapoton estate goes back to the reign of Louis XIV and the beautiful bastide, located at the foot of the village, was built at the end of the 18th century. Part of the wine-making cellar is located within the old walls. Among the exceptional terroirs of this estate, the one located at the top of the massif of Uchaux and Rochegude. The vineyard covers 60 hectares, spread over 4 communes, Rochegude with the Uchaux massif, Sainte-Cécile-les-Vignes and Cairanne. The wines reach, after years of hard work, an excellent quality. Safran du Val d'or - l'épice d'automne is a local producer located in Albon, Drôme. In a verdant setting, you can discover a wide range of products derived from saffron, including jams, chutneys and confectionery. The store is open all year round by appointment.

On a magnificent estate, Étienne Pochon farms some 15 hectares and vinifies in a restored château, aging his barrels in ancient vaulted rooms. The vineyard has been farmed organically since 2014. The estate's reds are solid and full-bodied (cuvée château Curson). The "domaine" white has a certain finesse, while the "château" develops more fatness and bite. Don't miss the Cuvée Étienne Pochon, whose fruity flavors will seduce even the most demanding palates...

As part of the Bienvenue à la ferme network, the Gaec de Brette Vieille offers direct sales of the farm's products: goat's milk cheeses at different stages of maturation and in different preparations (garlic, pepper, curry...), goat charcuterie, honeys, walnuts, walnut oil, lavender essential oil, cosmetics... Philomino Pisiu is an excellent artisanal ice cream chef from Sardinia. In the pedestrian center, he invites us to take a gourmet break with a choice of some twenty flavors and compositions of sorbets and ice creams served with a spatula as in Italy, with a choice of toppings. Divine ice cream made with Piedmont hazelnuts. The simple strawberry sorbet is already a real treat! An unmistakably southern journey for the taste buds, creamy and delicious. It is the cooperative of organic products of the Diois. A long time ago! You can find fruits and vegetables, cheeses (mainly goat's cheese, but also ewe's and cow's cheese), meats, eggs and poultry from Diois producers. La Carline - named after a pretty alpine flower - also has an organic bread section, a bulk section, oils, wines and local drinks, medicinal and aromatic plants, natural cosmetics... almost everything from the Diois, except of course for tofu, seaweed, vanilla... You can't miss this estate, located at the entrance of the village coming from Die, at the edge of the beautiful vineyard houses staked out from parcel to parcel, at the foot of the Vercors massif. Park in the cellar's car park and go for a walk through the vineyards before discovering the cellar. The Maupas estate, a small organic farm, was created in 1992 by Jérôme Cayol. The soil is worked with a draught horse and the grapes are harvested by hand. In the cellar, you can find clairette-de-die, Châtillon wines in the three colours and local products.

Baron d'Escalin brings together two estates: Vergobbi and Escalin. This vineyard is planted below the Barony of La Garde-Adhémar. The cellar is an invitation to a convivial discovery. Here, you'll find traditional Vergobbi cuvées, as well as the more confidential d'Escalin range of wines. The estate is run with respect for the environment (i.e. without pesticides or herbicides) and tradition, while integrating modernity.

Six generations have succeeded one another at the helm of the estate, which has just been taken over by Thomas Achard. This 11-hectare estate is the pioneer of organic Clairette de Die. Its commitment to organic and biodynamic farming dates back to 1971! A jubilee... and a truly historic estate for organic viticulture in France. The grandfather started with the Lemaire-Bouchet method. His son, Jean-Pierre, continued with Nature et Progrès organic wine specifications from 1982 to 2009. The next generation, with Thomas, embarked on Demeter certification in 2008. The estate is located in Sainte-Croix, overlooking the Drôme, just at the entrance to the beautiful Quint valley. People come from as far as Grenoble and Lyon to buy Achard-Vincent clairette, which has a loyal following. We love its pronounced muscat taste and lightness. Also very pleasant crémants. Mas Théo is the result of the heritage of three family farms: the Théolas, specializing mainly in sheep rearing; the Clapiers, with vines and cereals; and the Bes, with sheep, cereals and vines. When Laurent, the last descendant of the Clapier family, took over in 1999, he integrated winemaking into the estate's activities. Mas Théo produces straightforward, affordable AOP Grignan-les-Adhémar wines, organic since 2004 and biodynamic since 2012, matured in cool, damp old chalk rock quarries.

