LE XAVIER

Restaurant €€

In the heart of Vieux-Terrebonne, in a superb heritage house dating back to 1804, this festive restaurant has taken up residence. A veritable gourmet refuge, the restaurant serves seasonal cuisine featuring tasty Quebec products such as organic Charlevoix meats and cheeses from the Fritz Kaiser cheese factory in the Montérégie region. At the bar, an extensive wine list perfectly complements each dish. Mention should also be made of the incredible design of the premises, which combines modernity with historic cachet.

RESTO Ô CAMPAGNARD PAR SDD

Brunch

La Sucrerie du Domaine is a new gourmet restaurant with a rustic-chic look, where you can indulge until you're blue in the face. It's the perfect spot for lunch, brunches and lunches, with utterly decadent dishes made from 100% Lanaudière produce. We love the poutine "hangover" with organic free-range egg, cubed potatoes, house-smoked baloney, maple-smoked ham, Cabane bacon and homemade hollandaise sauce. Definitely not a place to diet!

LE VICE-CACHÉ

World cuisine restaurant €€

Located in the heart of the village, this urban bistro specializes in tapas such as cod acras, oysters and mignonettes, octopus carpaccio, arancini and tuna tataki. If tapas aren't your cup of tea, dishes like the Vice burger and pasta with snails and braised beef macreuse are also on the menu. The wine list features a selection of privately imported wines, cocktails and, above all, a mind-boggling list of Quebec gins. Good deal: oysters at $1.50 CAN on Thursdays from 3pm.

BÂTIMENT B

Bistronomy €€

Right in the heart of the Île-des-Moulins historic site, this restaurant occupies a period building on the banks of the Rivière des Milles-Îles (its terrace offers a superb view). The menu follows the bistronomy concept with an international touch (naan crab and shrimp, bao bread with crispy pork, linguini with jerk chicken, etc.). On Sunday mornings, the place attracts brunch enthusiasts, and we recommend the "Festin brunch" menu for two or more people. A fine selection of beers, wines and spirits from Quebec.

L'ÉRABLIÈRE D'AUTREFOIS

Canadian restaurant €€

In a large, unpretentious wooden room, this address offers pure delight for gourmets. At the dawn of spring, the sugar shack comes alive and hearty meals are cooked on the wood stove in the traditional way. All you can eat, and the experience ends with the famous taffy on snow. But don't forget to bring your own booze. Note that the sugar bush also manages the Chez Ti-Jean cross-country ski center in L'Épiphanie, where you can also enjoy snowshoeing (admission fee, equipment rental on site).
