Over a distance of 1,192 meters, it reaches a height of 370 meters. The route has a gradient of 23% to a maximum of 58%. The substation is located at 287 and the journey takes around five minutes. The MerkurBergbahn takes hikers, day trippers and nature lovers to the 668-metre-high summit of Baden-Baden's local mountain, the Merkur, every day.