Founded by the Meynier family in 2001. Les Grands Goulets' old-fashioned ravioles, made with good local produce, are larger than the usual ravioles. The filling is present and generous. There's a boutique in Crest, and here's the workshop of this remarkable organic fair-trade chocolate factory in Beaufort-sur-Gervanne, in the heart of nature, which produces its chocolate bars and bonbons in an ecological, bioclimatic and wooded building. Here, organic, grand cru cocoa from São-Tomé-et-Principe is used, along with local ingredients and original combinations, from Clairette de Die to black garlic from Crest, as well as spices from elsewhere. It is the Giant Casino of Valencia South, located just steps away from the exit of the A 7 motorway. This hypermarket and its shopping gallery are huge and have a huge car park where there is a circus. The complex also hosts a Casino Drive to recover its ordered Internet races. This organic estate has been in the same family for 4 generations. In the heart of the Drôme Provençale, it combines the cultivation of vines and olive trees. Jean-Marc and Guillaume Rocheville manage a vineyard of 11 ha, harvest by hand and vinify their production. The Rocheville family proposes the discovery of its vineyard, its olive grove and its orchards, through a Rando terroir discovery trail accessible to all. Mentioned as early as 1850, the vineyard of this magnificent château was replanted by the Marchal family in 1975 on an 8-hectare hillside. The Marchals have done a lot for the recognition of Brézème wine. This estate, protected by low walls, is now run by the eleven children of the Marchal family and their descendants. They have wonderfully enhanced the place by planting fruit trees: oaks, kiwis, pear trees, fig trees, apricot trees. You will find at the Brézème cellar in the 3 colours. Sustainable viticulture, natural grassing, manual harvest.

"Global thinking, local action" is the slogan of this farm, which has been committed to organic farming since 1979. Its orchards stretch all around this certified organic farm, where fruit is harvested, pressed and bottled. The result is a fine collection of 100% pure fruit juices and nectars, made from apples, pears, quinces, peaches, apricots, cherries, redcurrants, raspberries and more. Our favorite is Étonnant d'abricot, a delicate blend of apricot nectar and apple juice. Apple and pear purées are also delicious.

In 2010, a small store opened in Aix-en-Provence and enjoyed great success with a range of gourmet products made from local ingredients, flavored olive oils, truffle cream and other aperitif spreads. Today, a magnificent glass and wood factory, located along the N7, near Mirmande, houses a production workshop, a gourmet table and a store. Dare to try the poichinade/poutarde, the morel cream or the cep/tarragon cream... A favorite is the N7 Apéro Bio set, a trio of small jars: tomato, artichoke, bell pepper.

A well-known brand. Since 1957, this family farm has been producing farm quality poultry. Chickens, guinea fowl, ducks, turkeys, capons and rabbits are raised in the open air and sold directly in the farm shop, on local markets, from Crest to Romans, from Privas to La Voulte, and at a few gourmet addresses. The business is running smoothly. The old-timers remember that it all began when Geneviève and François Portier started selling vegetables and then chickens at the Crest market, more than 60 years ago...

