Large natural lake of over 7 km² for numerous water sports and hiking activities in Schluchsee.

The Schluchsee is the largest natural lake in Baden-Württemberg. The lake covers an area of more than 7 km² and appears as a pearl of azure water in the middle of a green setting. In summer, the lake is popular for its water activities: kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming attract many tourists. Hikers, bikers and cyclists like to go around the lake to enjoy the various viewpoints overlooking the mountains. In winter, the lake is transformed into an ice rink, and snowshoeing attracts tourists in search of peace and quiet.