In a region committed to organic farming, Biscuiterie du Rozet's delicacies are free from artificial or chemical additives, and made with selected ingredients: fresh, stone-ground flour, free-range eggs, fresh butter from Ardèche... Gourmets are spoilt for choice: almond shortbread, Breton shortbread, lemon shortbread, coconut, candied ginger or walnut rochers, chocolate or raspberry fillings, speculoos, almond tuiles, meringue, chocolate almond cookies, palmiers, croq'avoine, Swiss... You can go to the market every day. This large shop selling fruit directly from the Gaec de La Tour, whose orchards can be seen all around, offers a wide range of fruit and vegetables, but also local products: charcuterie from Limouches or Teyssier, dry-cured ham from Carré de Picq de Die, poultry and cheeses, wines and syrups, honeys and local pastries, Valrhona chocolate and even a small organic section. In the summer, you can buy crates of peaches and other nectarines, but also batches of apricots or strawberries for jams.

A corner of sun and sea... a corner of sun and sea in this grocery store that has become, over the years, the meeting place for lovers of Portuguese gastronomy. Pieces of hake, red mullet, sea bream for bouillabaisse, squid, cockles, horse mackerel for grilling, but also cod acras. In the shop you can find whole salted and dried cod, suckling pig fritters, olive oil, chorizo, sardines... But also many wines, delicatessen and cheeses from the Ardèche.

On this estate you will find fervent defenders of Brézème as it is the oldest private cellar in the appellation, founded in 1981 by Jean-Marie and Sylvette Lombard. This estate extends its vine rows over 10 hectares of Brézème and 2 hectares of Drôme local wine. Organic and biodynamic farming perfectly enhances the grape varieties of this "special" corner of the world: syrah for the reds, marsanne, roussanne and viognier for the whites, with vines planted on semi-slopes, hillsides and terraces.

Drôme fans of craft beers know this mule well! A range of small and large bottles can be found in organic stores and some local supermarkets. La Vieille Mule is produced in Le Poët-Laval by Cynthia and Rémi using spring water and organic ingredients - local barley malt, home-grown hops and yeast - that make all the difference. We prefer the Mule tombée du ciel, a fruity blonde, and the Vieille Mule, an aromatic amber. In the brewery's courtyard, in summer, a number of festivities take place.

Since 1953, this brand has been offering organic products and creating artisanal infusions. Today, no one is unaware of the benefits of plants, and Le Dauphin offers a wide range of herbal teas in sachets and loose. On the menu: detox, digestion, harmony, zenitude, lightness, tonic... Blends, but also star plants that stand on their own, such as thyme from Provence, verbena from Drôme provençale, linden from the Baronnies... No on-site visits to the factory, but products are sold in many regional boutiques.

The cheese dairy La chevrette de Blandine is located below at the entrance of the village of Montmiral. You will be kindly welcomed by the Gilibert family, owners of the 170 dairy goats on the farm. This family business transforms the milk from their herd into tommes (white, hard, ashy, with dried tomatoes...), faisselles, bûchettes (fresh, ashy, with herbs), apéri'chèvre.... You will also be able to get goat sausage, nuts and cooked dishes made with goat meat. You didn't stop over for nothing!

Jean-Marc and Sophie Robin are... spiruliers. Come and discover their farm and the artisanal spirulina of the Drôme des collines. Spirulina is an exceptional alga, an elixir of well-being and health. This product offers the body essential nutrients to fight against fatigue, overwork and certain diseases. Spirulina from the Algoa farm is grown in a pesticide-free greenhouse. Harvested, drained, pressed and dried, the algae is reduced to dehydrated flakes. A concentrate of vitality. Visit the greenhouse on request. Tasting, cooking classes.

The Saint-Joseph honey factory has more than 500 hives. Up to 14 honeys are available: acacia, chestnut, lavender, etc. and a more gourmet range with almond, caramel, lemon, walnut and pistachio honeys... Honeys made with a high quality requirement but also "health products" collected from the hives such as royal jelly, pollen and propolis. Group visits are possible by appointment, otherwise you can always enjoy the transparent hive at the entrance.

This young distillery, housed in a former ^18th-century silkworm nursery, invites you behind the scenes of its organic whisky. The base ingredients are barley grown in the surrounding countryside and pure Vercors spring water. Then brewing, fermentation, double distillation and maturation in the cellars. This excellent house distills at a very gentle temperature thanks to a new-generation still. Enthusiasts appreciate the quality of this local whisky.

In this village of fresh air and joie de vivre, marked by the presence of the miraculous water of Notre-Dame de Fresneau, you'll find a real butcher's and delicatessen. At the knife and block, Loïc Tomas, a passionate lover of good things who would have pleased Jean Carmet. Marsanne is a meeting place for gourmets in search of homemade sausage or murson, caillette, boudin, Forez veal or Limousin beef.

Direction Beauregard-Baret, less than ten kilometers from Hostun. Here, sisters Sabine and Marie-Lise Matras have been running a farm dedicated to growing AOP de Grenoble walnuts on some 30 hectares since 2007. The land has been in the family since 1822. Nut-growing know-how has been handed down from generation to generation. On site, you'll find dried, roasted and sweetened walnuts, as well as walnut oil, mustard and walnut vinegar... Noix et Compagnie products are distributed by many grocery stores in the surrounding area.

In the heart of Drôme provençale, between Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux and Suze-la-Rousse, the domaine produces wines belonging to three appellations: Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages and Côtes du Rhône Villages Suze-la-Rousse. Raphaël Knapp has owned the estate since 2018, after 15 years in California. In conversion to organic farming since 2019, the estate should soon see the arrival of its first organic-labeled cuvées. In the meantime, pleasant and instructive tasting sessions allow you to discover their best vintages.

Her great-grandfather Clément built the mas, her grandfather Henri made the land fruitful, her father Gérard planted vines... Corinne Depeyre entered the fray in 2015. This winegrower, proud of her land and her roots, is continuing the adventure with her Syrah, Grenache and Carignan, Viognier, Roussanne and Clairette grape varieties, spread over 20 hectares and lined with lime and hackberry trees. In the cellar, subtle organic wines from AOP Côte-du-Rhône and IGP Méditerranée: a rosé, 2 whites, half a dozen reds, including two gourmet wines, and a natural sparkling wine.

Markus rightly claims to be the forerunner of craft beer in the Drôme. The famous open-mouthed hippopotamus beer, founded in 2001, has moved from its Saou premises to vast, modern premises in Cléon-d'Andran. Craft quality remains, as does the know-how that has made the brand's reputation. The beer, which is neither filtered nor pasteurized, comes in 4 colors and numerous perpetual or seasonal varieties. Also lemonade and shandy. L'Hippo Drôme, the Markus brewery's beer bar, is still open in Saou.

Come and spend a convivial and greedy moment in a real brasserie! Montilians of all ages are numerous to hurry, at the end of the day, in this place with the retro, industrial and chic style where the happy hours are generous in pint at the price of half. Stéphane and Caroline Robert run a shop just a few steps from the cathedral. Their beautiful old-fashioned shop offers delicious ripened cheeses from all over the country. You will find morbiers, a rare sheep's cheese from the Belloc abbey in Urt in the Basque country, round cheeses or hearts from across the Channel and many other dairy products from the Helvetians or Transalpine countries. The owners have selected wines and will be able to advise you on which bottle to choose to match your cheese platter and your dishes. An excellent address.

Guy Reynaud looks after a vineyard of 20 ha and 3 AOC, côtes-du-rhône, côtes-du-rhône villages and grignan-les-adhémar. The vineyard is certified organic since 2011, as well as the olive oil of the domain. Saint-Guéry offers tasters a wide choice: the white "Payenne" grignan-les-adhémar, the rosé "Harmony", 4 reds: Garigon, Prestige, Garigues, Bergide and the white Serre. Finally, a late harvest white wine "Douceur d'automne" ideal with desserts. The estate also offers a gîte with two rooms facing the truffle oaks and the Ventoux.
